Fun Facts to Know and Tell

From James's time on stage you found out many fun facts to know and tell

On many weekends, many cast members go to Joss's place, do Shakespeare scenes, drink and play music.

When asked about the rumour that he had originally auditioned for the part of 'Angel', he said "I didn't, but I would have gotten that part!" (laughs) "David's gonna kick my arse!"

James's favourite episode is the 'Fool For Love' crossover, mainly because of the challenge the script set him. "I was terrified" but he also saw it as a gift.

One of James's favourite lines is the Girl in Peril Parody from 'In the Dark' because the writers had the guts to pay the hell out of and criticise their own show and main character in it's third episode ever.

James has visited some fan sites before, and was amazed at how great many of them are. However, he doesn't visit them regularly because he doesn't have a computer, plus he said he'd get a big head if he did.

At first when queried about the Australian 'delicacy' Vegemite, James stated that he had never actually tried it, but would be happy to try anything once. He then went on to say that he didn't fully know exactly what it is. A member of the audience enlightened him by saying 'it's tastes like stale beer with salt added' Mmm, tasty. A girl from the audience jumped up and gave him a 'tim tam' (it's very rich chocolate biscuit), his reaction after tasting it was "it's like a kit kat… but better!"

James loves stunt work, basically everything you see where his feet are on the ground is James. David Boreanaz and James are apparently the only ones allowed to actually 'fight' each other.

James collects Star Wars 'pez' dispensers, he jokingly told us about how he doesn't know why people won't eat out of them after his burnt incense ash falls on them.

He spoke about crossovers, how they are now a problem. He hopes that the WB will drop Angel.

He has never actually watched 'Passions', all he knows is that 'Timmy is down the bloody well'. However, he did tell us that Sarah Michelle Gellar watches it, and other soaps for the irony.

On kissing SMG, "I can't really say if it enjoyable to kiss her, it's more about whether the lights are hitting the nose right and the 500 or so crew members around." He went on to say that you never feel more like a prostitute than in those scenes "Action! Cut! Action! Cut!"

He spoke briefly about House on Haunted Hill saying that one of the main reasons he took the role was to work with Geoffrey Rush.

James has been mugged 5 times, as a result of this, and of "doing the stupid thing, saying 'f**k you'" to the person mugging him, the scar on his eyebrow is very much real. The make up artists only make it bigger.

And yes, he does have an American accent in real life, although he happily answered a few questions in Spike's British accent, which pleased the audience immensely.
