It was horrible, gruesome and completely unheard of. Drained humans, sure; that was part of daily life in Sunnydale. The choice of victims could be explained; a vampire who had a weird fetish for the old, the weak, the comatose, the newborn. One could dismiss that all of them had been tied up before they were killed. The duct-tape though, that couldn't be explained away as easily. Their very own chipped houseguest had agreed that vampires preferred to take their blood from living victims. So why would this one suffocate them beforehand by covering their mouths and noses with tape.
