Gilbert filling Hannigan's shoes on 'In the Game'

Variety.com reports that "American Pie" star Alyson Hannigan will not join Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ed O'Neill on ABC's upcoming comedy series "In the Game."

Instead, the role will be filled by Sara Gilbert ("Roseanne"), who will guest star in the role.

No further information.

By on February 15th @ 13:49: Not that I think Alyson Hannigan would have been good in a show with Jennifer Love Hewitt anyway, but I don't think Sara Gilbert would've done a better job(if even as good). Nothing further.´
