Buffy stopped short of the crypt door. Behind lay Spike and his damned
electrifying body and his damned evil self. Buffy was confused and horny.
She loathed Spike. Didn't she? What was it about the dyed blonde English
vampire that made her blood boil in more ways than one? She had told him it
was over, she had told him she did not want him. But she knew her no's
where somehow lies. She just couldn't bring herself to stop wanting
him.
His kisses drove her crazy and the way he touched her in all her secret places, well it made her head spin just to remember it. Even Angel had not taken her to those places. Those dark places, the ones you were told not to like, the ones you were told you were a bad girl if
you enjoyed. If you let yourself go, forgot the world around you, if you
gave into the dark places, gave into the night, well it was just wrong. A
slayer was supposed to love the light, but with Spike, the darkness was
heaven. Hell even in her night dreams she would not let herself go there.
Until Spike.
Her thoughts froze as she thought she heard someone
approach. She ducked behind a tree. She listened. The footfalls where
light and a bit hard to hear, but then she saw who it was. His leather coat billowed behind him from the breeze filled night, he wore his black jeans and scuffed boots, his arm wrapped around the brown paper bag. Spike, she sucked in a breath, Spike. I thought he was inside.
Thank
God she ducked out of the way.
She watched as he went to push open the
crypt door, but then he stopped. He seemed to sense something, but he
shrugged his shoulders and went on inside.
She let out the breath she
had been holding. Why was she hiding? She was the slayer and he had a chip
in his head. He could not harm her. Oh yes he can Buffy, she said to
herself, he can do a lot of damage, he can make you love him. I will not
fall in love with a dead thing! She swore to herself, no matter how damn
good the sex is.
She moved out into the evening. "Here vampires,
demons," she whispered, "Come and get me, I have to use up this pent up
energy somehow!"
Something moved in a bush behind her. A vampire. She
jumped at him and the fight began. She played with him a bit and then
staked him with one strong movement of her arm. She chocked as the vampire exploded into dust and the breeze that blew at the same time, pushed the
dust into her mouth.
"Yuck!" said Buffy.
"That can't be fun." Spike said
somewhere behind her.
"Spike!" Buffy said turning to face him, still
chocking, "What are you doing , cough cough, here?"
"Live here,
remember?"
"Oh yeah," Buffy replied.
"Need some water pet?" Spike
asked.
"I don't need anything from you, Spike! Cough Cough"
"Have it your
way, Slayer. I was only trying to help."
He started to walk away towards his
crypt which was only a few feet away.
"Wait!" Buffy coughed out. "I
could use some water."
Spike stopped and turned towards her. "I have bottled
water in my fridge."
He turned away and headed for the crypt. To Buffy
it looked as if he did not care if she followed or not. She thought not to,
but began to cough again, so she followed.
It was very dark in the
crypt. He only had a few candles lit at the entrance of the crypt. He went
to the fridge and got out a bottle of water for her. He handed it to
her.
She nodded to him and coughed again.
Spike nodded back to
her.
Then he went over to the telly and turned it on. He took off his leather coat and his red shirt. He had his black t-shirt on with his black jeans. He made himself comfortable in his chair in front of the
telly and began to watch some game show.
A breeze swept through the front of
the crypt and put out the few candles that had been lit. Buffy had not
closed the crypt door behind her when she came in. She and Spike were in
the darkness, except for the light of the television.
Spike seemed not to
have noticed. He just watched the show. He seems to have forgotten I am
here too, Buffy thought. She got up and headed towards the door. She
called, "I'm leaving. "
Spike took a moment and then looked up and said,
"Okay."
Buffy slammed the crypt door, but she was still inside. Spike turned his head to her and raised an eyebrow. The light of the telly flickering on his white vampire skin.
"What's wrong, Spike?" Buffy said
kind of sternly.
"What?" questioned Spike.
"No lame conversation, no
trying to get me to aahhh stay. No.."
"Look, Slayer," Spike began, "you are
the one who told me no more. Wasn't that you? Or was that just some body
that looked like you?" Buffy was at a loss for a moment, what was she
supposed to say when he was right? She hated it when he was right.
"I,
err I just wanted you to acknowledge my presence, that's all."
"Outside when
you were hiding behind the tree, or now?" Spike said.
"You really are a pig,
Spike!"
Spike stood up and faced her, "So you keep telling me." His face wore a bit of a sneer or so she thought, it was hard to see in this
light.
"But just how am I the pig this time? I offered you water when you were chocking, you came into my home, such as it is, you don't say thanks for the water, you slam my door and then try to start a
fight!"
"Just forget it, just forget it," Buffy said. What else could she
say?
"It's forgotten," Spike yelled back.
Buffy threw open the crypt door
with a bang and walked out, again leaving the door opened. Spike went to
the door slowly, his jaw clenched in anger.
Buffy was so lost in
what had just happened and the fact that Spike was right, that she did not
notice the two vampires waiting to jump her.
She was only a few feet away
from the crypt when she was knocked down to the ground. One of the vampires
sat on top of her while the other stood over them. She was face down in the
ground. "You killed my brother tonight, Slayer, that was a bad mistake."
He picked her head up by the ponytail in her hair and slammed her head
down. Buffy managed to turn her head at the last moment so only the right
side of her face smashed into the ground. Then she felt the heaviness of
the vampire get lighter and lighter as Spike pulled him off of her.
She
got to her feet and the second vampire lunged at her. She fought side by
side with Spike. The two vampires were strong and pissed off, so the fight
lasted a while. But of course, Spike killed the vamp he was fighting and
the Slayer killed the one she fought.
The side of Buffy's face was scraped
and bleeding and Spike was holding his right arm to himself.
"Are you
hurt?" she asked Spike.
"It will pass."
He started to walk towards his
crypt.
Buffy called after him. "Thank you, Spike"
Spike stopped but did
not turn and said, "Yeah, well I was in the neighborhood." He started to
walk away and stopped again. "You're bleeding, you should go home and get
it cleaned."
"I, I was wondering, could, I err, have some more
water?"
Spike turned towards her and said, "You can have all the water you need, Slayer."
He handed her the bottle of water from before and then
opened another. He poured some water onto a cloth he had and began to wipe the blood off of her face. She looked up at him wide eyed. Spike looked
back into her eyes.
"What happened to your arm?"
"Bloody fool tried to
stake me, but I turned in time. It's just a scrape." Spike replied.
"Let
me see," said Buffy.
She reached towards him and to his surprise, lifted up
his t-shirt. He put his arm up and she slid the t-shirt over his right arm
and up over his head. The scrape was deep, but had already begun to heal. It was just over his heart and extended to his upper right arm.She took
the wet cloth from his left hand and started to wipe at the wound. Spike
sucked in a breath. It was not from the pain, but from Buffy's
touch.
She wiped off the dried blood and started to look for a bandage, but Spike took hold of her hand. He put his hand in her hair and undid what
was left of the ponytail.
He ran his fingers through her soft hair and then
drew her head to his.
He kissed her deeply and she moaned as her clothed
breasts touched his naked chest. She put her hand around his neck and
pulled him in closer. The deep kisses continued.
Then Spike lifted his
head and put his lips to her neck. He kissed her neck several times and
then went to her ear. He whispered with passion, "I want you
Slayer."
Buffy answered him by pushing him away gently. He started to say something but she put her finger to his lips and told him, "SSshhh."
He
watched her in silence as she removed her blouse and then her bra. He did
nothing for a moment, just watched her and then ran his blue eyes over her
face, her neck, her breasts. Buffy felt the heat from his gaze and she
said, "Spike, touch me."
That was all he needed. He took one breast in his
mouth and after a while he took the other. He teased her with his tongue and
then nipped lightly at her nipples. The sensation made her head start to spin.
She threw her head back and gave into the passion. Spike undressed her from the waste down. He went to the chair and grabbed a blanket that had been hung over the chair. He waved it in the air and then laid
it on the ground. He picked Buffy up and then laid her down atop the
blanket.
He continue to pleasure her with his mouth. Down her body, then up her body, then down again. He stopped for a moment and hit the telly and it switched off, plunging the crypt and the two of them into darkness.
Buffy gasped.
"Give into the darkness with me, Buffy, give
into it." Spike
whispered.
She opened her eyes and stared into the darkness and gave herself into all that Spike was doing to her. He was between her legs now, still using his tongue and she moaned and rocked her hips. How did he know all the right places? How did he know just what she wanted, when she wanted it? She pushed the questions from her mind and gave into the pleasure.
She was so warm, no hot, so hot as Spike lifted her
slightly and put both his hands under her butt and continued to use his
tongue. She moaned and moaned, and then called out to him. "Don't, don't,
Spike, please don't stop."
Was that her voice? Was that her pleading
with Spike? But it didn't seem to matter as she climaxed and screamed in
total pleasure. Darkness burst into color and then darkness again. She was
warm and safe and she felt her body start to calm and relax.
After a
little while she opened her eyes. She could only see the outline of Spike
who was still sitting between her legs. She knew he was watching her, but
he said nothing.
She was covered with sweat and tried to sit up, but she
could not. "No pet," Spike whispered in a deep dark voice, "I am not finished yet."
He was on his knees and he lifted Buffy to him. She was
limp in his arms and he laughed sweetly into her ear. She could feel his
erection against her leg as her legs were around his waist.
He kissed her
and nipped at her breasts again. She could not believe it but her body was
again responding to him. She could not believe how much she wanted him, how
much she wanted him again, now. He was still on his knees, and he lifted her
up a bit and then onto him. He plunged himself into her, but stopped the
movement once he was deep inside.
She opened her eyes and looked into
his. He said, "Tell me Buffy,
tell me."
She shock her head no, with what
little strength she had. He smiled
at her warmly and moved his hips. She
gasped.
"Tell me Buffy," he said again, "tell me!"
"I, I want you Spike, I
want you!" She started to cry, but he rocked them back and forth at first
slowly and then he rocked with force.
She moaned and cried out and then
whispered sweet words to him. Then she whispered, "William."
He
climaxed a moment after she did and he laid them both down on the blanket.
An hour later Buffy awoke and found herself on the blanket
with another blanket over her. Spike came to her and handed her a bottle of water.
"Thank you."
He nodded to her.
"Do you know what time it
is?" she asked him.
"It's a bit after 2 am."
"I have to get home!" Buffy
said.
He nodded to her.
They dressed. Spike turned to Buffy and said, "Mind if I tag along, gotta get some smokes. Forgot to get them when I was out earlier.
"Sure." Buffy said.
They walked along in silence and Buffy
watched as Spike walked next to her in the night. He really belong to this,
to the dark places.
And it was very dark tonight as there was no moon. He
seemed to breath in the darkness of his surroundings and it gave him power.
It seemed to her that he was more sensual tonight than ever
before. Sooner than she liked, they were in front of her house.
He looked
down at her and then took her chin in his hand and lifted her head to him.
He spoke, "I know how hard this is for you, I know it scares you, pet. But
I am in the same boat. Every time the water level gets high and I can't
bail out anymore water, you throw in a life saver, and I begin to hope that
I won't drown."
Buffy went to speak but he shock his head.
"I love you
Slayer, and however bloody wrong it is, I can't stop what I feel." He let
go of her chin and it seemed his shoulders drooped.
"I'll go now," Spike
continue, "but I want you to know that touching you, feeling you around me,
having you in my arms in the dark, is the best bloody feeling in the
world."
He smiled weekly at her and turned. He walked away, disappearing into the darkness.
There was a tear in her eye and it fell to her check.
She suddenly felt all alone. All alone in the darkness. And the darkness
was no longer a friend.
"Spike!" she called, "Spike!"
He stopped in
his tracks and turned. He walked slowly back towards her.
She was
peering into the dark, trying to see if he was there and then
he was.
She
put her arms around him. "I can't give you all that you want. I don't know
if I will ever feel all the things you want me to feel..."
She was sobbing
and he put her arms around her.
"...But I don't want you to go. Please,
don't go."
Spike thought he felt his heart beat.
She took his hand and led
him up the few steps to her front door. He stopped a moment and said, "But
Willow and Dawn are there. Asleep, but there."
Buffy put her finger to
his lips and said, "SSshhh."
She closed the front door behind him and then
led him up the stairs to her room.
She opened the bedroom door and he
looked around amazed. He had never been welcomed into her room before.
She closed the bedroom door and turned the key to lock it.
There was a
small lamp on beside her bed. She turned off the light and sat on the edge
of her bed.
Spike moved slowly to her.
She reached out her arms to him and
he knelt before her and she held on to him. She pulled him close to
her.
"Spike," she whispered, "take me back to the dark places."
