David Boreanaz has shown his support for the PETA organizsation by posing for an advert that will run later this year.
The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals was founded in 1980 and currently has over 800,000 members, making it the largest animal organization in the world.
PETA believes that animals deserve the most basic rights—consideration of their own best interests regardless of whether they are useful to humans. Like you, they are capable of suffering and have interests in leading their own lives; therefore, they are not ours to use—for food, clothing, entertainment, or experimentation, or for any other reason.
As well as David Boreanaz, other famous supporters include Paul McCartney, Pamela Anderson, Alicia Silverstone and Charlize Theron.
