Review of “I Fall To Pieces”
Talk about your preverbal brain freeze! Well, I know I'm in for a treat with both Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt at the helm here, so I expect nothing below great and I'm not totally disappointed. The only thing I would really swipe about might be some of the special effects. I got the child-like nightmare flash backs of Invaders From Mars and The Blob. Not to mention Thing from the Addams Family. These tended to take away from the horror a tad but Joss is like that. Although when Dr. Meltzer raised his non-hands, well that was a bit un-nerving!
I give it . . .

Cordelia: "You're a lot smarter than you look. Of course, you look like a retard." Angel: "If he comes apart on me he's going to stay that way." Doyle: "Alright, you're pretty much the night deposit guy." Cordelia: "If I hit you in the head would you have a vision?" Angel: "My name's Angel. I'm in private security." Doyle: "I've always meant to do that but I intensely don't want to so I haven't gotten around to it." Angel: "Am I intimidating? I mean, do I put people off?" Cordelia: "As vampires go, you're pretty cuddly." Doyle: "Enough English whiskey to drop my aunt Judy. That woman had some girth." Angel: "My name's Angel. I'm in private security." Angel: "You guys go on. I think I'll stay here and not burst into flames."
