"Jitters?" Willow guessed when Buffy came out of the bathroom for the tenth time.

"Morning sickness," she managed a small smile. "But jitters too."

"You're kidding!"

Buffy shrugged. "Angel and I have been completely apart for like six months, or was it seven? And now we're getting married. It just feels rushed."

"It *is*," Willow said, smiling. "You know, you don't have to get married. Lots of couples have babies without getting married."

"We've never been normal." Buffy said flatly. "And we never will be. I've learned to accept that." she studied the diamond Claddagh on her left hand. "But I'd like my son or daughter to know his or her parents were married before he was born."

"You have six months," WIllow pointed out.

"I don't wanna wait!" she screamed.

In the hall, Xander leaned up to the door and sang, "For our lives to be over! I want to know right now, what will it be. I don't wanna wait--"

"SHUT UP!" Cordelia shouted. "Geez. Is my lipstick smeared?" she asked the girls.

Willow ignored her. "Buffy, if you--"

Before Willow could finish, Buffy sprinted into the bathroom.

Cordelia sighed. "Is anyone hungry?"

"Buffy," Willow said when she came out of the bathroom. "If you don't want to go thought with this, or if you can't, you know that Angel will understand."

"Of *course* I can do it!" she said. "I want to do it. I just have to throw up again." she took off and Cordy cursed under her breath.

"Now I'm *really* hungry."

"Nervous?" Wesley asked Angel.

"No, why?"

"You're drawing blood, man." Doyle said.

Angel looked at his hands and saw what they were talking about. He pulled his fists loose and jumped up and down a few times. "I'm just--"

"Nervous," the best men said in unison.

Angel stood up a bit straighter and smiled when he heard the organist begin to play.

Cordelia came down the aisle first, smiling her best May Queen smile just in case any of Buffy's few relatives in attendance were casting directors or modeling scouts.

Willow followed her, smiling at Spike when she passed him.

"You look bloody gorgeous, Pet." he commented loudly.

The song changed and everyone stood up to await Buffy's arrival. Angel held his unbreath and willed his knees to keep him up.

Buffy appeared at the French doors that led to the aisle with Giles on her arm. She looked scared to death.

As soon as her eyes met Angel's, Buffy relaxed. Angel did too, and he felt the colour returning to his already pale cheeks.

Giles brought Buffy to Angel's side and lifted her veil to give her a kiss on the cheek before looking to Angel.

"Take care of her," he mumbled before sitting down next to a blubbering Joyce.

"I will," he whispered back. He took Buffy's hands in his and when he realized they were trembling, he mouthed "I love you". She immediately stopped shaking and tried to look at the priest and not at Angel.

"Dearly beloved," he began. "We are gathered here today...."

Buffy clenched Angel's hands the entire time and tried to focus on him as they said their vows. She couldn't shake the feeling that she had to throw up again, and she was getting a bit ticked off at the baby for having such bad timing.

"Before I finish things here," Father Flannigan said, "Angel would like to read a poem to his beloved."

Buffy watched as Angel pulled his hands free from hers and took a piece of paper from Doyle. He opened it, cleared his throat and nervously began to read.

When visions around you
Bring tears to your eyes
And all that surrounds you
Is secrets and lies

I'll be your strength
I'll be your hope
Keeping your faith when it's gone
The one you should call
Was standing here all along

And I will take
You in my arms
And hold you right
Where you belong
'Till the day my life is through
This I promise you

I loved you forever
In lifetimes before
And I promise you never
Will you hurt anymore

I give you my word
I give you my heart
This is a battle we've won
And with this vow
Forever has now begun

Just close your eyes
Each lovin' day
And know this feeling won't go away
'Till the day my life is through
This I promise you

This I promise you

Over and over I fall
Each time I hear you call
Without you in my life
I just wouldn't be living at
And I will take
You in my arms
And hold you right
Where you belong
'Till the day my life is through
This I promise you

Just close your eyes
Each lovin' day
And know this feeling won't go away
Every word I say is true
This I promise you

Every word I say is true
This I promise you\\

Buffy wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled lovingly at Angel, whose eyes were wet as well.

"I love you," she mouthed.

"I love you too."

Father Flannigan wrapped up the ceremony quickly and pronounced them husband and wife. Angel lifted up her veil and kissed her, and everyone clapped.

As they walked out into the sunlight, Buffy kissed the Gem of Amara on Angel's left hand. He just smiled at her as they got into their limousine and drove away.

A few miles down the road, a semi ran over Riley and his pig. Behind the wheel of the semi, Spike laughed proudly.
