I look at you sometimes.
You don't know I'm there.
I look at your face, at your soft, smooth hair.
I wish you could know.
Know how I feel.
If you knew, I wouldn't have to hide,
All my feelings could be outside.
And you would finally understand,
That I'm in love with you.

Yours is the first face I long for in the mornings,
My last words before I sleep are, "I love you,"
But you don't hear me.
You shrug it all aside, you easily deny,
Some part of you knows, I see it's true.
Will I ever have the strength?
The strength to reveal my feelings to you?
I don't know if I can.
So many doubts here in my mind,
Would you reject me; or would I be able to claim you as mine?
Can I ever give you this poem, or just tell you straight-out?
I don't think so, but I can say it to myself, and not feel like a fool,

I love you.
