Sarah Michelle Gellar

"Buffy Anne Summers"

Gellar's acting career has spanned nearly 15 years. She won an Emmy in 1994 for her role as "Kendall Hart" on the ABC daytime drama All My Children, and completed classes at the High School for the Performing Arts in New York a year ahead of schedule. Her impressive list of starring roles in television includes An Invasion of Privacy (CBS telefilm), A Woman Named Jackie (CBS miniseries) and All My Children (ABC). Gellar's film credits include Funny Farm, Over the Brooklyn Bridge and High Stakes. On stage, Gellar has appeared in "Jake's Women" and "The Widow Claire".

James Marsters joined the cast as a series regular for the show's fourth season.Born in the remote northern logging town of Greenville, California, and raised in Modesto, California, Marsters made his stage debut as Eyeore in a fourth grade production of "Winnie the Pooh" and went on to study acting at Julliard. He began his professional career in the theater, performing in stage productions including "The Tempest" and "Red Noses" at Chicago's Goodman Theater. Within months of relocating he was sinking his proverbial teeth into the role of Spike in "Buffy The Vampire Slayer." He also appeared in the feature film "House on Haunted Hill," a psychological thriller co-starring Geoffrey Rush, Famke Janssen, Taye Diggs, and Lisa Loeb.When he's not working, Marsters enjoys playing the guitar, watching football, and spending time with friends at the beach. He currently lives in Los Angeles.

Alyson Hannigan

Alyson has been acting since the age of four.Born in Washington D.C., Hannigan moved to Atlanta at age two. She began her career in Atlanta doing commercials, working steadily in national spots for companies like McDonald's, Six Flags Amusement Parks, and Oreo Cookies. At age 11, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting roles in television and film.

Her breakthrough role came at age 13 when she was cast as Dan Aykroyd's misunderstood daughter in the feature film "My Stepmother is an Alien." She went on to guest star on a number of popular television shows, including "Picket Fences," "Roseanne," and "Touched by an Angel." She was a recurring character on the series "Almost Home" and a series regular on "Free Spirit."She recently reprised her role as the flute playing band camper, Michelle, in the much-anticipated sequel "American Pie 2."Hannigan resides in Los Angeles with her three dogs and two cats.

Nicholas Brendon

Nicholas turned to acting when his aspirations of playing professional baseball were squelched by a serious arm injury. He first appeared on television in a handful of commercials and guest starring roles, including "Married...with Children" and "Dave's World."Soon after, he landed the role of Xander in the hit series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and hung up his apron for good--he hopes.Brendon's feature film credits include "Psycho Beach Party" and the horror film "Pinata," in which he co-stars with fiancée Tressa Di Figlia.Off-screen, the Los Angeles native enjoys attending Dodger games, camping and spending quality time with friends and family. He also enjoys daydreaming of world travel, writing poetry, philanthropy and watching anything on A&E.

Emma Caufield

"Anya"

Emma Caulfield first appeared on "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" as a guest star during the 1998-99 season, portraying the demon Anyanka, patron saint of scorned women. Then the character lost her powers and became Anya, a 1,120-year-old mortal teenager, and Caulfield joined the cast as a series regular.

Born and raised in San Diego, Caulfield began studying drama while still in high school at the La Jolla Playhouse. Caulfield's big break came in 1995 when she joined the cast of "Beverly Hills, 90210" as Brandon's (Jason Priestly) journalist girlfriend, Susan Keats. Following her stint on the primetime serial, she landed the role of Lorraine Miller on the daytime drama "General Hospital."She currently lives in L.A.

Michelle Trachtenberg

She is perhaps best known for her starring role in "Harriet the Spy" opposite Rosie O'Donnell, for which she won the "Best Lead Actress in a Feature Film" award from "Young Artists of Hollywood."

A native New Yorker, she began her acting career at the age of four when she appeared in her first television commercial. Since then, she has appeared in over 100 national spots and in starring roles both in film and on television.

In 1999, Trachtenberg starred opposite Matthew Broderick in the live-action feature film "Inspector Gadget."

Her contributions to the fight against drugs earned her the prestigious responsibility of representing youth of America at CNN's headquarters in Atlanta, where she helped President Clinton launch "The Coalition for a Drug Free America" campaign. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys swimming, rollerblading, ice-skating, bicycling and writing short stories.

Amber Benson

Raised in Alabama, Benson trained at the State of Alabama Ballet Company.

Benson has amassed a number of television and film roles. Her television credits include the television movie "Jack Reed: An Honest Cop," as well as guest starring roles on "Promised Land," "Cracker" and "Partners."

Benson will be seen on the big screen in the upcoming "Taboo" with Nick Stahl. She was recently seen in "The Prime Gig," starring opposite Vince Vaughn, Ed Harris, and Julia Ormond. She also appeared in the controversial film short "Don's Plum," alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Marissa Ribisi and Tobey Maguire.Aside from acting, she enjoys art, music and is a huge fan of singer Jeff Buckley. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Anthony Stewart Head

"Rupert Giles"

Head was a regular cast member on the sci-fi television series "VR.5." He also guest starred on the series "Highlander" and the Emmy-winning police drama "NYPD Blue."

He has performed in several BBC Productions, including "Secret Army," "Accident," "Bergerac," "The Grudge Fight," "Howard's Way," "Pulaski" and, most recently, "Manchild," described as a British version of "Sex and the City" from the male perspective. Head also starred in the British television productions "Enemy at the Door" and "Love in a Cold Climate."

Head attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
