buffy summers and parker abrams
First, we set the scene. The love of Buffy’s life, Angel, has just left town, breaking her heart. She then starts university, Willow loves it and immediately clicks, along with Oz who has done gigs there in the past and has plenty of friends. Buffy doesn’t get on with her roommate, Kathy and within a few days of her leaving home, Joyce has already filled her bedroom up with crates. Buffy bumps into Parker, feeling slightly alone and vulnerable, when she cuts in front of him in the line at the cafeteria, hiding from Kathy. He shows her how to use her dining hall card, to get the most food out of it. They depart at the end of the line, telling each other which halls they are living in.

Buffy returns home later, to find Parker chatting to Kathy. He gives her a box of heavy duty small plastic bags, to help her steal food from the dining hall.

Buffy and Willow are hanging at the Bronze, later. Buffy is watching Parker through a mirror, who is playing pool.

Willow: "Buffy's looking at Parker. Who it turns out has a reflection, so big plus there. Buffy's having lusty wrong feelings."

Buffy: "No I'm not."

Willow: "No, you're not."

Buffy: "Oh, I so am."

He then walks her home, talking all the way. He asks her about the scar on her neck (from Angel) and she tells him an angry puppy did it. He reveals to her his father died last year and they talk about living for today, Buffy says she can relate after dying in a drowning incident. He asks her to go to a party with him the following night, to which she says yes and they are about to kiss when Willow and Oz show up.

The next day at the party, once again Buffy has to leave when Spike and Harmony show up, but she returns to him. They dance, before returning to his dorm room, where they sleep together.

Buffy wakes up the next morning to an empty room and finds her clothes. Parker comes back in the room with coffee. She asks him if he has any plans for that day and he replies his mum is visiting, he then promises to call her and they kiss. She returns back to her dorm and tells Willow happily what happened.

Buffy spends the next few days checking the phone over and over for messages, before spotting him on campus talking to a young, blonde girl. He introduces her to Katie, who then leaves. Buffy asks him what’s going on and why he didn’t call.

Buffy: “Parker, did I do something wrong?”

Parker: “Something wrong? No, of course not. It was fun didn't you have fun. Watch out how you answer that. My ego is fragile.”

Buffy: “You had fun? Was that all it was?”

Parker: “What else was it supposed to be?”

He leaves before Spike shows up, with a special ring to grant him immortality. He taunts her about Parker and Angel, before Buffy pulls the ring off him and he has to flee.

She later tells Willow her fears, that there is something repulsive about her.

Buffy: “So what I'm wondering is, does this always happen? Sleep with a guy and he goes all evil.

God, I'm such a fool.”

Willow tells her it isn’t her, Parker is just mean, but Buffy doesn’t take much notice and leaves depressed.

She spends the next few days in a funk, and fantasises about saving Parker from vampires and him begging her for forgiveness.

Buffy goes to Xander’s new place of work, a bar, and gets drunk with a bunch of frat boys to try and drown her depression.

Willow spots Parker in the pub and goes to talk to him to give him a piece of her mind.

Willow: “She shared something very intimate with you. And you act like it's nothing more than a bag of some kind of snack food”

He eventually says he is sorry Buffy is hurting, then tries to feed Willow the same lines he fed Buffy, who reacts in disgust.

Meanwhile, the beer Buffy is drinking has a spell in it to make her turn into a cave girl, along with the people she was drinking with. They go back to the bar, knock Parker out and set fire to the place. Buffy arrives at the bar and saves Parker from the fire and in return he apologises to her.

Parker: “Buffy I…I dunno how to say this. I'm sorry for how I treated you before. It was wrong of me and I'm sorry. You were great tonight, really. I might not deserve this but do you think that you could forgive me?”

She replies in the best way possible. She knocks him out with her club.
