Not only are the soldiers in Iraq carrying rifles, but rummage through their rucksacks and you'll find personal CD players, MP3 players, DVD movie systems, satellite dishes and laptop computers with full internet access. In affect, they are carrying a little piece of home with them as they carry out their duties in the war-torn country.
The latest technology is keeping up the soldiers spirits as they are able to keep up to date with current topics in their homeland along with the latest news in the world of entertainment.
Music wise, they have access to everything from Abba and AC/DC to ZZ Top.
Although the troops tend to favour films like The Matrix, Tomb Raider and the Terminator trilogy, they are also beamed tv shows, one of which is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Buffy sends the sort of message the soldiers want to hear, but also, the lads can't get enough of Sarah Michelle Gellar.
