"Hey, Will. Where's the Buffster?" Xander asked as Willow sat down across from him. They were at a cafe in downtown Sunnydale.

"She has a little...business to attend to," Willow said, grinning.

"What do you mean? A demon?" he asked. "Something big that requires Cheez doodles for thought process?"

Willow rolled her eyes. "No, Xand. She went to LA to find Angel."

"Angel? Dead boy? Why the hell why?" he asked, groaning to himself. The last thing he needed was Dead boy. Well, actually, the last thing he needed was Fish boy, but that was besides the point.

"Oh, come on, Xand. You can't hate Angel forever. And think of it this way. Would you rather have Riley?"

Xander nodded his head in agreement. "I guess you're right. About Fish boy, I mean. I'd rather have Dead boy then Fish boy. He's annoying as hell."

Willow nodded in agreement. A couple of weeks ago, she felt differently. Riley was a nice boy. Well, after a few weeks, where you wouldn't see Buffy for days at a time, Willow had quickly agreed with Xander, Spike, Anya, and Giles. She had tried to see the bright side of things. Then she discovered something-there was no bright side.

So what had Willow done? Decided to make Buffy happy. Preforming a spell that would send Buffy dreams about her soul-mate. Then, she performed a curse, one to make Angel's soul permanent.

"So, does this mean we'll be seeing Dead boy a lot more often then usual?" Xander asked as the waiter put down his food.

Willow nodded. "Yup. I wonder where Buffy is right now........"

Buffy sped down the high way in her mom's car. It had taken about 20 minutes to convince her mom to lend her the car, but it would be all worth while in the end.

Finally, she thought as she sped down the exit ramp leading to Angel Investigations.

She parked the car on the side of the road, got out, and locked it. As they walked by her, people kept giving her strange looks. She wondered why, but walked through the front door of Angel's apartment.

"Buffy!" Cordelia said as she walked throught the front door. "It's good to see you!" Cordy ran up and gave her a hug."Is there a big demon on the loose or something? Cause they all do the same thing. Crush. Kill. Destroy the world...." she paused as she glanced at Buffy's outfit. "Did you run out of clothes or something?"

Buffy looked down. "Oh shit!" she exclaimed as she saw instead of a regular outfit, her Snoopy pajamas.

"Anyway, where's Angel?" she asked quickly, glancing around the place. Cordelia looked her in the eye. "There isn't some major demon is there? I think someone came down here to....what shall I say.....snag a honey?" She walked over to her desk and picked up her purse. "I'm going to go to Starbucks, maybe to lunch. Have fun," she said briskly, giving Buffy a wink as she passed her. "Angel's down stairs."

"Thanks," Buffy said, not even realizing Cordelia had left already. She walked down the stairs, somehow knowing that was the way. Angel was sitting on the couch, reading a book, probably something old. His back was turned to her.

But that thought was quickly demolished when he turned around, sensing someone behind him. "Buffy."

"Hey lover," she said, smiling, and then threw herself over the couch, landing right next to him. "Did you miss me?" she asked, laughing at his surprised expression. She kissed him on the nose, and then laughed at that reaction even more.

Angel, meanwhile, was still getting over the shock, that a) his old lover was here, b)she was in a good mood, not anything like the other times she'd been here, and c) she had kissed him. Not really kissed him, but kissed him enough to be called getting kissed.

"Buffy? What are you doing here?" he asked as she settled herself on the couch.

She gave him a hurt expression. "Thanks a lot."

"I didn't mean - you're always welcome here, but what.....?" he started, looking at her.

Buffy laughed. "I came here to see you. I've decided we should get back together. What do you think?" she asked casually, putting her feet on his table.

"What do I......are you.....are you drunk?" he asked her, "because you're being way to casual about this."

"Oh am I?" she asked. "I merely suggested we get back together. Is that a problem?" she asked, and then walked into his kitchen, and went into the fridge. "Do you have anything to drink in here?"

"Buffy," he said as she came back over with a diet cola, "are you ok?"

"Of course I am. I just came to a realization this morning, and I'm going to go through with it. You have a problem with that? Cause if you do......." she said, motioning toward the stairs. "I'll leave."

"I....."

Come on, Angel, Buffy thought intensely. She wasn't going to just leave. He'd better say yes.

He gave her a lop-sided grin, which promptly melted her into jell-o. "I like it."

Buffy gave him a surprised look. "What?" he asked innocently. "I agree with you. But are you sure you want to be with me?"

"Screw a normal life. And you'd better not be stubborn again. You're not leaving me whether you like it or not."

"Gotcha. But Buffy....seriously....."

She glared at him. "Stop turning every conversation we have into a big thing. We're getting back together. Live with it. Or is it die with it? (AN: I made another joke!! HAHAHAHA!)"

"Oh, Buffy. My....curse.....Willow..............she must have done some thing. It's permanent."

"Who....what....where......Angel are you sure?? I mean, of course you are...." she babbled.

He grinned, and then kissed her. Soon, the kiss turned passionate. "What about Cordelia? She might get a little suspicious."

"She's gone," Buffy said between kisses.

"Wait." He pulled back.

She sighed. "Angel.....if this is about my normal life.....so help me God...."

"No," he said. "But before we.......well...." he started.

"What?" she prompted.

"Before we...you know......did you go bankrupt? Because I mean.....I heard pajamas were comfortable, but I'd never expect they were a fashion statement."
