A finger points
And words are said
The silence broken
Another dead

A true friend's heart
Weeps fresh tears
The guilt will last
For years and years

Like automatons
Emotions are contained
And we carry on
With efforts strained

I had the chance
But did not act
I wish my hesitation
I could now retract

But what darker clouds
On the horizon lay
That I have caused
By my own delay?

We shall soon see
What else is planned
As we're lead away
By destiny's hand

But as for now
It's on grass we stay
As immersed in earth
The price that other's pay

The marble stands
With tattooed name
And though it's not said
I am the one to blame
