Trust is good. She had trusted him. First after she stopped him from leaving and he swore not to go back there; next when the thing with her mom happened and he was by her side on her rampage through the vampire community. Again when he came home beaten and without Dawnie, telling her the chip must have stopped working. When the stake intended for her sister’s supposed murderer got turned around and sunk in his chest she rushed to save him – and froze when instead of dying he crumpled to dust. Trust is good, but be careful whom you trust. | ||
