Teaser:Buffy and Angel talk and other things

Buffy plopped down on the couch after laying Logandown. "I never knew arguing with a two year old couldbe so tiring." She muttered as she laid her headagainst the back of Angel's couch. She started whenshe heard a chuckle behind her.

"Are you talking to yourself now?" Angel asked fromhis place at the bottom of the stairs.

"No!" She denied. "I was just....Yeah okay so I wastalking to myself."

"Thought so." Angel said walking over and sittingbeside her. "So are you feeling better?" he asked ashe pulled her into his lap.

"Much better." She replied as he kissed his way downthe side of her neck. She relaxed against him. "As amatter a fact...I was thinking of moving back to myplace?"

Angel stopped kissing her. "Why?" he asked stunned.

"Well, because I'm not hurt anymore so I don't reallyneed your help and besides I'm just in your way and Ido need to get back to work."

"You're never in my way Buffy." Angel said strokingher cheek. "And I was thinking that maybe you couldmove in with me?"

"Angel what exactly are we?" Buffy asked changing thesubject.

"What do you mean?"

"Are we a couple? Are we just friends? One day we'llbe completely cool around each other and then...thenext we're kissing...and I'm just soconfused....and..." She was cut off by Angel's lipscovering her own. She abruptly pulled away as he beganunbuttoning her shirt. "Angel we can't." She whisperednear tears.

"Shhh," he soothed. "It's permanent."

"But how?" She choked out.

"Remember when we tricked Faith by pretending I wasAngelus?" She nodded. "Well, Giles' friend made mysoul permanent then. I didn't tell you because I stillcouldn't give you the normal life I wanted you tohave. I couldn't take you out into the sun. Or giveyou children....but now...now we have Logan and I hidthe Gem of Amara. I still have it. So...will you movein with me Buffy?"

Tears streamed down her face and she couldn't speak.Finally she nodded before capturing his lips in afiery kiss. He returned as he swept her up in his armsand carried her to his bedroom. Closing the doorbehind him.

"I love you." Angel whispered as they lay wrapped ineach other's arms.

"I love you more." Buffy teased.

Angel kissed her gently on the forehead as he strokedher back. "I think maybe we should get dressed beforeLogan wakes up." he mumbled into her hair.

"Mmmmhmmm" she whispered cuddling closer to him.

He laughed. "That would mean right now, sweetheart."he chuckled.

"So what do you say to a picnic lunch tomorrow at thepark?" She asked, looking up at him.

"How about we move you in first."

She smiled at the thought as the two climbed out of bed and began dressing.
