Buffy swiveled around once again, looking into the mirror. She smiled at herself, truly proud of her tremendous work. She hadn't thought it possible, but in less then a month's time she had managed to lose all her excess fat from childbirth; and it was just in time. Summer was finally here.

She still just couldn't believe it, she had never expected to be back at her old petite size, and yet here she stood in her old periwinkle bikini looking just as good as before she had children.

"And you thought I spent too much time in front of that thing." Angel smirked, startling his wife from her thoughts. He went over and placed his arms around her waist.

Buffy turned around so she was facing him, and smacked him playfully on the arm. "That's 'cause you do spend to much time in front of this thing." She said, a sly smile playing on her face.

"Yes, but what could I do instead that would be equally as fun? You must remember I have not seen my reflection in ages." He smirked mischievously.

"Angel you've seen yourself in the mirror everyday for the last 4 and a half years, and I could think many things that would be much more fun. Buffy replied, bringing her lips up to his, giving him a tender kiss.

"Mmm, this is definitely fun." Angel replied, as the two broke off their kiss needing air.

"Just kiss me." Buffy said sweetly, as the two lovers engaged in a battle older then time itself. The kisses soon turned from sweet and tender to very heated and passionate, as the lovers made their way to the bed, hands roaming and caressing.

Buffy moved her hands down to Angel's belt buckle struggling to undo it. At that exact moment a scream erupted in the small house. Buffy and Angel immediately stopped what they were doing, long enough to give each other a knowing glance and took off down the hall.

As they made their way into the newly furnished room, they say a small blonde dangling what Spike liked to call a "chew toy" over the infants head who was currently residing in the crib. Hearing the door open, the small little blonde turned her head, looking directly at her parents. She smiled up at them innocently waiting for their reactions.

"Lindsay, what have we told you about coming in here?" Buffy asked patiently from the doorway.

"Momma, he was sad." Lindsay replied with great confidence.

"Sweetie, he needs to sleep, that's what little baby's do." Buffy answered. Making her way to the crib so she could pick up the screaming infant.

"Momma, he was sad. He wanted me to play." She said holding up the small teething ring. "Okay, well how about you and daddy go get you dressed so we can go to the beach." Buffy said smiling, she couldn't help it her life was perfect.

Lindsay picked up the small blue pacifier and ran out the door, before Angel had time to comprehend what was going on and react. Looking over towards Buffy, who was currently preparing to change Calvin's diaper, he sighed and headed off to find the blonde bundle of energy.

*~*~*

They had done it, and with twenty minutes to spare. Lindsay was dressed in her new Scooby Doo bathing suit and a light pink sundress with her jellies. Calvin wore small overalls and a white cotton tee shirt underneath. Buffy in her periwinkle bikini and a cover-up, Angel wore surprisingly a white cotton tee and swim trunks with a crazy Hawaiian pattern on them.

Buffy looked her husband up and down repressing the urge to laugh.

"What?" Angel asked innocently, as the trio made their way over to the door.

"Nothing, are we ready?" She said, focusing on anything but the shorts. "I've got Calvin's stuff in here, Lindsay is carrying her stuff, aren't you my big girl? Buffy cooed. "And you've got our stuff. I'd say we're set." She finished beginning to walk out the door.

"Buffy." Angel said, stopping her in her tracks, "Are you sure we aren't forgetting anything?" He hinted.

"No, we got every-" She stopped immediately, bringing her hand to her mouth, "Calvin!" She shrieked.

Angel laughed as his wife made did the 10K marathon into the boy's room. Making her way back, this time Calvin in hand, she once again did a double take, making sure they had everything. "Okay let's get going." Buffy said, she couldn't believe she almost forgot her baby. and Angel sat there laughing!

"After you milady." Angel smirked.

"That was not funny, and you know it." Buffy scowled, and punched him on the arm jokingly. "Mommy almost forgot you, didn't she sweetie." Buffy cooed at the little infant, looking at his small form, his big hazel eyes, and the light brown hair that was beginning to grow.

The little boy gave a yawn and snuggled deeper in the carrier.

*~*~*

"Where's my little pumpkin belly" Dawn asked, as Lindsay ran towards her aunt.

"Mommy forgot Calvin." Lindsay screeched happily, as she jumped into the now sophomore at collage's arms.

Dawn looked up quizzically, as Buffy and Angel made their way over to where the gang had set up perch. "Care to elaborate?"

"It was nothing, I don't know what she's talking about." Buffy grumbled. "So how is school going?" She asked a few moments later, hoping to change the subject. "School's great. you know the usual square building filled with boredom and despair." Dawn answered.

"Love your trunks Deadboy." Xander said, giving him a goofy smile.

"Would you please not call me that, obviously I'm not dead." He said through gritted teeth, "And what's so wrong with my shorts?" He asked looking down at them, he honestly could not see what was wrong.

"Nothing, Xander has a pair just like them." Anya piped up, cheerfully from Xander's lap. "He likes them a lot."

At this, Angel's face drained of all color. Everyone tried their best not to laugh, Buffy however broke the silence and laughter soon roared over the beach.

Lindsay cuddled up into her father's lap, playing with the hem of his bathing suit, "I like daddy." She smiled up at him.

Angel kissed the top of her head, squeezing her closer to him. "What do you say we go play in the waves?"

Lindsay's deep brown eyes grew huge in excitement. She threw the sundress off over her shoulders, and bounded off towards the shore.

Buffy took off after the small child, as Angel rummaged through the Little Mermaid back pack, looking for the sunscreen and her floaties.

Buffy and Lindsay made their way back to the group slowly, every couple of seconds bending down to pick up a interesting looking shell, only to throw it down shortly after.

"Look Aunt Willow." Lindsay said, showing the witch the purple shell that had an odd shape to it.

"Yes that's very pretty." She took the shell Lindsay had offered her. Setting it back down next to her.

"Come here sweetie." Angel called, squirting some of the slimy substance in the palm of his hand. Rubbing the liquid onto his daughter's shoulders, and belly, and legs, and back, and finally her face.

"Yucky." She complained, trying to wipe the substance off. Crumpling up her nose in disgust.

"Let's go play in the water?" Angel suggested getting her attention off the freshly applied sunscreen.

"Carry me daddy." She said holding her arms up, for Angel to grab her.

She placed her head on the crook of his shoulder as Angel took the floaties from Buffy and carried his daughter to the shore.

*~*~*

Buffy, Willow, Anya, and Dawn lay basking in the afternoon summer's heat. Every now and then, attempting for some small talk. Calvin lie in his carrier under a blanket next to Buffy sleeping peacefully, every now and then waking up demanding attention of food. Xander and Oz had taken off shortly after Angel and Lindsay to go play in the water.

As the three men and the child made their way back up to the shore a couple hours later, all four completely soaked and covered in sand, after Lindsay had insisted on burring them. Smiled at the site they saw before them.

Angel had set Lindsay back down on the ground, and slowly made his way up to his sleeping wife. Placing two strong and sandy arms around her he kissed her temples. Causing her to jump up in surprise.

"Angel!" She shrieked, "You don't do that to people." She finished with a smile.

"Then what, I stomp? Yodel?" He asked playfully.

At this the three other women awoke. All a little dazed and confused as to where they were until conscious thoughts once again returned.

"What time is it?" She asked, ignoring his previous comment.

"It's around lunchtime." Angel answered.

"Yeah, and have two very hungry children." Oz joked.

Buffy looked over at Calvin, who was sleeping peacefully, then gave a confused look over to Oz.

"He means Xander." Willow said laughing.

"Well, after we manly men start the grill the dog's and burgers should be done in no time flat." Xander said, giving a grunt.

Causing the girls to roll their eyes.

*~*~*

Twenty minutes had passed; the three guys had yet to light the grill.

"It's broken, we had to pick the spot with the broken grill." Xander concluded, after one more feeble attempt to light the grill.

"Ignis incende." Willow said, from her spot in the sun. Immediately the grill became a blaze of flames.

"Willow check you out. Witch-fu." Buffy said, smiling.

"That's my girl." Oz beamed.

"Hey, how'd you, hey." Xander stammered on. He had spent the last twenty minutes. and Willow just went. and now there was fire.

"It's no big, you just have to balance out the elements, so when you affect one you don't wind up-" She was cut off, by the sudden downpour of rain.

Everyone grabbing towels blankets children, and other personal items that were lying down on the beach. As they made a dash for their cars.

"I didn't do it! I didn't do it!" Willow screamed holding some papers she had been reading for her recent court case over her head, shielding herself as best she could from the rain.

Lindsay sat in her father arms clapping, and smiling at the grown-ups.

*~*~*

Buffy and Angel had finally made it home, stopping by with Dawn briefly, the family said their hello's to Joyce and Giles, who had just married a couple of months ago. They caught up on the latest happenings, and current events, being the dutiful daughter and son-in-law; before excusing themselves, and going home.

Now the family was home, and completely drenched.

"Well that was certainly a big finish to our day." Buffy joked, good naturally to her husband. As she stripped Lindsay's clothes off her. Setting a dry Calvin on the table, Angel took his shoes and shirt off.

"Go upstairs and mommy will turn the bath on for you, okay sweetie?" She told Lindsay.

Lindsay stopped by the table, and gave Calvin a kiss on his cheek, and giggled as he made a gurgling sound in return; before she finally made her way to the bathroom, to go get her bath toys out.

Buffy came into the bathroom, turning on the bath water, sticking her hand under the faucet to check it's temperature every once and awhile. "Okay you can play for a few minutes and then mommy's going to come and wash your hair." Buffy told the child.

"Uh huh." The child answered, not really paying attention to her mother, as she made the mermaid Barbie doll, swim through the water trying to escape the big bad yellow duck.

"You'll never catch me!" She made the doll say in a high pitched voice. "I'm going to cast a spell on you." With that she dunked the duck under the water, making dying sounds.

Giggling she brought the mermaid to her face, only to throw it back in the water with the duck, climbing out of the tub she began to wander down the halls, sitting on her butt, she wiggled her way down the stairs, to the kitchen.

Seeing Calvin still on the table, she climbed on the chair, and peeked into the carrier. "You don't want this. You're a big boy." She said, pulling the small pacifier out of his mouth. The boy made a few crying sounds kicking his feet around, before yawning and falling back into his bliss, too tired to pick a fight with his older sister.

Lindsay smiled and placed the pacifier into her mouth, running to the family room to go look for Mr. Bear.

*~*~*

Buffy walked into the bathroom a few minutes later, finally out of her soaked clothes and into a pair of flannel's and a white tank. "Okay Lindsay." She trailed off, seeing the tub empty except for a few toys floating in the water.

"Lindsay." She screamed.

Angel came bounding in through the door. "What happened? Is she okay?" He trailed off seeing the empty tub, "Where is she?"

"Lindsay." Buffy screamed once again.

Both parents waited silently for a few seconds, finally hearing the soft thumps and squishing noises, as the wet child made her way up the stairs, clutching the big brown bear to her side.

"Momma, Mr. Bear was scared." She managed to say, although muffled from the pacifier that still lay in her mouth.

"Sweetie, give mommy the boppy. That's Calvin's, remember you're a big girl, you're four now." Buffy replied showing four fingers, bending down to the child's height, she placed her hand out, so Lindsay could drop the pacifier into her hand.

"No, Momma this is mine. Calvin said he didn't want it." Lindsay said with great assurance. Moving back from her mother.

"Aren't you a big girl though? Big girl's don't use boppies." Angel chimed in.

"No, I am baby." She said, sitting herself down in a corner, with a pout.

"But baby's don't get to chew gum, only big girls do." Buffy went on, "Are you sure you still want to be a baby?" She placed her hand in front of the girl once again, holding out her hand.

After some thinking, Lindsay took the pacifier out of her mouth, "I think that Calvin should have this, 'cause he's just a baby. I am big girl, 'cause I chew gum." She smiled proudly.

"Now, how about my very big girl, gets back into the tub, and mommy will help you wash that sand out of your hair." Buffy suggested.

"Momma," Lindsay said smiling innocently up at her mother, "Since I a big girl, can I chew some gum?"

"After your bath." Angel said, "I'm gonna go take Calvin up, and put him down for his nap." He gave a quick kiss to Buffy's head, before making his way out.

"Can I chew some gum now?" Lindsay asked once her father was out of the room.

"Daddy said after your bath." Buffy smiled.

*~*~*

The rain was still going strong, the trees swaying in the intensity of the storm outside. The family had just finished lunch, when Calvin decided that now would be a great time to make his presence known, demanding food and some tender loving care. So here the family sat, on the love seat, Buffy rocking the boy to sleep as Blue's Clues played on the TV, Lindsay engrossed into the show, squealed in delight as a new piece of the puzzle was solved, clapping her hands wildly about.

As the show began to near it's end, Lindsay had become bored of sitting and slid off the couch, going to the corner were all the toys and dress up was stored.

Placing the purple tutu on over top her khaki jumper she began rummaging through the bin once again. Pulling out one silk glove she tossed it over her shoulder, Buffy and Angel watched the young girl, as gloves, hats, dresses, shoes, and beaded necklaces flew across the room.

And yet, here she was, head deep in the bin, as her hands moved through the items, discarding some over her shoulder.

"What are you looking for sweetie?" Buffy asked gently.

"Disney." Came a muffled reply from inside the bin.

"Disney?" Angel asked, confused, thinking of her toys. what was Disney?

"Disney." She said again, this time taking her head out of the bin and going through Calvin's toys, and things that people had sent him, hearing of Buffy's pregnancy.

"No sweetie, those are Calvin's. What are you looking for? Let mommy and daddy help." Angel said, pulling the girl away before she could make a royal mess.

"Do you want your tape?" Buffy asked, placing Calvin further up onto her shoulder, so she could get up.

Lindsay sat shaking her head, "Disney." She said with delight.

Walking over to the TV, she opened the glass door, to where the stereo was kept and pulled out a small CD. "You want me to put it on?" She asked.

"Yeah, Disney." Lindsay squealed, running over to were the bin lay, clothes and shoes discarded all around, she grabbed the two white gloves she had found and placed them on. Reaching into the bin once again, she pulled out a small crown and a wand with multi colored tousles spraying out. Placing the crown on her head, she grabbed the wand and made it into the middle of the room just as the music began to fill the room. Walking around the room, she twirled in circles, and jumped around the room to the tune of Bipity Bopity Boo. Pointing the wand at certain items as if she would make pumpkins into elegant coaches, and mice into horses.

Half way through the song she became tired of dancing in small circles and once again bored of the song. Going to the CD player, she tried her best to reach it.

"What song honey?" Angel asked, standing by his daughter.

"No me do it." She pouted.

"No, remember daddy and mommy control this." Angel said, trying hard not to be affected by her pout, her lip jutted out a bit.

"Daddy." She said, her eyes big, lip jutting out further, it was that look, that puppy dog look. Buffy did, Lindsay did, he sometimes swore that he even saw Calvin do it. and it was that look he could just never deny.

Giving in Angel lifted the child into his arms, giving her access to the controls.

She began pushing the small buttons, turning the stereo up, then down, then up again, ejecting the disk, only to put it back in. Turning the power off and then on again. Smiling happily along the way.

"Lindsay this isn't a toy, if you keep playing with it I'm going to put you down." Angel warned.

"But daddy I can't find the button." She said in a 'duh' voice, as if it were obvious.

Sighing he placed her finger on the right button. "There you go. You have ten seconds okay, then if it isn't to the right song, I'm going to do it."

"Daddy." She began to argue, only cutting off as she heard him slowly count. Pressing the button, she went from track one, to two, and so on. Reaching the end of the tracks, she began going back again.

"Lindsay." Angel warned.

"Mickey song, Mickey song." She said squirming in her father's arms. "I find it, daddy." She said pressing the buttons again. "Daddy let go." She whined, "I find. I find."

"Mickey doesn't want to play," Angel began moving further away from the CD player, inspite of the protests coming from Lindsay, "Because the Mickey only comes to play when all the dress up clothes are put away. So why don't you go put the dress up away and by the time you're done, I bet you that Mickey song well be here." With that he set the girl down, pulling at the hem of her jumper.

She put those clothes away in record speed, and just as she was about to complain a familiar tune began.

"Mickey!" She screeched, happily. She walked around the room, in step with the music, "M-I-K-Y M-O-U-S, she began singing along, "Mickey mouse. Mickey mouse." Dancing around the room she sang as best she could with the music. "And now it's time to say goodbye." She continued, humming parts where she didn't know.

"Again, again." She said as the song ended. "Again daddy, again."

*~*~*

After abusing the right to repeat songs, Lindsay had finally become tired. She made her way up to the kitchen.

"Hi sweetie," Buffy replied, looking up from her painting. She had piles and piles of papers in which she had painted assorted flowers, houses, stick-ish figures.

"I paint Momma?" She asked.

"Let's get your smock on first." Buffy said, as she pulled an old button down blouse out of the pantry, which had been filled with arts and crafts things.

Angel who had come back down into the family room after checking on Calvin, making sure everything was okay, saw the living room, once again cluttered with dress up things and toys. Sighing he picked up some and then made his way out of the room, looking for Buffy and Lindsay.

Coming into the kitchen, he saw his two favorite girls, sitting on the floor, water paints all around. Bending down near Lindsay, he saw a small stick man, dressed in black with what looked like spikes coming out from his head. "Wow Linds, that's great, did you paint that? Is that daddy?" He asked, proudly.

Lindsay startled to giggle, "Silly, Momma paint that." She giggled again.

Buffy smacked him on the arm; "We're not all artistic genius's you know." She said with a smile. This earning a kiss on the lips from Angel. As their kiss deepened, Lindsay began to giggle and ran out the room. The two lovers both completely unaware. Angel picked Buffy up bride groom style and carried her up into the bedroom, placing her down on the bed, he gave her a kiss, and told her to stay there.

Walking into Lindsay's room, he told her it was naptime, and if she was good, she'd get a treat when she woke up. At this Lindsay put herself right to sleep, or at least right into bed. Then he went across the hall and checked on Calvin; seeing that everything was in order he shut the door, and made his way back into his room. Where he and Buffy proceeded to 'waste' the rest of the rainy afternoon.
