Buffy trembled on the cement floor, rubbing her bare arms, a deranged, restless look on her face. "I j-just can't do this anymore. It *has* to stop." Buffy strangled out her expression raged like a tortured lunatic. She laughed strangely, little hiccups accompanying each gasp for air.
"You can't leave me, not here. Just let me go!" Buffy cried out to the opening at the top, iron bars covering it, the moonlight shone down on her dirt-smeared face, she pounded the stone walls furiously.
"The walls." Buffy gasped. "They're-they're closing in on me, I'll die..I'll die." Buffy whispered as tears streamed down her cheeks, she buried her face in her hands and choked on her own sobs. No friends, no weapons, no hope. Buffy was caught in the eighteenth century, she didn't even know how she got there and Buffy didn't know how to get home.
Also, she was claustrophobic, and he knew. Mistake.
Buffy rocked back and forth, clutching to her rags which used to be clothes, holding onto the hope that one day she would go home.

"You've broken her, lovely. Now when do we kill the bint?" William commented sarcastically to Angelus as the ruby brooch he was admiring got taken from his hands. "Do you bloody-well mind." William growled as he turned to see who had dared, pulling out a cigarette at the same time, his ego had grown after he had become a vampire, William's gaze softened when he saw who it was.
"Gorgeous..me mum used to have one like this...a bad man took it though, my father punished him painfully." Drusilla paused, her lips curling in a smile. "I remember the blood on his hands." Drusilla purred as she fingered the brooch and turned away, her billowy dress twirling with her. "Can I have it love?" Drusilla asked as she held it up in the lamplight from the street.
William gave a small smile. "Of course, pet."
"This is really amusing and all, but I have places t'go, Slayer's waitin' t'be tortured, I really must go." Angelus said with a smirk when he said torture, he put his hand in his pockets and went to leave. "Oh and William, I will kill 'er, soon enough." Angelus added as he disappeared into the night.
"Same old story mate." William said with a sigh, wondering when they could leave this bloody town, they had been there for weeks, he was losing patience, he wanted to see the world, and have Drusilla on his arm.
Drusilla clutched the new doll Angelus had gotten for her, she named her Miss Edith, but she was a naughty dolly, already Drusilla had to punish her. Drusilla remembered the jewelry, she put the ruby brooch on Miss Edith. "There you go, now you'll be pretty for the party." Drusilla murmured. William quirked an eyebrow, he decided to humor her.
"What party ducks?" William asked with a smile as he drew her in close, they walked down the deserted street.
"A new face will arrive there, but not so new at all." Drusilla purred with an airy laugh. William just dismissed it as looney-talk, he smiled anyways, William loved her, insane or not.

This slayer who had stumbled across their path one month ago, a lost little creature, looked like a waste of destiny. But she turned out to be more than that, more stubborn and unusual than any other they had met, which made him want her more, Angelus loved challenges, especially where he knew he would win. Angelus couldn't keep the grin off of his face since his and Buffy's last little visit. It was breathtaking, well if he breathed that is. The way she gave in, pleading to be let go was a surprise, he nearly went insane, the pleasure of it all was too much. Just looking at her drove him crazy, there was just something about this girl..
"Tonight will change everything, I'm countin' on it." Angelus said under his breath as he made his way to the lair.

Buffy clawed at the walls lazily, staring at them dumbly. She knew there was a door there, somewhere, that's how Angelus got in, but they could only be opened from the outside. Buffy hated their little visits, but then again some part of her didn't, the ecstasy of it all was overwhelming, making her lose her mind. It was all part of the game. Sometimes he would be nice, charming, romantic, other times cold, harsh and violent. Deja-vu wasn't a strong enough word for what she was feeling.
But she still loved him. Which made his bite sting even more.
"I must be sick to love him still." Buffy whispered, staring at the stones, her fingers running along the ridges, voice blank.
"No child, yer just human." A soft voice called out as the door opened, Buffy didn't bother moving, she just stared at the the stones as she had been doing for hours. Angelus moved behind her and put his mouth to her ear.
"Come now, we must be gettin' ye all prettied up, we have a party to be attendin'." Angelus whispered as he trailed kisses down her neck, she flinched, not wanting to admit to herself how good it felt, Buffy had to remind herself of what else he could do, she grew stiff on that thought.
Angelus took her small hand in his and helped her up, she was thin, Angelus had made sure of it, not wanting to give her even the slightest chance, he carried her out of the prison. Buffy's inside's set on fire, he was taking her out of the prison she had a chance for freedom!
But that thought was crushed when he piled her into a carriage, and into the hands of four vampires.
"If any of ye harm the girl, I'll be rippin' out yer entrails with me teeth." Angelus growled in warning. The four vampire minions eyes went wide, they would obey Angelus, scourge of Europe. "Just bath 'er, dress 'er, and make 'er ready fer when I come back." Angelus added less menacingly as he left.
Buffy struggled against the four as soon as Angelus left, but to no avail, they were too strong for her. Buffy knew, deep down inside, that this would be the night she died.

"Now then, I shall make you a lady." She exclaimed as she drew a bath, the water all ready. She helped Buffy out of her clothes and into the bath. Buffy closed her eyes and a small smile crossed her face, the bath was wonderful, the first she had in weeks. She savored it, forgetting about everything, her mind taking her home, Buffy could picture her bathroom perfectly, the tub, the sink everything, she sunk into the tub with a sigh.
Violet-eyes put down some clothes she had picked out from the closet.
"This must be a dream." Buffy whispered to herself. "Or nightmare." Buffy added as she climbed out of the tub. The lady vampire put so many layers of garments on her, Buffy felt as if she were going to die of heat.
Then came the corset, Violet pulled it so hard, Buffy gasped, she could feel the material binding her stomach, now she would barely be able to walk. Defenseless. Just the way Angelus would want it. She frowned inwardly.
Violet slipped the final dress over her, Buffy drew in a breath as she saw herself in the mirror.
"It's beautiful." Buffy exclaimed as she admired herself in the mirror. The dress was a deep green silk, tight around her chest, then getting billowy around the lags, ribbons and lace were strung through it, making her seem elegant. Buffy's neck was bare. She shuddered and placed her hand on her neck.
"It is, now, come at once, he's expecting you." Violet-eyes said with a devious smile as she led the helpless Buffy down the stairs and into the carriage, alone.
Buffy was brought to a huge building, the place where all the balls and lavish-events were held. When escorted inside, she gasped again, placing a gloved hand to her mouth.
Angelus was smiling at the base of the red-carpeted stairs, he walked down them, to her and took her hand, Angelus kissed it gently.
"M'lady, may I have this dance?" Angelus asked courteously as he bowed.
"Do I have a choice?" Buffy asked sadly.
"Y'know when I come t'think of it. No." Angelus said with a smirk as he led her to the floor.
"What are you going to do to me?" Buffy asked weakly, wanting to know more than anything so she could anticipate it. They waltzed around the room slowly, to the music. Angelus leaned close to her ear.
"And ruin the surprise me love? You'll see." Angelus said as he quickly kissed her neck and continued to lead her. The dance ended, and a man and his date rushed up to them.
"Angelus! Your date is quite lovely, much better looking than mine, and tasting too I bet." a man of about 42 exclaimed as he patted Angelus on the arm. The older mans date looked around helplessly, obviously fatigued from blood-loss.
Something clicked in to Buffy, the pale people, that man's statement. There were vampires at this party, Buffy paled and brought a hand to her neck as she saw the man looking at it.
"Keep attention to yer own date." Angelus growled in warning as he stood in front of Buffy. Buffy couldn't believe how protective he was.
The older man backed away at once and brought his little waif of a date along with him. Angelus turned to Buffy. "No one touches me victim." Angelus whispered as he brought her to the punch-bowl, made of fine crystal. Buffy looked to him desperately, taking a chance, she cleared her throat.
"Angelus, why did you pick me?" Buffy asked intently, a shiver running down her spine, remembering every little thing he did to her back at his lair.
Angelus raised an eyebrow, surprised by the question.
"I could name many reasons me love. Yer beauty, yer smile, yer stubborn ways. From the minute I saw ye, I wanted ye." Angelus said truthfully as he took her arm. Buffy's spirit's lifted, maybe he wasn't so bad...he never hurt her, physically..just played with her emotions, but that thought got stomped out with the next words out of his mouth, besides, Buffy was going crazy, just the way Angelus would want. Angelus leaned in and brought her mouth close to her ear.
"I loved everythin' about ye, because I knew I could break ye and it would be the most satisfyin' feelin' I've ever had." Angelus added. Buffy backed away, and he laughed. "All this that I've been doin' t'ya is just the icin' on the cake, the real party is just gettin' started." Angelus said as he lead her away to a room, one of the many in the mansion. Once inside, and the door was closed, Angelus brought his mouth down to her neck. Buffy trembled and struggled, trying to get him off of her, but he was stronger by a lot. His fangs pierced her skin, a mind-numbing mix of pleasure and pain rushed through Buffy. She sat limp in his grasp, unable to move, too drunk on emotions.
But Angelus was suddenly ripped away from Buffy's neck. Buffy slipped into unconsciousness, fighting was the last thing she could hear..

Buffy's eyes fluttered open, she looked around the room, but this wasn't the same room, it looked like an inn of some sort. She brought her hand to her neck, where Angelus had bitten her, there was a bandage on it.
"What happened?" Buffy asked herself as she sat up, then fell back down again, still dizzy from the blood-loss.
A voice spoke up from a dark corner.
"You almost died." It said as it came into the light. Buffy nearly fainted, but he rushed to her side and placed her gently down. "I couldn't let him hurt you Buffy." Angel exclaimed as he stroked her
cheek.
"Oh Angel.."Buffy answered, her voice full of emotions, tears welled up in her eyes, as he took her in his arms, she held him tightly and he rocked her back and forth.
"How did you get here, better yet, how did I get here?" Buffy asked as she ran her hands through his short hair, the big difference between him and Angelus. Angel pulled away and took her hands in his.
"The Mayor, he wanted to get rid of you, so he found a spell. We all thought you had ran away again, until Faith, who turns out to be on the Mayor's side, let it slip when we were fighting." Angel paused, letting her take it in. Buffy nodded for him to go on, a flash of betrayal ran through her when Angel talked about Faith, but she pushed it down.
"We broke into the Mayor's office, and we found the spell, I wouldn't let anyone else go for you, so I found myself in the street's of England, stumbling around looking for you, I ran into Spike, pretending to be Angelus, he told me I was supposed to be at some party, with you." Angel said with a frown, knowing how hard these past few months would have been for Buffy.
"I found you, at the last minute, he was going to turn you, I could feel it, so I staked him, took you, and left." Angel said as he looked away. Buffy's eyes widened.
"You did what?" Buffy asked incredulously. "That means.." Buffy trailed off.. "No, you didn't do that, how could you?" Buffy asked, as more tears welled up, she backed away, feeling her strength rising. Angel looked to her sympathetically.
"Think of all the lives I'm saving, all the hurt I've done to them, and you." Angel said seriously, not moving from the bed. Buffy lowered her eyes.
"But I love you." Buffy said softly as she felt the tears burn down her cheeks. Angel lifted her chin up, a sad look on his face.
"And I love you, more than anything, that's why I did it." Angel answered, wiping away her tears with his thumb. They looked into each others eyes. He brought his mouth to hers and kissed her gently, Buffy pulled him in closer, deepening the kiss, Angel looked to her, their foreheads touching.
"Make love to me." Buffy asked softly. Angel's eyes widened, unprepared for the question.
"Buffy, you know we can't, and even if we did-" Angel started, but Buffy put her finger to his lip.
"Please." Buffy strangled out. Angel kissed her passionately in reply, they both needed this. This goodbye.

Buffy snuggled in closer, holding on to him tightly, he looked down to her.
"Promise me something." Angel asked as he took her hand. Buffy looked up to him, meeting his gaze.
"Anything." Buffy answered, kissing his chest. Angel took a deep breath.
"Promise me, that after I'm gone, you'll live. Live life to the fullest, be happy." Angel asked pleadingly.
"How can I? I wont even remember any of this!" Buffy exclaimed sadly.
"You have to." Angel pleaded. Buffy nodded, understanding he needed this, for closure. Angel started fading away, smiling as he did. Buffy tried to grab him, but she was clinging air. He was gone. Buffy cried.

Buffy drew a circle around her, with the supplies Angel had left behind, she said the incantations, and felt herself fade out.. Everything about Angel, all the time they had shared, everything he had done to innocent people was wiped away from History, and Buffy's mind.
