Is the Buffy and Angel Cast Willing to do more spin-offs?
The best "SOS Campaign" to bring back the Whedonverse would not have a major influence when the actors were not interested in doing more stuff for Whedon.
Kirstin checked back with reps for the Buffy and Angel castmembers, and they told her that though their clients are working on various projects (Alyson Hannigan on Veronica Mars; David Boreanaz on three movies; Amy Acker on a pilot called The Unit with Scott Foley), they would love to work with Joss again.

Some months ago, Eliza Dushku indicated she would love to reprise her role as Faith, whether that be on TV, film, whatever format the Buffy-verse could potentially continue in.
Joss said he is "salivating" to do a "Faith" spinoff series if Eliza Dushku wants to.
And as Tru Calling seems to be cancelled there are also chances for this spin-off idea.
James revealed again that there are ideas for a Spike Spin-Off! Is it a good idea?
"Joss and I have talked about [it]," he told. "I told him I would be very interested in doing it within a five-year time span, but being that the character is a vampire, I didn't think that I was the guy to play him after that because, with everyone who played a vampire on that show, it was a prime concern that you try to maintain the look that you were hired with, that you really try not to age. Frankly, television will age you. It's like being the President. It's some long hours! And one of the coolest things about a vampire is his iconic ability to just not change. I told Joss I would love to work with him, whatever he's got. So, series TV, direct-to-video, animation, whatever! He's a good writer, so he tends to attract good writers, so it's good to work with him."

ArrayBy on March 15th @ 11:50: I think most fans of Joss' work wouldn't care too much who was in a new movie or series just as long as it continued the story in some way. My personal favourites are Giles, Spike Xander, Illyria and Andrew but anyone would be great!´

| ArrayBy on March 17th @ 03:28: I know its nothing solid but I was exstatic upon reading this article. The other day I was watching some season 7 commentary and heard them talking about how they wanted to do a Spike and Faith spin off but it just never worked out. If they could make it work I think fans worldwide would rejoice. I like a lot of characters on the show but Faith and Spike have always been at the top of my list. And there are so many characters for a spin off whether theyd fit or not they have so many options: Willow, Kennedy, Illyria, Xander, Andrew, Ethan, Dawn, Wood, Eve, Lorn, Rhiley and Sam, Giles, Buffy, Angel, Harmony, Conner, and a bajillion potentuals. Plus new character!(sorry gun your the man but I dont see you livin through that end fight) Plus you got all the super cool characters that died like Lyndsey. You know the rule if they die thats usually more airtime somehow. Theres still a hellmouth in Ohio... the Order of Taraka is still around somewhere... this show would be amazing!´

| ArrayBy on March 17th @ 05:15: Don't get your hopes up, people. They have spoken of doing spin-off and movies and tv-movies for years, ever before Angel was cancelled.
Personally, I would love to see an Anya spin-off. Like someone said - "rule if they die thats usually more airtime".´

| ArrayBy on March 17th @ 11:33: I just read that most of the original members of "Angel": Alexis Denisof, J. Augustus Richards, Amy Acker and Andy Hallet may consider joining Anthony Stewart Head on the project in work known as "Ripper" a spin-off of Buffy dealing with him and his past with Chaos. None of this has been confirmed however.´

| ArrayBy on March 18th @ 18:46: I more or less agree with what the first poster here said - the true fans won't bother who's in the show as long as the Buffyverse continues and we have occasional guest spots from our favourite characters. ´

| ArrayBy on March 20th @ 11:56: Kristen actually had a poll going on eonline asking to vote for your favourite spinoff character and the results were to be posted on the 19th of March but so far I can't find the result. Hopefully they will be posted soon.´

| ArrayBy on March 21st @ 15:44: I think that if Joss were to create the spin off it would be compleatly amazing!! Considering I had actually thought of creating a spin off series!!! It would make me feel so much better to know that he would be reviving something that is dearly missed to many!!! ´

| ArrayBy on March 22nd @ 21:49: I think Whedonites are so hungry for something that we will eat up almost any character he'll spin off for us (or maybe I'm just speaking for myself). Anyways, I myself, as incredibly unpopular and unlikely as it probably is, would love to see The Groosalugg get a spin-off, maybe even a Lorne + Groo one. Also, it would be interesting to see (although not on a weekly basis) The Finns in operation. I read in one of the unnoficial guidebooks that, before the Last-Season-Ever bomb suddenly dropped on Angel, there were talks of the role of The Groosalugg to be revived.
However, the obvious favourites are Spike, Faith, and the new slayers. Maybe a merging of the Buffy/Angel shows even? I mean, Wolfram & Hart is an international company, plus there is that whole thing with Buffy and The Immortal...´
