"We've been through alot," Buffy said as she and Angel linked hands and walked down the beach, the waves crashing and just barely grazing their bare feet. "We've seen and done things people only dream about. Or have nightmares about."

"It's been quite a ride," he agreed."

"I wouldn't trade it for the world." she smiled up at him.

"Me neither." he said honestly.

"Are we ready to begin?" the judge asked.

"Yes." the couple said in unison.

"Very well. Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today...."

Buffy didn't even hear the vows as she exchanged them. All she saw was Angel, and all she heard was the song he'd chosen to play while they said "I do".

He smiled at Buffy before kissing her sweetly, his hands brushing over her cheeks. She linked eyes with him again when the kiss broke, and as they walked down the beach again, this time joined together forever, she knew that whatever challenges they would come up to, he would be there for her, and that was all she needed.
