Wishes Can be Reality

Disclaimer: I own nothing, not ever the faerie, she belongs to herself. Oh and I think the SPORK belongs to Serena or Felicity, well not me anyway, although I am a very proud to be a sporker.
Authors note: This is an incredible silly fic in some places. But read it anyway, some of it was really fun! Watch out all you Riley and Kate fans, they come to a sticky end!
Dedication: This is for one person and one person only. Kathryn, for you, happy birthday. Hope you like your fic. Below is the handy little form I asked her to fill in.

Is reality really real?
Does it exist for everyone differently?
Or is reality only what we make of it for ourselves?
We all see the world in a different light, how do we really know that what one person perceives is the same as what you perceive?
These concepts are difficult to take in, but for a moment, think of the possibilities, belief is only the first step in changing you life, how it's changed is up to you. And ultimately, this time, it's up to me, a fan. Did you know Fan is short for fanatic?::crazy-smile:::

****A higher plain of existence.****

"She loves him." The voice was calm and melodic.

"That makes no difference. Their paths have been chosen. Fate has had the final say." He replies equally calmly.

"I will not accept that. Fate has not always ruled completely. They have free will." She asserts more forcefully.

"Without belief, freewill means nothing, you know this. They believe in fate, destiny, that their lives have been mapped out for them. Once on this path, they will not deviate."

"Belief. Then they will have to believe." This said with certainty and confidence.

"You are not permitted to interfere. The powers would be displeased. Forget about them, fate will watch over them."

"But Fate is jealous, she has never known love, she sees all emotions as signs of weakness, she uses them to shape lives, destroy happiness. The souls of millions are in danger, only they can save them. Together they are stronger. Apart they are but shadows of themselves, existing from day to day, night to night, never challenging what they call fate. Should they not be given the chance to believe? Should they not be able to make their own decision." The other oracle watched his sister with concern,. She became too involved in these mortal affairs.

"They are not lower beings, it does not go completely against the rules, there are loopholes to every curse." She reminds him with a smile. He has never refused her anything, she knows he will give in.

"Very well, you may interfere a little, but you can not appear before them or bring them here. If they do not accept what you say, leave it be."

"Thank you, this time things will be done properly, you will see, you have made the right decision." She cast her hand in the air and a sphere of energy which lit the nothingness and cast shadows appeared. She studied the events unfolding on the mortal plain. In a little suburb in Australia, she found just what she was looking for, Kathryn, half faerie someone that knew the pain love could bring, and one who would be able to set things to right.

**Sunnydale.**

Buffy sat at the window, watching as the sun set on the horizon. The golds and oranges and yellows danced on the ocean. It was beautiful to behold, peaceful. It was the beginning of night, of her life really. She rose from her seat and grabbed her hunting bag and withdrew a few stakes which were carefully concealed on her body.

"How do you manage to hide so many of them slayer? You'd think the amount of cloth or lack there of would make it difficult. Just think, a skirt a few inches longer could double your concealment capabilities." Spike smirked as the slayer glared daggers at him, wishing she could stake him and get it over with. But if truth be told she liked Spike, he wasn't like any other vamp she had met, he still possessed some of his humanity, and for all the bad ass attitude, he was funny and interesting.

"Bite me!" She retorted sharply, then her tone softened mockingly.

"Oh, that's right, you can't." She smiled sweetly at him as his eyes glowed gold.

"Lets patrol then." He said defensively.

They walked towards the cemetery, both alert for any creatures of supernatural origins. Spike walked beside the slayer, mentally cursing the little prick that had caught him and put this chip in his head. He was fed up with the way he had to rely on the slayer and her Scooby Gang for blood. The day he got his hands on the GI Joe wanna be, he'd spork him to death, slowly...

Suddenly a woman appeared before them, she lit the surroundings for a moment and then smiled at Spike before turning her attention to Buffy.

"Hello Buffy. Do you believe?"

"Believe what?"

"In fate."

"Yes. I resigned myself to it a long time ago."

"Don't, fate is only what you make of it yourself. Belief is everything, make your own destiny. Including your past, that can be your destiny."

"My past? I don't understand.... How can it be my destiny."

"It can be your destiny if you want it to be and if you keep your promise."

"What promise?"

"To remember, slayer, to remember."

"Remember what?"

"That would be telling, why don't you ask him?"

"Who?"

"Search your soul Buffy, the answers just have to be made. If you believe in something enough, you will succeed. Dreams can come true...." The she turned again to Spike and softly kissed his cheek before disappearing.

"Wow that was a major high, 'aven't felt like that since the seventies." He said, touching his face. When she had kissed him and bolt of energy flowed through him, making him europhic.

"Spike, what is going on, what was that?"

"A farie, the good kind, she must 'ave been sent to give you a message."

"You don't say." She bit out sarcastically. What had it meant, believe? Believe in what?

"Come on slayer, best get to Giles, maybe he'll know what's going on." Buffy looked at Spike and shook her head, he never ceased to amaze her.

LA.

"Angel, can we talk?"

"Sure, come on in Kate, what is you want?" He asked as the blond detective stood at his office door. In the background Cordelia sat glaring at the other woman, for some reason she had disliked the police detective on sight, he still wasn't sure why.

"Angel, I've been thinking, we've known each other for a while now...... would you like to go out to dinner some time, get to know each other better.?" She asked him, smiling at him with confidence.

"Kate I don't think that's a good idea, we have a good working relationship, I don't want to jeopardise it." Her face fell for a moment than regained her composure.

"Ok, that's fine, it was just a thought." She smiled thinly and made her good bye. She stood out side the outer office pressed up against the wall and tried to stop the tears from flowing. She was sure he would be interested in her, after all she was a beautiful woman, with plenty of experience and education. He should be interested in her...... Maybe she would give him a little more time. Just then a muffled laugh came from the outer office as Cordelia started giggling hysterically. Kate listened to see what was going on.

"Delia, please, what's so funny?" a confused Doyle asked his girlfriend.

"She is, as if he would ever go out with her when he's still in love with Buffy. He'll never get over Buffy, he loved her from the first moment he saw her and never stopped. Kate is deluding herself. Can't she see that he's not interested?"

"Delia, she doesn't know about Buffy,....." Doyle said with a cocky smile.

"That's still no excuse, I mean I got the message pretty quick, how was I supposed to know he'd fallen for her, she was just some little girl from LA to me. I didn't know then what I know now. I had no idea about the real world, or just how important she was. Did you know it took me whole year before I found out who Angel really was? What he really was. Then when I saw them together, really looked and saw, what I did see took my breath away Doyle. The love they shared and still share was beautiful. I've never seen a man look at a woman the way he does at Buffy. The way he gazed at her and their eyes locked... It was as if they were trying to burn the memory of each other in their very souls. And it worked, every woman he looks at is measured against her, against perfection, it's the same for her even if she is trying to move on it'll never work, she'll love him till the day she dies. Every other love I've ever encountered just seems to fall short. They were so lucky Doyle, they found each other, they found their soul mates, how many people can say that?"

"I don't know Delia, I don't know." Doyle's voice dropped a little, he thought he'd found his soul-mate with Delia, but she .....

"Except maybe us of course, but then we don't have the whole forbidden love thing going, but what we have is pretty special, all the same. I love you Doyle, even your spiky green face!" she winked him, then grinned as she slipped into his lap.

"You know you totally have to get some self esteem Doyle, don't you know how special you are? You're my hero, always. Sure Angel might have the big, I'm a dark avenger look, but you do your part too, you're brave and considerate, and you treat me better than anyone ever has in my whole life. I don't know what I did before I met you."

"Ahh, Princess, you lit up my life the day you were thrown into that car, I never knew what hit me."

"It was my $600 Versaci shoes."

"Oh, right... and such pretty feet that were in them too........" Cordy silenced him with a kiss.

Outside in the hall Kate stood against the wall, her anger for some unknown little chit of a girl that had Angel's heart, growing inside of her. It was pretty obvious what she had to do, find out about this Buffy and make Angel realise that she was no longer for him, that Kate was much better.

Angel's office.

Angel sat in his chair, silently looking at the picture he had pulled out from his desk drawer. It was a picture of he and Buffy just before her seventeenth birthday. She looked so happy and carefree, so did he, but that was before all the horror had started. Memories of how it had felt to be in her arms, her body wrapped around his, the sound of his name on her lips, they were like a physical eternal pain in his body and soul. For a day they had almost overcome all the darkness in their lives and found the light. Only one day together and it had been taken from her, she didn't remember. He sighed and shook his head in resignation as he put the photo back in the drawer.

Angel rested his head against his hands and closed his eyes. He drifted off for a moment into a strange sleep.

In his dream a faerie appeared, she was dressed in a little red dress with three quarter length sleeves and her hair was pinned up on her head.

"Faerie"

"Hi, you can call me Kathryn, but my point, oh yeah, she loves you and she didn't really forget, but you have to believe."

"Believe?"

"In love, in what has happened and what can happen. Do you believe?"

"Yes, I believe in love."

"But do you really believe in the future enough to change it? Destiny..... It doesn't always have to be. So many believed that it would never work between you two, Xander, Willow, Giles, Joyce, you believed that you and Buffy couldn't work, so did she eventually, do you know why you believed that."

"Because it was true, we can't."

"Who says? There's no such thing as fate..... people make their own destiny, but things that you expect to happen, happen."

"What do you mean?"

"You knew that you and she would make love..... It happened. You felt as if you didn't deserve her, as if you would be punished and you were... You lost your soul. You thought you would end up apart...... And something pushed you to make it happen.... You are apart. You always believed that the clause was still in the curse, but was it? What do you want to believe?"

"I don't understand... are you telling me that if I believe the clause is not in the curse it won't be? There is no way for me to find out anyway..."

"Is that what you believe, just because no one told you about the re-cursing you can't find out about it? Angel, you believed that the clause was still there, yet no one tried to find out if the spell had been altered? You accepted what fate told you without an argument...... You can always change fate Angel, it's a matter of belief, in order to have the destiny of your own choosing, you have to believe............"

Angel sat up in his chair as he jolted awake. That dream was so vivid the faerie said Buffy remembered, but that I had to believe..... The curse, the clause isn't there, that's what I have to believe. I have to believe that until otherwise proven.... Willow must know, but she would tell me if the clause was lifted wouldn't she? He had to go to Sunnydale, tonight.

Sunnydale.

"Giles, this is freaking me out, who was that being? The message sounded important, she told me that I had to believe in the past to remember it or something..... she said I had to ask him about it....."

"Buffy, from what you've told me the faerie was very cryptic, did it say anything that you felt was directed at you, did it make sense in any way, no matter how insignificant?"

Buffy sat on Giles, comfortable old sofa, her legs curled up against her chest. There was something about what it had told her, about a promise....

//I'll never forget, I'll never forget..//

Her dream that she had been having. No it was impossible, for some reason ever since she had come back from LA she had been dreaming about she and Angel making love, about them being together, happy. But it was just a dream right?

// If you believe in something enough, you can succeed. Dreams can come true.."//

Her dream was true, or it could come true.... There was something elusive in her mind that wouldn't come to the surface.

// "your past can be your destiny."//

Suddenly her mind was filled with images and feelings. *"I love you", a table breaking under them... Cookie dough fudge mint chip ice cream.... Eating in bed, laughing, making love to him, falling asleep to the sound of his heart beat.... I'll never forget... It's not enough time...*

'Oh god, it was true, it was true...... Angel why did you let me walk away, I feel like I'm going to die from this pain, we were together, I was happy, we both were, I have to go to him, to LA. I promised I'd never forget.

"Buffy.... are you alright?" Giles asked with concern, his slayer had gone as white as a sheet, her complexion drained of blood. She looked up at him with pain filled eyes, her soul was being ripped apart, he could see it in her eyes.

"Giles.... I remembered something... When I went to LA... Angel, he was human, we made love...... I thought it was all just a dream, but I remembered, it wasn't, they made me forget. I have to go see him, now." She rose to her feet and started for the door.

"Buffy, wait, explain this to me first. Don't just go rushing off, you're in no fit state to drive. No buts, sit down and try and think calmly.... What made you remember?"

"The message, that's what it was about..."

"Why would she want to make you remember?

" I don't know, but I have to talk to him about it, get him to explain. The faerie told me that my past could be my future, I know it was referring to Angel and I being together, it must have, it's the only way, don't you see Giles, I have hope, and I have to believe in it, this is not a time for giving up and letting nature or anything else take it's course." She stood adamantly, her face full of determination. Giles knew it was useless, but he made one last plea.

"Buffy, at least call Angel, let him know you're coming....... It will only take a moment?" She looked at him and sighed in defeat.

"But I'm still going!"

As she reached for the phone it rang, picking it up she smiled as she heard the cheerleader's voice. "Cordelia, hi."

"Buffy, is that you? Boy do you want to know what's happening down here. I just found a note from Angel, he's on his way to Sunnydale, said something about a dream....... He must have left about half an hour ago, he should be there within the next twenty minutes."

"Thanks Cordelia, I was just about to come up there, it's easier if he comes here though, bye."

She put the phone down and turned to Giles and explained about what Cordy had told her.

LA.

"Delia, where's Angel?" Doyle asked as he came through the office doors carrying a bottle of whisky wrapped in a brown bag. She looked with distaste at the bottle and then smiled at her lover. In the hallway outside, Kate was once again, eavesdropping.

"As we speak he's on his way to Sunnyhell. He left a note, something about strange dreams. Here.." She said, tossing him a piece of note paper.

"Hmm, this looks like the work of the Oracles to me. It's a mite strange though, they never concern themselves in mortal matters." He said looking slightly puzzled.

"Well it's not as if he's mortal Doyle, neither is Buffy, they're supernatural beings, I guess if you look at it logically its allowed, you know a loop hole in the law? My daddy was good at them, but not good enough, he got caught."

Kate frowned in puzzlement, not mortal, what was going on? Supernatural?

"Surely he won't make it there by Sunrise?"

"I think he'll just make, although it'll be cutting it pretty close. I let Buffy know he was on his way. I think she's remembered though, about that day they had together. I hope everything works out for them."

Kate thought for a moment, Angel was in Sunnydale, the little town was only a few miles down the coast, a quiet little town with no problems. It was time she had a vacation, why not go and follow Angel at the same time. It would also give her the opportunity to piece together the puzzle that was Angel Callahan, and get rid of once and for all, any competition.

Sunnydale.

Buffy went to her house, her mom should be home right now, but she had to go and get her cross and wedding ring. She and Angel, although he had never told her, were married. She had only found out by accident a few weeks ago that the ring was a wedding band to his people. When she had, she had been too caught up in her pain of Angel's not arguing with her about seeing each other and forgetting, that she had simply put it down to another unimportant piece of her life. Now that ring meant the world to her, she had to get it and put it back where it belonged, just as she had to get back where she belonged, in Angel's arms.

"Mom, are you here?" She called as she came through the door.

"I'm in here Buffy, your boyfriend was just asking me for your hand in marriage." Buffy headed towards the lounge, thinking that Angel had come to ask her moms permission, then when she rounded the corner she saw the thing of nightmares, Riley Finn. He was sitting by her mother, gazing adoringly at her.

"He's such a nice young man Buffy, I'm glad you met him, you both have my blessing, he's so much better for you than that Angel person."

Buffy started in shock at her mother and at Riley. God they had hardly even kissed properly and he was asking to marry her? Was he insane?

Note:(Need we really ask this question folks? After all who in their right mind would want Riley? And in his right mind what would ever make him think Buffy could love him?)

"Riley, what the hell is going on? I don't even like you! Why on earth would I marry a fish with the dress sense that came strait from Village People? And mom, you have no right to make any comments about Angel, I love him, I'll never stop and I wouldn't marry Riley if you paid me!"

Joyce paled and then grew angry.

"Buffy Summers, you will do as you are told and marry this nice young man, I will not have you seeing that vampire!" Her face suddenly split down the middle and a chaos demon took her place. Reacting on instinct Buffy grabbed a spork from the table and launched herself at the demon.

"How long have you been in my mothers place?" She asked as she drove the large and dull ended spork through the thing that had been her mother moments before and used it to pin her to the wall. Joyce screamed in pain as fiery sparks shot through her, this was no ordinary spork she realised too late, it was the sacred Spork of death, blessed by the SPORKER's.

"You never had a mother, slayer, you were an orphan!" She said in her last breath, in an attempt to through more chaos into the slayers life.

Buffy shook her head in shock, her mother had been a chaos demon, bent on destroying the slayer through making her life a mess, this was all her mothers fault. Now she knew why Joyce had never been close to her, she had hated her.

Riley stood looking decidedly unfazed and just a little angry.

"You loved a vampire?" He asked his face showing an expression of disgust for a moment, then he masked his feelings a little and grabbed Buffy's hand with his big sweaty paws.

"Don't worry, Buffy, we'll just take you to Maggie and let the initiative de contaminate you, everything will be fine, then we can get married."

Buffy was almost numb with shock, but then she suddenly burst out laughing.

"Marry you? Be de-contaminated? Riley, where do you come up with these things? And for your information, I'm already married, to a vampire. What did I ever think I saw in you, was I blind?"

A sudden flash of light and then Kathryn, faerie extrordanaire, appeared.

"Not blind, just a spell used by your mother to make you accept the inferiority of fish face here. It wore off completely when the demon died."

"Who are you?"

"I'm Kathryn, a faerie, well half anyway, my normal life is spent working my poor tired feet off to get through uni and become a lawyer, in my spare time I try and help those in need, such as you and Angel, you remembered, which is why I can now come and let you see me properly, also I was hoping to find Spike,....."

"Right here, pet, what you want with me?" He asked as he came through the door.

"I thought you might want to know who put that chip in your head. It was him." She said gleefully pointing at Riley.

"Also, if you want to torture him , I'm more than willing to help." She offered.

Spike grinned evilly at her and a slow smile spread across his face as he took in the appearance of the red head in front of him, there was more to this faerie than met the eye.

"You know, luv, that sounds like a very promising idea." She grinned back at him, then threw herself into his arms and kissed him passionately. Breathless, she pulled away and turned back to Buffy.

"Just one more thing, Buffy, Willow knew that the curse on Angel didn't have the clause in it, she wanted to make sure you and Angel didn't do the deed again, I think she was jealous or something, she found out a few months." Kathryn said sighing as Spike ran his hands over her body, completely ignoring the fact that Buffy was watching with little amusement.

"There's no curse?."

"Yup, no curse, The Oracles decided to put all things to right in Sunnydale and started with that, but Willow, as always, was interfering in things that don't concern her, she decided she knew what was best for you, she's been pushing you in Riley's direction ever since. Willow is just so annoying, I mean she gives everyone else all this advice, and she can't even keep her boyfriend on a leash, jeez..... Spike... you know we really shouldn't do that here, we have .....people to torture." She whispered the last part and reluctantly detached herself from Spike. He gently kissed her forehead and then wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Slayer, you don't mind if me and Kathryn have a little fun with fish face do you?"

"Huh? No, sure, use the house..." Buffy told them dazedly, then ran from the house, heading for Willow's.

"So pet, what do we do with him?" Spike asked looking towards Riley.

"Well, I know these people who have used sporks in torture, but we have to be careful not to use the flaming spork of death, that one kills too quickly and we want to make him suffer for what he did to you," she said gently rubbing the back of his head at the same time as using her faerie magic to ease the chip from his skull. Quickly she whipped her hand away and then handed Spike the chip,.

"Is that the bloody thing that's been in my heard for the last month?"

"Uh huh, now you can do your worst to Riley here. Still need some help?" she asked pleadingly.

"Of course I will pet, but first we need to find a non lethal spork, pity we don't have someone to experiment on." Just as he said this Angel came through the door.

"Spike," he said surprised, then took a double take when he saw Kathryn.

"Aren't you the...."

"Yeah, ten points for observation. Hey, could we experiment on your tail?"

"What?"

"The woman that's following you, oh and Buffy's over at Willow's, maybe you should go see her."

"Sure, thanx, I will."

"Oh, Kate, come here." In the bushes Kate stared in horror when she realised she had been discovered. Peeking out she saw a red head beckoning to her. Carefully she stepped from the bushes and entered the house.

"Well, now we have our lab rat we can get on with it, test everything on her before Riley, that way we won't kill him too quick, nice thinking luv." Spike said as he and Kathryn advanced in the screaming detective tied up next to Riley. From dawn until dusk the next day, the screams of two souls in pain pierced the air all over the street, no one took any notice, after all this is Sunnydale.

Willow's Dorm room.

"Willow!" Buffy stormed into the room they shared, her eyes flashing with anger.

"Buffy, what's wrong?"

"What do you mean, 'what's wrong', you should know, you're what's wrong Will, you don't have any idea what I'm going through. You had no right not to keep it from me." Willow's face drained of colour and she sank to the bed, her face a mask of calm, inside she was terrified.

"Buffy, I was just trying to help you, I didn't think you needed anymore pain, you and Riley are so good together he's good and kind and..."

"And a complete idiot, Shut up Willow, you don't know what you're talking about. You don't even know me. You don't understand me, you never have and you never will. I'm the slayer, I've seen things you can't even imagine. You have no idea how it feels to be a hunter and the hunted, no idea of the love I feel for Angel, no idea of what it means to know you'll die young, to know you'll probably never have children. You don't know what it's like to wake up every day and move about doing things on auto pilot, not really living, just existing. You have no idea, or understanding of what it feels like to love someone so much that no other person can take their place. I've tried to move on, I even dated Riley because you thought it was best for me. Well I'm sick of it Willow, sick of the pretense and smiling even when I want to cry. I want Angel, I want to be with him, spend my life with him and know he's going to be there with me every step of the way. I'm not really me without him Willow, you had no right to keep this from me."

"Buffy.. I..... I'm sorry, I had no idea, I only did what I thought was right. I should never have interfered. The curse, it was different from the first one, Miss Calendar deleted the clause out of it, you and Angel can, you know, get pelvic without having to worry about his soul, he's stuck with it, forever."

Buffy left and headed out towards the park, just as she was getting there she bumped into a man, not even realising at first who it was.

"Angel." She breathed.

"Buffy!" he stared at her, longingly, she was beautiful, a little thin, but beautiful.

"Angel, we.. The curse."

"I know.. this"

"Faerie, goes by the name of Kathryn, she told me... To believe, to believe in us, not in fate, but in the future we can make for our selves."

"Angel, you are my future, you always have been, I never stopped loving you, never stopped wanting you, needing you. I found something out today, my mother wasn't really my mother, she was a chaos demon."

"What? Then that means,.. Buffy she came to see me and told me to leave, just before the prom, that's one of the reasons I left... How could I have been so foolish?"

"Angel, don't blame yourself, she even had me fooled, I mean I thought she was my mother. I killed it, and I don't even feel as if I've lost anything, just as if a great burden was lifted. I never want us to be a apart again Angel, I can't survive without you."

"Neither can I, Buffy, will you marry me?"

"I thought I already was married to you.." She held out her hand, showing him the ring, Kathryn had tossed her as she left the house. Her claddagh ring, the one had given her two years before.

"I found out a few weeks ago.. promise me you'll never leave me Angel, ever?"

"I promise, forever, I'll never leave you, that's the whole point."

He took her in his arms and held her to him, she clutched his arms and sobbed quietly into his shirt. For the first time in months she felt safe and at peace. He had promised, and he always kept his promises, just like she did.

"I didn't forget Angel, I remembered. I felt your heartbeat, It sang me to sleep. But that doesn't matter to me, it's your soul I'm in love with, we could have been together all these years and we didn't know it, why didn't anyone think to check the curse?" "We might have lost a few years of our life here Buffy, but we have eternity to be together. From this day on, my soul is bound to your, when you die, so will I, in this life and the next life, we'll never be apart. I love you Buffy Summers Callahan."

"I love you too Angel Callahan, forever."

The Oracle looked on approvingly and smiled knowingly at her brother. "I just have one more thing to put right."

"What is that?"

"The happiness of all the warriors. The watcher is unhappy, I must give him love."

Giles House.

"knock, knock"

"Giles, the door went." Xander managed to breath out before Anya attacked his mouth again.

"Xander, I want to have intercourse now! Giles won't mind, will you Giles?" she cried to the confused watcher who was opening the door. He opened the door, looking at Anya.

"Anya, there is a bedroom, you know." he turned to the door to see who was there and stopped in alarm and surprise.

"Jenny? I must be hallucinating... it can't be you."

"Why not? It's me Rupert, I've missed you so much, the Oracles asked a faerie to grant each of their warriors one wish, and she did so. Your wish was to have me back here, alive. And that was my wish too."

Giles gathered her into his arms and held her. They were both crying.

Xander and Anya looked over at the door and Xander gasped in sock.

"Hey, that's Miss Calendar... But she was dead."

"It's alright, she's been given her life to make up for the pain she's caused, and from what I gather, there is a wish faeire around here somewhere."

"I love you Anya, even if you were a demon, I love you, I just wanted to tell you that, but I didn't know if you loved me, you probably don't."

"Xander, I do love you, more than anything, I never realised how good love could be, I didn't understand how it made the world seem so much brighter... I thought you didn't love me. I wished that you did.. The faeire, she must have given us both the courage to find the truth, to tell each other how we felt, that was my wish, that you loved me."

"So this faeire made me love you?" he asked, a little disturbed.

"No! She can't make love where there is none, together has to be love in your heart before she can make you claim it. I'm so happy, now can we make love? We could go up stairs." Xander grinned and then lifted her in his arms and headed for the bedroom.

Willow's dorm room.

"Hey."

Willow was sitting on the bed, quietly crying. Then a knock sounded at her door she looked up to a purple haired guitarist.

"Oz?" Willow whispered in disbelief.

"Yeah, I don't know how to be without you... I love you Willow, will you take me back?"

Crying tears of joy, she lept into his embrace and kissed him.

Three years later.

The Bronze was booked for a private party. There was no band just a DJ. Around the room were streamers and lights. It was their anniversary of theday all their wishes came true. Xander and Anya, were still as crazy about each other as before, only now they had an adorable little boy to show for their love. He was two years old and his name was Michael. Giles and Jenny, sat with their two month old twins, Vivian and Victoria, they were identical and the most good natured babies. Cordy and Doyle were also there, Cordy was pregnant with her first child and was acting very strangly, she was placid and calm and didn't complain about anything the whole night.

"You know Doyle, maybe you should get her pregnant more often." Xander quipped.

"Nah, I like my Delia just the way she is, my princess. That razor sharp wit of hers always gives you a run for your money. Wouldn't want to miss that for the world." Doyle replied. He and Delia had moved to Sunnydale when Angel had. He and Delia had married and they had all quickly became friends with Anya and Xander. Cordy and Xander still bickered, but it was amusing for everyone to watch, and they loved each other really.

Willow and Oz weren't there that night. He was on a tour with his band and Willow as always went with him.

As for Angel and Buffy. They had two adorable children. Keirin and Megan. Megan, at three was a handful, but very eager to help her mom look after her baby brother. They couldn't have been happier. Every year since they had all got back together, they had celebrated this day, as their anniversary. They all wondered on occasion what had become of Spike and the faeire he had went off with.

"Pet, did I ever thank you for giving me my wish?" Spike asked his wife.

"Many times, luv, many times." Kathryn replied and snuggled closer to him under the silk sheets.
