PROLOGUE

" So what is everyones plans for the Christmas holiday?" Xander asked his friends. They were all gathered in Buffy's dorm room.

"I'm Jewish, remember?" Willow said.

"Oh right. Lemme rephrase the question, what is everyone's plans for the holiday?" Xander asked. Willow smiled and replied, " Oz and I are going to stay here. We want to be alone for the holidays"

"I'm going to Aspen with my parents and." Cordelia trailed off but Buffy and Angel knew she was going to say Doyle, whom she had recently started seeing. Xander, Willow and Oz did not know about that.

"Angel and I are going back home. Our parents have been pressuring us to come visit them since we bailed on going home for Thanksgiving." Buffy responded from her spot on Angel's lap.

"Do they know?" Oz asked.

"Know what?" Angel questioned.

"That you two are together."

"No, not yet." Buffy replied.

"You know you're gonna have to tell them sooner or later. Because ever since you two became a couple, you have not been able to keep your hands off each other in public." Cordy said.

"I'm pretty sure we'll be able to tone done our PDA's. If we managed to do it for +3 years, we can do it for two weeks." Buffy said confidently and her friends shot her a dubious look. "Okay change of subject. What are your plans Xan?"

"I'm going to spend time with Anya." He replied.

"I can't believe you are still going out with her." Angel said. Xander eyed him wearily and he quickly amended, "What I mean is that you have been going out with her for almost 2 months. This is your longest relationship since your break-up with Cordelia. "

"What can I say I really like this girl." Xander said with a goofy grin.

CHAPTER 1

A day later

A knock on the door caught Angel's attention and it opened to reveal his girlfriend.

"Hi honey." She greeted cheerfully and kissed him softly.

"Hey," he responded when they broke apart, "you all packed?" She nodded, "You?"

"Yeah." Silence settled between them for several moments then Buffy said, "I just realized something."

"What?"

"We won't be able to have sex for like two weeks." Angel's eyes widened , "But I'm sure we'll figure out something." She said not-so-reassuringly.

"Hi sweetie!" Joyce Summers greeted her daughter with a huge hug. "Hi mom. I missed you."

"I missed you too." She let go of her daughter."Where's Angel?"

"With his parents. Where's Dad?"

"At work. He'll be home by six and I've already started dinner. It's your favorite."

"Spaghetti and meatballs! I can't wait."

"So how is college?" Joyce asked as they made their way into the kitchen.

"It's great. A little hard but Angel's been helping me."

"You seeing anyone."

"Uh.no I'm not seeing anyone."

Next Door

" So how is college going?" Diane O'Connor asked as her son poured himself a glass of OJ.

"It's great. But we get way too many assignments."

"You dating anyone?"

"Uh.no I'm not dating anyone."

That night the couple sat on the O'Connor's' back porch. This had been the first time they had seen each other since arriving in Sunnydale. Buffy had yet to see Angel's parents and vice versa. They just wanted to be alone even if it was just for a moment.

"I would really like to kiss you right now but I don't want to risk the chances of your parents catching us." Buffy said with longing in her voice. "Ditto." Was Angel's response.

After several moments of silence Angel gave into his urge and kissed her tenderly. Buffy smiled against his lips and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him closer. The need for oxygen became too great and they broke apart just as Diane O'Connor joined them outside.

"Buffy!" she greeted cheerfully.

"Hi Mrs. O'Connor." the blonde stood and hugged the woman who was like a second mother to her. "It's so good to see you again." Diane said when they pulled apart. "It's good to see you too." Buffy responded, "Where's Mr. O'Connor?"

"Inside watching TV. You must come inside and see him." Diane urged.

Glancing quickly at her boyfriend Buffy nodded and went inside, her arm linked with Dianes', and Angel followed them.

CHAPTER 2

The following day the couple decided to hang out. Both of Buffy's parents were at work so the couple had retreated to the blondes old bedroom.

Diane, a house-wife, had just assumed they would be watching videos like they did during High School so she didn't mind that her son was not keen on spending the day with her.

Her assumption was wrong. Even though a movie was playing, the couples' attention was not on the screen or on the movie. They were more interested in staying in their blissful paradise.

"Wow." Buffy said breathlessly as Angel rolled off of her, pulling her onto of him instead. He smiled and kissed her head softly, then whispered, "I love you."

"I love you" she responded immediately. Comfortable silence filled between them then Buffy said softly, "It feels weird doesn't it?"

"What does?"

"Lying here, curled in each others arms, after yet another intense, but wonderful, experience.... It's just like old times."

"Yes it is, but now I get to tell you I love you a million times without having to worry if you return the feelings." Buffy smiled again.

"Angel... we've never talked about it." she said suddenly.

"Talked about what?"

"Why we stayed together for all these years, even though we weren't in a healthy, normal relationship. We never even talked about why we didn't admit our feelings for each other or why you forgave me so easily when I hurt you so badly."

Angel was silent after her speech then he said, " The night we first kiss I was so happy because I realized the moment our lips touched, I loved you. And I didn't tell you then because even though I loved you, I was confused. We had been best friends since we were old enough to walk and I had somehow pictured you as the sister I always wanted....Then the following morning you brought up the subject of how it should not of happened and I was quick to agree because I was still trying to sought out my jumbled feelings. But then we kissed again...and again...and again, and my heart was taken." Angel paused for several moments.

"When we made love on your 17th birthday, I didn't think I could get any happier, but I wouldn't admit my feelings afterwards because I didn't want you to think I was saying it out of obligation or just for the sake of saying it. So I decided to wait.... Then Oz and Xander suddenly decided they wanted to be cupid and they set me up with Fred....And I agreed to date her in hopes that Oz and Xander would give up on their quest to find me a girlfriend and I had planned on going out with her for like 2 dates but we had alot in common and I have to admit I liked her. But after the 5th date she began to bore me, because she wasn't you and I was going to dump her but you started dating Scott-"

"That was Cordy and Willows' doing." Buffy broke in and Angel kissed her softly in response, then he continued:

"So you started dating Scott and I felt insecure so I decided to continue dating Fred. But she had discovered I had feelings for you and she dumped me, telling everyone I being boring was the reason for the abrupt ending of our relationship.. For the rest of our time together I decided not to tell you how I felt because of insecurities. And then Riley just pissed me off because he was a potential threat and when you said those things you said my insecurities reached its limit and I refused to acknowledge you the days after because I was afraid you'd hurt me again. And I forgave you so easily because when Cordelia told me you loved me, I knew you didn't mean anything you said."

Buffy smiled once more happy that she got to hear this. Now it was her turn to talk.

CHAPTER 3

"Alright, my reactions were the same as yours when we first kissed. I loved you and I was confused by these sudden feelings. And after weeks or maybe months of thinking-even during our wonderful kissing times-I tried to deal with my feelings. When we made love for the first time, I was so happy because I realized the moment after our .act, when you just held me your arms, you were my true love, my soulmate. And I was going to tell you but Fred came along and I started dating Scott and there never seemed like there was a right time. And the end of Junior year when we were voted once again as the will-they-won't-they-couple, I was happy because I knew in our own way we became a couple even if nobody else knew and during our Senior year I was planning on telling you but Xander and Willow had the AFFAIR, that everyone talked about for months and you were so angry at both Xander and Willow for hurting Cordy and Oz. And I just had this dreaded feeling come over me." Buffy paused for several moments.

"I thought that if I told you how I felt and you felt the same way and we turned out to be a great couple, you might cheat on me or I'd cheat on you and we'd hate each other like how Xander and Cordelia hated each other all those months. And then I also became insecure and jealous because you and Cordy became close and even though I realized you were just looking out for her, I thought that you two might hook-up-"

"Me and Cordelia?!" Angel said incredulously and Buffy giggled.

"But my insecurity and jealousy died away when it was obvious your love for Cordy was and still is, is totally a brotherly love. Senior prom I was really happy when you asked me to be your date. I was so sure you were going to ask Harmony-"

Again Angel cut in, "Why in the name of God would you think I was going to ask Harmony?!"

"I don't know, call it temporary insanity. Any way I was going to tell you after prom but when we were sitting on my front porch, mom interrupted just as I was about to tell you and then I lost my nerve.. With Riley I never liked *him*, I liked the thought of being in a normal relationship and me dating Riley those 2 times was just to make you jealous and you were right I didn't mean anything I said that night. I was just frustrated that we weren't a normal couple. But now I am the most happiest girl in the world."

"And why is that?" her boyfriend feigned innocence.

"Because I am with you in the relationship I've always wanted and I wouldn't trade it in for anything in the world."

He looked pleased with her answer and he lowered his lips to hers for a passionate kiss.

CHAPTER 4

Around 5pm that same day, the couple was still curled together in Buffy's room, when they heard a car door slam.

Their panicked eyes met, then they scrambled to dress and make up the bed.

Several minutes later Joyce entered her daughters' bedroom to find Buffy and Angel sitting rigidly on the floor, their eyes glued to the TV. "Hi" she greeted and they looked up at her.

"Hi mom"

"Hi Mrs. S."

"What you watching?"

"Uuuuh" came from Buffy but thankfully Angel remembered what they had hired and he said, "We were just about to watch Shakespeare in Love would you like to join us?"

"No thanks. I'm gonna start cooking dinner. You joining us Angel?"

"I think mom wants me home tonight since I was here all day."

"What a surprise," Joyce said with a smile, "I don't think anyone who has known the two of you all your life would find it a shock if one day you announce you're dating or getting married or something." She said then left the room.

Buffy and Angel exchanged glances then the blonde asked, "When exactly are we gonna tell them about us?"

"I don't know."

CHAPTER 5

Two nights later and three days till Christmas the couple were in Angel's bedroom, making out after an intense experience. Diane and Mitch O'Connor were out with Mitch's colleagues for dinner and Buffy and Angel were glad they got to have some alone time.

Unbeknownst to the couple Angel's parents decided to cut the evening short. Around 9:30 pm their car pulled into the garage of 1631 Revello Drive.

"Do you think Angel's asleep?" Mitch asked as Diane opened the front door. "No, he and Buffy were planning on having a movie night, so they should be up." She replied.

They took off their coats then headed upstairs to check on their son and his best friend.

The sight before them was not what they expected to find. Buffy was curled against Angel, a bed sheet wrapped around her obviously naked form and she and Angel were kissing passionately.

The brown headed 19-year-old college freshman suddenly felt like he and Buffy were being watched so he broke their heated kiss and turned towards the doorway. Buffy, confused to why Angel had pulled away, turned to see what had caught his attention and she gasped.

"M-mom and dad.y-you remember Buffy right?"

CHAPTER 6

*This has got to be the most embarrassing moment ever.well since last night.* Buffy thought as her mother and Diane gave her the sex talk. They were seated at the Summers' kitchen table several sex books in front of them.

"Now honey I know this must be very confusing to you. With you being a.beginner but after reading all of these books I'm sure you will feel much better." Joyce said and Diane added, "Love is a glorious thing and I know you love my son but Joyce and I both think it would have been better if you and Angel had waited before you decided to cease the moment."

"You've only been dating for 2 months and even though you've known each other all your life. You can't take sex lightly. You've got to know about the consequences of these things. Before the.event did you ever ask yourself if you were ready or if it was the right moment or the right place because the back seat of a car is not-"

"Mom we've never had sex on the back seat of a car." Buffy interrupted, "And I appreciate the concern. But you don't have to worry about me falling pregnant or getting STD's because Angel and I have been and always will be careful."

"We understand that. But we just think you and Angel should have waited until you had a solid commitment before jumping into the sack." Diane said.

"Solid commitment?. Like we should be married or something?"

"Yes." Joyce and Diane said simultaneously. Buffy groaned.

"We just don't think you and Angel should rush into a relationship. We don't want either of you to get hurt. We're worried that you to will one day look back and think your relationship was a big waste." Diane said.

"Angel is the one for me." Buffy cut in, "so I know we won't look back and think our relationship was a big waste."

"Honey-" Joyce began.

"No! It's my turn to talk. Angel and I may have started DATING 2 months ago but that doesn't mean we made love for the first time AFTER we started dating."

"What are you saying?" Joyce asked.

"Angel and I have been together, in the biblical sense for the past 3 years. We only started dating 2 months ago."

"I'm confused." Diane stated. Buffy sighed then began to tell the 2 women the story.

"Are you angry now?" Buffy asked when she was done. Joyce and Diane shook their heads.

"Sweetie we were never angry. we were just being over protected mothers and I'm pretty sure your father and Mitch are being over protective fathers right now." Joyce said.

" But we still have a few more concerns." Diane said, "Are you sure you are being safe?" Buffy groaned once more and rested her head on the table.

"Honey we're serious." Joyce said, " Are you on the pill? Because if you're not I think you should start."

"And make sure you have a box of condoms for just in case. Because it's well known to all woman in the world that men are irresponsible."

"And I think it would be best if you take the pill and use condoms because you can never be too careful."

"Maybe you should also use a diaphragm as well."

*Somebody just kill me now* Buffy thought as Diane and Joyce continued dishing out their advise.

CHAPTER 7

Angel was on the verge of screaming at his father and Hank Summers. They had just given him the talk and were now telling him about all types of protection he and Buffy should start using.

"Now I know that the new generation has the men worry about condoms, but I think you should ask Buffy to start using the pill, if she hasn't already, and maybe also get her to use a diaphragm." Mitch said, listing yet another "idea"

"Alright!. I think I'll go ask her now." Angel made a dash for the back door. Hank and Mitch quickly followed him.

As he neared the Summers' back door he heard his mother ask his girlfriend, "Honey have you ever faked an orgasm with Angel because if you have it's okay."

"Sometimes men don't know if they are pleasuring their partner and if he isn't pleasuring you, you should tell him." Joyce added.

He opened the door and Buffy looked relieved at seeing him. "Hi." She greeted. " Hi. You ready to go?" She nodded and took his proffered hand.

"You have plans?" Joyce asked. The couple nodded, "We going to do some Christmas shopping." Buffy responded.

" Okay well have fun." Diane said. "Oh we will." Angel said, making the two married couples wonder what he meant by that.

"See you later." Buffy pulled her boyfriend out the house.

" I never thought I'd want parents who didn't care what we did." She said as they headed for Angel's jeep. He grinned and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "Were they asking you stupid, embarrassing questions too?" she asked when they broke apart.

"What do you think?"

"I swear they are on something!"

CHAPTER 8

"Don't gimme that look. I know there has been late night creeping around between you and Buffy. I'm just taking standard precautions." Mitch told his son that night as he cut down the vines that hung down the side of the O'Connor house, beneath Angel's window. The same vines that gave Buffy access to his bedroom without his parents' knowledge.

"You are so in denial." Angel said with a laugh as they headed inside the house.

"Excuse me?"

"Denial. You can't except the fact that the little boy you brought into the world is grown up. a sexual being."

"Angel are you having sex with someone other than Buffy?"

"No, but I am a sexual being. Responsible, mind you, but still biologically a sexual being."

"A sexual being?"

"Yep and you are having a problem facing that reality dad, Dad. It's a typical parental problem, but you know what?" Angel asked as they made their way upstairs.

"No, what?"

"The sooner you accept that, the sooner you and I will have an honest relationship."

"MmmHmm. Angel are you cheating on Buffy?"

"No and I don't plan on cheating on her."

"Thank you."

"But you locking windows and chopping down vines are not going to stop me from having sex with Buffy. So please would you stop acting like a typical parent and let things take their natural course. Let me and Buffy hang out in my room alone at night unsupervised."

Mitch pretended to think about it. "No" he said and walked into his son's bedroom to see if Buffy was in there.

"Why not?"

"Because Angel I am a parent alright. I am your parent and it is my duty to be paranoid about my 19-year-old son having sex upstairs in my own home"

"You are so unenlightened. Didn't you grow up in the sixties?"

"Angel you can psychologically deconstruct me if you want but here's the deal: Parent me, child you. Parent me, child you." Mitch walked out the room, closing the door behind him.

Moments later Buffy stepped out the closet. "He's such a parent" Angel complained. "You handled him well. "Buffy replied wrapping her arms around Angel's neck.

"You think so?" he asked before they kissed. "MmmHmm." She mumbled against his lips.

Suddenly the door flew open and Mitch stepped in. The couple broke away in surprise. "Buffy. What are you doing here?" Angel asked. She shrugged in reply and they fought down laughter.

"Buffy would you come with me please?" Mitch said and she headed out the door. "What did I just say Angel? What did I just say?" Mitch asked.

"You Jane. Me Tarzan."

"No. Parent me, grounded you." Angel's jaw dropped in surprise. "Bye Angel" Buffy said with a smile, then she and Mitch headed down the hall.

Angel stepped out of his room, " Bye Buffy. I'll see you in a few minutes."

She turned around to smile at him. "No you won't." Mitch said and steered her down the stairs.

CHAPTER 9

The following morning Angel entered the kitchen to find his father reading the newspaper and his mother making breakfast.

"Is that the sexual being himself?" Mitch asked, not looking up from the Sport section of the paper.

"You know what I was thinking?" Angel asked pouring himself some O.J.

"No, but I'm sure you going to tell me."

"Don't even try to tell me that when you were my age you weren't sneaking around and making out with girls in backseats of cars and movie theaters."

"You're right. I was. But that was the whole fun of being 19. It was the fear of getting caught that made it more dangerous and exciting."

"So by restricting my access to Buffy, what you really trying to do is liven up my sex life? Did you hear that mom?"

"Remember I don't want to hear anymore about your sex life." Diane said.

"Now you twisting my words again. Angel go to Buffy!"

Angel laughed, "Do you ever notice that whenever your parental authority is in question you start barking out orders?" He picked up an apple.

"Go. Now." Mitch ordered. Angel laughed again then kissed his mother on the cheek, "Bye mom"

"Bye honey."

When Angel left Mitch said, " You know I think our son's secretly studying to become a lawyer. Because he has become a master at manipulation." Diane smiled.

Around lunch time Angel returned home to have lunch with his mother, while Buffy went with her mother to shop for Angel's Christmas present.

"So what are you getting Buffy for Christmas?" Diane asked when he had answered her question to where his girlfriend was.

"I got her a bracelet, and a gift certificate to Bloomingdales but I want to get her something else."

"You're in luck, I want you to give her something your father gave me for our first Christmas together." Diane said then quickly went upstairs. She returned a few moments later carrying a black velvet box.

"Dad got you black pearls for your first Christmas together. Weren't you guys only dating for like 4 months?"

"Yes but we had known each other for 2 years. Now I want you to give this to Buffy." Angel looked ready to protest but she said firmly, "Buffy will love this. And I want her to have it because I know she'll take care of it."

"If you're sure."

"I'm positive."

"Thanks mom" He hugged her.

CHAPTER 10

" So you and your parents still coming to dinner tonight?" Buffy asked later that afternoon. She and Angel were curled together on the living room floor of the O'Connor's home. "Yep. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Good because I want tonight to be perfect. I managed to convince both our parents to let you stay over at my place tonight."

"Don't you think it's weird?" Angel said suddenly.

"What's weird?"

"That yesterday they were all fine with us having sex but when we came back from shopping they didn't want us alone."

"I think their first concern was becoming grandparents and then once they realized we are being careful they slipped into denial."

"Makes sense.. Have you heard from Willow and the others?"

"Cordy called last night. She and Doyle are loving Aspen but her parents are in denial about her and Doyle being a couple. They got it etched in their brains that he's gay."

Angel laughed softly and Buffy continued, "She and Doyle are heading back to campus in 2 days and they want us to spend New Years with them."

"Okay. We should be heading back. Surprisingly I miss campus."

"So do I." Buffy replied.

"Would that be because you won't be having parental supervision?" Diane asked standing in the doorway.

The grins on Buffy and Angel's faces was her answer.

CHAPTER 11

The dinner between the two families was a success. There was no mention of Buffy and Angel's sex life, to which the couple was greatly relieved. Afterwards Buffy and Angel sat in Buffy's bedroom exchanging gifts.

Buffy gasped when she saw the pearl necklace. "Angel you shouldn't have." She whispered.

"Well I didn't. it was my mom's and she wanted you to have it. Dad gave it to her for their first Christmas together."

"Wow. Thank you honey I love this, the bracelet and the gift certificate." She kissed him softly on the lips. It was a simple silver bracelet with a long rectangle pendant in the center, the words Buffy and Angel Forever carved on it.

Buffy in turn had gotten him a Caterpillar watch, a Ralph Lauren sweater and a CD's. She wanted to get him something else but he insisted that he loved what he got.

"So what do you wanna do now?" she asked once they put their gifts away.

"I can think of a few things." He kissed her tenderly and they collapsed onto her bed.

CHAPTER 12

Several Days Later..@ UCLA

"How was your Christmas?" Willow asked her best friend as they headed for the campus coffee house.

"Totally amazing. What'd you and Oz do here?"

"We ended up going to San Francisco because Dingoes Ate My Baby got a gig there, and we had a blast." Willow replied, " Did you tell your parents about you and Angel being a couple?"

"Well, we had planned on waiting for the right moment to tell them and we kinda fell into our old pattern of sneaking around," Buffy smiled at the memory, "anyway Angel's parents had gone out to dinner one night so we took advantage of the situation and we . y'know. We expected Diane and Mitch to be home at like 12-1 but they came home around 9:30 and caught us naked in his bed kissing."

"Oh my God! What did they say?"

"Well they were too shocked to say anything so I went home but the next day they told my parents and then my mom and Diane had this huge, EMBARRASSING sex talk with me while Mitch and my dad talked to Angel."

"They didn't!"

"Oh they did then after they were sure I wasn't pregnant they refused to let me and Angel be alone. It was so annoying!" Buffy said then changed the subject, "Where are we spending New Years?"

"Well Oz got tickets to see the Backstreet Boys or we can go to Club Skunk cos Xander said they were having a huge bash." Willow replied.

"I'm thinking Backstreet Boys. "

"Me too. The only reason Xander suggested Club Skunk was because he knew Anya was a huge fan and she'd ogle over them." Buffy grinned at that.

"So why is Cordy avoiding us?"

"Cordy's avoiding us?"

"Yes. Ever since she got back from Aspen, she's spent time with us."

"Wills, she's probably just tired. I mean she got back yesterday with the rest of us."

"She's not tired Buffy. This morning she got up at EIGHT, which is so-not-Cordelia like and when I asked her if she wanted to get breakfast she said she had plans and when I asked what she wouldn't answer and she rushed out the room."

"Willow you thinking way too much about this. She probably felt really ill and rushed to the bathroom."

"Then why wouldn't she come with us to the coffee house?"

"Will, it's no secret that she went to Aspen, she's probably just sick of coffee or wanted to go shopping or something"

"She hates shopping alone and she practically lives off Cappuccinos .why are you defending her?"

"Why are you questioning her?"

"Cordelia has a secret and you know it don't you?"

"Willow she doesn't have a secret and if she did why would she tell me of all people. You know I can't keep secrets and I always tell Angel and when I do have a secret and it's close to coming out I talk fast and ramble and." Buffy realized she was talking fast and rambling so she scolded herself out loud, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!"

"Buffy what's the secret?"

"I can't tell you. I'm sorry you gonna have to ask Cordelia, who by the way is gonna kill me."

EPILOGUE

"I'm not hiding anything!" Cordelia exclaimed for the umpteenth time to her friends.

After Willow and Buffy had their coffee, the red-head had went to Xander, Oz and Angel to ask them if they knew Cordelia's secret. Xander and Oz had said no, while Angel had tried lying but he ended up confessing that he the secret but had refused to tell her what it was.

Xander, Oz and Willow had gone to confront the former May Queen and she had denied having a secret.

"Come on Cordy. Both Buffy and Angel said you have a secret. Why would they say something that wasn't true?" Willow asked.

"Because they are idiots whom I'm going to kill!" Cordelia retorted.

"Cordy we promised we wouldn't keep secrets from each other, ever since Buffy and Angel came out." Xander said then as an after thought, "That sounded so wrong."

"Yes it did." Oz said, "Cordy we promise we'll also keep it a secret. We just want to know."

"Alright you wanna know the truth I'll tell you, "Cordelia said seriously, "I'm an evil alien that has come to take over earth."

Willow threw a stuffed animal at her. "We're serious! Please Cordy."

Before the brunette could respond the door opened and Buffy Angel entered, joined at the lips. Xander cleared his throat and they pulled apart in surprise.

"Hello people who don't live in this dorm room." Buffy said as Angel closed the door. "Hi." They replied.

"What are you all doing here?" Angel asked.

"We're trying to get Cordelia to tell us her secret." Willow replied.

"And you couldn't do this in your own room?" Buffy asked.

"No." they replied simultaneously. Willow then turned back to the brunette, "What are you hiding?"

"I'm not hiding anything!" she practically yelled, then shot Angel and Buffy a I'm-so-gonna-kill-you-look.

"Buffy. Angel. Does she have a secret?" Xander asked.

"N-no" they said at the same time.

"See! They're lying!" Willow exclaimed.

"No they're not!"

"Yes they are! Because if they weren't they wouldn't have stuttered and they wouldn't have told us earlier that you had a secret."

"Well then they were lying earlier." Cordelia said.

Buffy and Angel sighed as they knew this could go on for hours and nudged Xander of the bed before laying down.

"Why are you being so stubborn?" Willow asked.

"Because I'm a Scorpio, what's your excuse?" the brunette retorted.

Willow sighed and Cordelia asked, "Why is it so important to know what I'm hiding?"

"Because you're one of my best friends and I trust you and I just want to know if you trust me too."

"Willow I trust you. I trust all 7 of you in this room and since it means so much to know what I'm hiding, I'll tell you."

"Really?" Willow asked. Cordy nodded and said, "I'm dating Doyle."

The redheads jaw dropped, "No way!"

Cordy smiled, "We've been dating since Halloween and he even came to Aspen with me"

"Why didn't you want us to know?" Xander asked.

"I don't know. I guess I just wanted to see if the relationship would work and I also wanted to keep him to myself. The only reason Buffy and Angel knew before you guys was because they caught us making out in his dorm room."

Buffy broke her heated kiss with Angel and said, "I didn't know which emotion to feel: shock at catching Doyle and Cordy together or disappointment because Angel and I couldn't have our quickie before Lit. class." The blonde then reattached her lips to herboyfriends for another heated kiss.

Ignoring them Cordy continued, "Seeing as how you all know about my relationship, how about we all go out to dinner tonight so you can get to know him better?"

"That's a great idea!" Willow exclaimed excitedly, "it'll be a couples only thing and Xander you can bring Anya so we can get to know her better as well."

Buffy broke the kiss once more, "Seeing as how we already know Doyle can we skip it?" Her friends glared at her.

"Kidding!" she said and Angel guided her head back to his.

"Okay so dinner tonight. Where are we gonna go?" Xander asked.

"We can go to the new Italian restaurant that opened." Oz suggested.

It was Angel who broke the kiss this time, "Fine. We'll meet at 8. Now can you guys get out we want to have sex!"
