Following the end of both shows, rumours and comments sparked from all sources that 3 TV movies were planned to carry one the 'Buffyverse". One would have cantered the vampire Spike, a second one for rogue hunter Faith (Eliza Dushku) and a third Alyson Hannigan's Willow.
"I think its safe to say that's not happening anymore," SyFyPortal cites Acker as telling fans during a convention, "'cause if they were, they'd be getting done right now. There was supposed to be three of them -- one for Spike, a Faith one and also one for Willow. I think it's safe to say that now because its not going to happen."
The actress points to an incompatibility between series creator Joss Whedon and Fox, saying "Fox couldn't get it together the way Joss wanted to do them."
