Pairing/Couple: Buffy/Angel and general couples
Summary: Angel and Buffy are together again. It's all fun and fluff. Cordelia, Gunn, and Wesley have showed up in Sunnydale due to Cordelia's paranoia. Again, it's just fluff and stuff. Sequel to "Nowhere and Everywhere" and the fifth in the "Spinning Into Infinity Series".

Buffy decided she was done cleaning...not that she had really done anything. But still. She just wanted to have a nice day...one that was especially wonderful due to the presence of Angel. And it was time to start...or, more accurately, commence it.

After a quick kiss or two, they reentered the living room to find everyone comfortable and talkative...even the LA Gang. They fit right in...two of them foreign to the concept of the Scooby Gang. Well, Wesley was aware of it but he had never really been a part of it.

They were doing some introducing actually. Seeing as how there was a few new members of the Scooby Gang and an unknown addition to the LA Gang as well. "So now you're into girls? What, you couldn't have been gay before you stole my boyfriend?" Cordelia asked sarcastically, still bothered by the fact that Xander had cheated on her with Willow.

"Have I ever told you how really really really sorry I was for that?" Willow said, scrunching up her face a little at the reminder of her deceit. It had led to problems with Oz as well. And things had never been the same for any of them.

"Then again, knowing Xander, he's probably the one to turn you off to men forever." Cordelia shot, somewhat reverting to her high school self. She could never help herself around Xander. She just always needed to insult him. And she knew the feeling was mutual.

"Cordelia." Angel said, catching her attention. She looked at him, his stare conveying not to start.

"Sorry." She said putting her hands up in defense. "But he started it."

Angel rolled his eyes. Right. Okay. "I seriously doubt that."

"Well he did." She said surely. "And why are you taking his side? You don't even like Xander and even if you did, you like me way better."

"Are you four?" He asked, an eyebrow raised. She just couldn't let it go. She always had to say *something*.

"Maybe." She stuck her tongue out at him.

He looked at Wesley and Gunn, trying not to laugh at Cordelia's actions. "How much coffee did you guys let her drink?"

"Coffee? Well, I wouldn't say a lot." Wesley started, Gunn finishing his thought.

Gunn smiled slightly. "Unless you consider, you know, six cups a lot." He said, making sure to muffle the word six.

"Six? It's not even noon yet." Angel pointed out. It never ceased to amaze him how much she could consume in such a short period of time. For such a petite girl, she could eat a lot sometimes.

"Well, if you were up all night worrying about a certain someone, you'd drink a lot of coffee too. A person can only take so much stress before they need a lot of caffeine. It helps, trust me. Well, you wouldn't know cause you're not a person but still."

Angel and Buffy walked further into the living room, to the only empty seat that was present. The same one Buffy had vacated not long before. It was a small arm chair in the corner of the room near the fireplace. He offered her the seat but she insisted he sit instead.

Before she had a chance to take her seat though, the phone rang. "I'll get it." She told everyone, not that they were moving. They had all become pretty comfortable and the phone just seemed far. Plus, it was Buffy's house...well, hers and Dawn's but still. "Hello?" She said into the receiver.

"Buffy. It's Giles." His British voice came on the line.

"Oh, hey, Giles. What's the what?"

"Well, I'm just calling to make sure everything is alright."

She rolled her eyes. "We didn't jump into bed after you left." Angel nearly choked on his coffee. Buffy tried not to laugh. "That's what you're worried about isn't it? I mean, otherwise, why would the guys be here so early this morning except to make sure everyone was still fully-clothed and all that. Or why Cordelia drove all the way down here."

"Buffy, I didn't mean to..." He wasn't sure what to say. He didn't want to intrude on their privacy or anything but he just had to be sure. These weren't exactly normal circumstances.

"I know Giles. And it's sweet that you care really. I appreciate it. But you really don't need to worry. Everything's under control. Hands all accounted for and clothes all currently being worn."

"Well thank you for that little bit of information." He said sarcastically.

She laughed slightly. "You're welcome."

"I heard from your mother today."

"My mother?"

"Yes. She was calling to check in. She wanted to make sure everything was going alright."

"What did you tell her?" She asked, hoping he hadn't said anything about Angel yet.

"Nothing to get you in trouble I assure you." Giles told her, aware of what she was thinking.

"I knew there was a reason I loved you Giles." Well, at least that wasn't an addition to her list of worries that she was trying to push aside at the moment.

"Good-bye Buffy." Giles said, rolling his eyes.

"See you later." She said, hanging up the phone. "Okay, everyone be quiet. I have to call Mom." She dialed the number to the hotel that Joyce was staying in, asking for her when the concierge answered.

"Hello?" Joyce's voice came over the receiver.

"Hey, Mom. It's me."

"Buffy?" She immediately grew concerned. Why was her daughter calling? Had something happened? Was Dawn alright? "Is something wrong?"

"No. Everything's cool. I was just talking to Giles. He said you called."

Joyce almost sighed in relief. She always got nervous leaving her daughters home alone. It wasn't that she didn't think they were capable or responsible enough but that she just always worried about them, no matter how old they were. She knew that Buffy was the slayer and everything but she knew how dangerous Sunnydale was so she still worried about the two of them. "Oh, yes. That's right. I did."

"Well, I just wanted to tell you myself how fine we really are. I mean, yeah, so neither of us can cook. But I've seemed to have made friends with the delivery boy from the pizza place down the street." She joked, earning a jealous glare from Angel. "But I have a feeling we won't have to be eating out anymore."

"Excuse me?" Her mother didn't understand what she meant.

"I just meant..." She actually meant that Angel would most likely, if she had her way, be doing the cooking until Joyce came home. But she didn't think it would be such a good idea to tell her about the renewed relationship over the phone. It was more of an-in-person kinda thing that Angel should take care of. She was a coward. Yes. "Well, I meant that, well you know...I was gonna take a cooking class?" She tried, hoping it would sound plausible enough.

Joyce knew she had obviously missed something. "A cooking class?"

"Well, yeah. Cause I did so good with that Thanksgiving dinner last year when you were out of town and I thought maybe I could learn how to actually cook and you know I gotta go now. Plans with Willow. So I`ll see you tomorrow." She inwardly groaned at her pathetic cover-up.

"Actually, I'm going to be delayed a few days. There were some complications with work. I won't bore you with the details. I won't be home until at least Wednesday. Will you two be alright by yourselves until then? I could call Giles-"

A huge smile broke out on Buffy's face. Seeing as how today was only Saturday, she was exceptionally elated that her mother wasn't going to be home. She could spend some more time with Angel before she had to inform her that he was back in her life. "Really? No, we'll be fine. We'll be just fine. Don't worry." She tried to keep the glee out of her voice.

"But if you need anything, you'll call Giles." Joyce had never been gone this long before. It was a cause for extra concern.

"Yes, Mom. I will call Giles if I need anything. But we'll be fine. I could always call the delivery boy if I need anything. I'm sure he'd be glad to help."

"Buffy."

"I'm kidding. It's a joke. You're too easy sometimes. Besides, I think he's into Dawn."

"Buffy." She repeated, her tone the same as before.

"Again, I'm joking. Alright, I'll talk to you later. Have a nice time." Buffy hung up the phone after saying good bye, a smile on her face. She walked over to where Angel was sitting, taking a seat on his lap as was her plan before.

"What are you so happy about?" Angel inquired upon her the blonde's glee.

Buffy shrugged. "I don't know. It could be a number of things. Maybe it's the fact that Mom has extended her business trip. She's not coming home until Wednesday. You know, as in four whole days from now."

Angel raised an eyebrow, smiling as well. "Really? That's interesting."

"I thought so."

Cordelia rolled her eyes. Now she was going to have to stay for even longer. Angel would undoubtedly be staying at least until Joyce came home. "Great. So I guess we're all staying then."

Buffy glanced at her. "Huh?"

"Well, if Angel's staying, then I'm staying which means they're staying." She informed the blonde slayer, her face one of resolve. Wesley and Gunn sighed. They knew it was no use arguing with her. They were apparently staying as well.

"It will be just like old times." Xander said, sarcastically happy. Old times with Cordelia meant bickering and name calling. It was an ancient ritual with them. A reflex almost.

"Yeah. It'll be fun." Willow said optimistically. She knew there could be some tension but she knew there should also be fun as well.

And with that said, their next week's fate was sealed. They would all spend it together, catching up on each others lives and continuing into the future. Most importantly, Buffy would finally be happy. Her gloomy days were over. She would now live in a day without rain. Several days, actually.

She deserved to get what she wanted for once. And since Angel was it, they were all glad he was back and with her. They wanted her to be happy just as they were.

Buffy looked at Angel thoughtfully. "Who's Rebecca Lowell?" She asked, Cordelia having mentioned her earlier.

The End
