Sarah has signed on for the sequel to "The Grudge." Filming begins in January and they are shooting for an October 20, 2006 release date.

Sarah has new representation - she has recently
signed on with the William Morris Agency. They are like the best, so this
is pretty cool.

"Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" is the #1
movie in the US right now, grossing an estimated $30.7 million. Yes, that
is less than they made the first weekend with the first movie, but keep in mind
that the first one opened in June, during the summer movie season where movies
always make more money. For March, this is pretty great - as the article said,
26% higher than last year.
This may or may not be sad news for you (I've had mixed feelings about the topic,
personally), but Sarah
Michelle Gellar will not be appearing in "Angel." Despite the
fact that David Boreanaz appeared in the final episode of "Buffy,"
Joss doesn't want the "Angel" finale to be all about a big guest star.
They had wanted her in the penultimate episode, but she was in Tokyo while they
filmed it. Oh well.
I have been hearing that the movie Sarah just finished filming, "The Grudge,"
would be premiering in October, but according to this
Sunday Herald article, we can look forward to seeing it July 2nd.

According to TV Guide, Sarah Michelle Gellar taping an episode of The Simpsons
to air in early 2004, reports TV Guide. Gellar will play a bad girl named Gina,
who befriends Bart when he's sent to juvenile detention and later helps him
escape.
