They had forgotten the most important law of all: You don’t mess with nature. It was a bad idea to import animals into a country that wasn’t prepared for them, and it was a worse idea to mess with the Powers plan where the Slayer line was concerned. Experiences can change what we have the potential to become, there had been a reason the Powers That Be chose to awaken those dormant powers only in a selected few of the girls born with them. Demons were no longer a threat to humanity, but the Slayers were. A war was raging. | ||
