Prologue:

" Happy Birthday!" chimed Amethyst, Serena, Felicity, and Elizabeth. It was Ivy's birthday and they had come over to celebrate. They walked in and put the presents on the table. All day, they watched B/A episodes. They also talked about the worst topic, Riley.

" He's stupid and ignorant," said Amethyst.

" He and Buffy have zero chemistry," said Serena.

" He can't even fight," said Felicity

" He looks like a fish," said Elizabeth

" He's not Angel," said Ivy. Everyone agreed, that was the worst of all.

The next topic was Joss Whedon.

" He's on acid," said Serena.

" He's gone psychotic," said Ivy.

" The Finnatics have brain washed him," said Amethyst, and everyone agreed that had to be the reason.

After lots more talking, snacking, and fun, they decided to eat cake. They brought in a large chocolate cake with the words ' HAPPY BIRTHDAY IVY!' and, in slightly smaller letters, ' Buffy and Angel 4-ever!' Then, the ritual singing started.

' Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Ivy,
Happy Birthday to you!'

" Blow out the candles," said Felicity.

" Don't forget to make a wish!" Serena exclaimed.

' Alright,' thought Ivy, ' I wish we could get Buffy and Angel back together'. She took a deep breath and blew out the candles. Before anyone could clap, a large swirling hole appeared. They screamed and tried to run, but they were too slow. All five of them were sucked into the hole and thrown into another world.

Part One:

The next thing they knew, they were in a strangely familiar apartment.

" What happened?" Serena asked in a whisper, " Where are we?"

" Oh my God!" Elizabeth exclaimed quietly, " We are in ANGEL'S APARTMENT!"

" It's not even real, but we're here." Amethyst said in awe.

" I wished we could get Buffy and Angel together," said Ivy , " I guess it took me literally.

All of a sudden, a very naked Angel appeared out of the shower. All five girls turned to stare at him.

" Wow," they said in unison.

" Who are you? How did you get here?" he asked, moving to get a towel.

" I'm Ivy, this is Amethyst, Serena, Felicity, and Elizabeth ." she said pointing to each in turn. " And I'm not exactly sure how we got here."

" I'm Angel," he started, but Amethyst interrupted him.

" Oh, we know who you are."

An hour later, Angel was fully dressed, Cordelia and Wesley had arrived, and the shippers had told their basic story.

" So lemme get this straight," said Cordelia. " You five are from another dimension in which we're a TV show. And you got here because of some wish which you refuse to tell us, right?"

" Yup," they chorused.

" Well it might be helpful in getting you back home," said Wesley.

" I'm not gonna tell. I refuse," said Ivy.

" What about you girls, do you know, will you tell?" Angel asked.

" Nope," said Amethyst

" Not gonna happen," said Serena.

" No way," said Felicity.

" What wish?" said Elizabeth.

" Fine," Angel said with a sigh. " You're only making it harder on yourselves."

All of a sudden, the phone rang. Cordelia picked it up saying, " Hello, Angel Investigations, we help the hopeless. Oh, ok, bye."

" Who was it?" asked Wesley, " New evil?"

" Huh, oh, no, it was just a wrong number." All of a sudden she started clutching her head in pain. Angel moved forward to help her while Wesley got the aspirin.

" What was it?" Angel asked as soon as she had taken the pills.

" It was a big blue thing with horns. It was at 567 4th street. It had hostages."

" Wesley, you come with me. You girls stay here," Angel ordered them as he left.

" How long do you think they'll be gone?" asked Felicity.

" I dunno., might be a while." said Cordy absently.

" Do you mind if we go downstairs?" Serena said hopefully.

" Sure, whatever, I'll be up here," was Cordy's response. One by one, the girls filed down the stairs.

" So, what should we do?" asked Amethyst.

" We have to make my wish come true," said Ivy.

" But how?" Elizabeth asked looking at the others. At once, they knew.

" The Oracles."

Part 2:

The five girls were standing in front of the gateway for lost souls looking a little confused. They had found a map and gone through the sewers so Cordy wouldn't catch them.

" So what do we do know,?" asked Felicity.

" Do we have gifts?" asked Amethyst.

" Well, I have a locket," said Ivy.

"I have a bracelet," said Felicity.

" I have a ring," said Serena.

" I have earrings," said Elizabeth.

" And I have a watch," said Amethyst. " Ok, I guess we're covered."

" We've gotta remember exactly what Doyle did that day," said Serena suddenly.

" Oh, oh, I remember what to do," exclaimed Elizabeth. She reached behind the little bowl and pulls out some herbs. She puts some of the herbs in an urn and says, "'We beseech access to the knowing ones.." Then, she puts a lighter to the urn and it fills with high flames. The arc glows and fills with light.

" Alright," said Ivy, " I guess we go in."

One by one they filed in the portal, and when they were all in, the glow died.

"Come before us, lower beings," said the male oracle

"What have you brought us?" asked the woman.

" I brought a locket," said Ivy.

"I brought a bracelet," said Felicity.

" I brought a ring," said Serena.

" I brought earrings," said Elizabeth.

" And I brought a watch," said Amethyst.

Their gifts flew out of their hands and into the hands of the female oracle.

" Wonderful," she said examining each gift.

" Why are you here?" asked the male oracle.

"We need your help," said Felicity.

" With what?" asked the female, the gifts mysteriously gone.

" We don't belong here, I thought you would have known," said Ivy sharply.

" We do," said the male oracle. " We know of your wish and we know how to return you to your own dimension."

" How?" asked Elizabeth.

"Your wish must be fulfilled," said the female simply.

" But how do we get Buffy and Angel back together. I mean he's still a vamp and there's the whole soul thing.." said Amethyst.

" It is being taken care of," replied the male offhandedly.

" What do you mean?" asked Serena not liking the tone in his voice.

" The demon Angel left to fight captured him. He is being taken care of." He answered.

" What do you mean??" asked all five girls at the same time.

" The demon shall torture him, and, in time, all will be well," answered the female.

" WHAT!!!" shouted the girls.

" Only when Angel forgives himself, can he become human. He is the only one who has not forgiven him. When he does so, he will be redeemed," said the male simply.

" But does he have to be tortured to do that?" asked Ivy.

" It is the only way," answered the female.

" But what'll happen after Angel forgives himself?" asked Serena.

" You will go to him, and bring him here," said the male absently.

" How will we know where to find him," asked Amethyst.

" We will send Cordelia a vision when the time is right," said the female, turning around to walk away.

" Wait!" shouted Elizabeth, " How are we supposed to get back home when this is done?"

" When all is done, all will be revealed," said the male oracle, " Now go, and do not come back without the warrior." He waved his hand, and they were gone.

Part 3

After getting back to Angel's apartment, they had discovered that Wesley had just returned. They had released the hostages, but Angel had been captured.

" What do we do?" asked Cordelia panicking. Although she'd never really said it, Angel was a really great friend for her.

" Calm down Cordy," said Ivy.

" Yeah, don't worry, we'll find Angel," said Felicity.

" But how will we know where he is?" asked Wesley.

" Cordy'll get a vision," said Serena simply.

" What!!!!" exclaimed Cordy, " How do you know?"

" The Oracles told us," replied Amethyst.

" You went to the Oracles?" asked Cordy, slightly panicking.

" Yeah, they told us what we needed to know, it's taken care of. Don't worry," said Elizabeth.

" What do we do know?" asked Wesley.

" We wait," replied Ivy, sitting down.

" Well the mighty Angelus is fallen, and look how pitiful he is," said the demon. It was a kerral. Very brutal during torture, both physical and emotional.

" Why are you doing this?" asked Angel.

" Why not?" the demon spat. " You release my hostages, and you try to kill me. Not to mention it's fun. You of all people should know that Angelus. I mean you are, wait, were the legend. The most vicious vampire of all time, and now look at you, pathetic. I'd have expected more, I mean you killed at least, what, 500 people, maybe a thousand, and now you can't even drink human's blood! What happened to you? Wait, I know, the slayer." Angel winced and the demon saw this action. " But you tried to kill her before, why not now?"

" I would never hurt Buffy," growled Angel.

" But you did, " the demon replied. " You stalked her, tormented her, killed her friends, you probably never even loved her. You just wanted her dead, like the demon. There's no starting and ending between it and your pitiful soul. They are one, both are evil."

" You're wrong, I love Buffy, I always have, and I always will. I would die if she was killed," Angel said angrily.

" But you hurt her, didn't you?" taunted the demon. " You told her that it wasn't a night to remember, that you didn't really love her, and you tried to kill her at least twenty times, what do you mean you would die if she was killed? You would probably dance on her grave!"

" NO!" Angel shouted, " I didn't do any of those things, I would never do that to her! It was the bastard of a demon inside of me! I would never intentionally hurt her! It was him, for everything, it was never me! I love her!" As soon as Angel said these words, the demon started to shiver and shake uncontrollably. Then, it exploded, and Angel floated gratefully into unconsciousness.

After Cordelia and Wesley had pumped the girls for information, they had all settled into an uneasy silence. All of a sudden, Cordelia clutched her head in pain. Images of Angel and where he was flashed through her mind along with a major migraine. When it had stopped, she gratefully took the aspirin Wesley offered her and stood up.

" I know where he is," she said, " It isn't far, but it is underground. We'll have to take the sewers."

Wesley nodded while the girls looked at each other. Then, as one they said, " Let's go."

Cordelia and Wesley hesitated and then nodded. " Fine," Cordy replied, " let's go."

Part 4

They found Angel unconscious on the floor of the room.

" Angel?" Cordelia asked worriedly. " Wake up. Angel please wake up."

" Cordelia?" Angel asked rather groggily.

" Oh good, you're conscious, what happened?" she asked.

" The demon was torturing me, and then, suddenly, when I told it that the demon committed all those crimes, and not me, it died. Then I passed out. Next thing I know, you're here. How did you find me?"

" Very painful vision," she answered. By this time, Angel was sitting up. He finally acknowledged the presence of the five girls.

" What are you doing here?" he asked them, starting to stand up.

" We came to help find you," said Felicity.

" We also have orders to bring you to the Oracles ASAP," said Serena.

" The Oracles?" Angel asked, " Did they tell you that in you r vision?"

As Cordy shook her head, Elizbeth said, " we went to go see them so they could tell us how to go back to our own dimension."

" You went to see the Oracles alone, and the let you in!" Angel replied incredulously.

" Yup, and they told us to bring you there as soon as we found you. They want to talk to you, to help us get back home," said Ivy.

" Not that we would mind staying here," muttered Amethyst under her breath, so quiet that only Angel could hear.

" Well," he said, "you belong in your dimension, and we belong in ours. We better go to the Oracles right now."

They stood in front of the Gateway to Lost Souls once again, only this time, Angel was with them. He had insisted that Cordy and Wesley stay at the office. He had wanted the girls to stay too, but they had absolutely refused.

" They told us to bring you, and that's exactly what we're going to do," replied Ivy indignantly. The other girls had immediately agreed, and there they were, ready to go in.

" I need a gift," said Angel suddenly.

" I don't think so Angel," replied Amethyst.

" Yeah," agreed Serena, " I mean they said they wanted to give you a gift, not the other way around."

" Alright," said Angel, moving to do the ritual.

" No way," said Elizabeth, startling Angel, " I did it last time, and I want to do it again." She walked over to the little basin.

" You know how?" Angel asked.

" TV, remember. We saw everything, even that ' forgotten' day. We saw the ritual, and everything," said Felicity.

" Everything?" he asked , his eyes wide.

" Well, maybe not everything, " said Ivy.

" Alright, lets go," he said.

Elizabeth reached behind the little bowl and pulls out some herbs. She puts some of the herbs in an urn and says, "'We beseech access to the knowing ones.." Then, she puts a lighter to the urn and it fills with high flames. The arc glows and fills with light.

" Ladies first," said Angel gesturing, and they walked in one by one, with Angel following them into the Oracles presence once more.
