As a last ditch effort, Angel tried to get Connor by using a time travel spell that would send him to an important time in his blood's life- but Buffy's blood was still in him, and sent him to Sunnydale. He walked around and saw Buffy singing about walking threw a fire.

Buffy:

I touch the fire and it freezes me

I look into it and it's black

Why can't I feel?

My skin should crack and peel

I want the fire back!

Now through the smoke, she calls to me

To make my way across the flame

To save the day

Or maybe melt away

I guess it's all the same

So I will walk through the fire

'Cause where else can I turn?

And let it-" Buffy suddenly looked up and saw Angel there sitting on a crate and he started singing not knowing that she was there.

I had a son, he loved me

He was my fire, and my soul

He made me alive

And she did, but she died

Am I really to blame?

I walked away when she needed me

Would I have done that to the babe?

Maybe I'd cry

But eventually they all die

And I will still be here

I touch the fire- it scorches me

But does that really make me live?

Sure I died, and she did and I cried

Buffy and Angel kick down the door of the Bronze. It smashes to pieces.

SWEET (spoken) Showtime!

"BUFFY! Angel? HELP!" Dawn screamed from the position on the stage. A

ll the demons looked to see who Angel was and were shocked to see Angelus i

n front of them and they kneeled in front of them.

"You should have told me during the refrain who this was," Angel chuckled a

t the demons while Buffy and Dawn looked shocked at him.

"What?" Buffy asked

"They were in a club in LA a few months ago- they don't like my singingâ

€¦ not very many people do," Angel replied simply going up and untying

Dawn without any remark from the demons. Dawn hugged Angel and went back down next to Buffy who suddenly began singing.

Buffy:

Life's a show

And we all play our parts

Some dumb and some smart

But all needed to start

If some things come out wrong

Hell I've died twice in all

Angel:

Cordy's hair

Anya and Tara take up positions behind Buffy to be her backup singers and dancers. The three of them move in sync. Spike and Xander line up next to Angel and start break dancing slowly in the background

BUFFY:

Give me something to sing about.

Angel:

I need something to sing about.

Angel:

You don't get to rehearse.

But hey then I got cursed

Things can make it worse

Buffy:

Still my friends

Don't know why I ignore

The million things or more

I should be dancing for

.Buffy continues dancing, bit grabs Angel in the process.

BUFFY:

Life sends

ANGEL:

And friends

Buffy:

All the twists

and bends

ANGEL:

Knowing that

it ends

BOTH OF THEM:

BUFFY:

On if they know enough to know

She walks up onto the stage, looks back at the others, then at Sweet still sitting. He makes his string-pulling gesture. Buffy walks right up to him.

BUFFY:

There was no pain

No fear, no doubt

Till they pulled me out

Of Heaven.

ANGEL:

I know my son's not in Heaven

I know I'm not going to Heaven

Buffy:

Not another self-pity

I live in Hell

Cuz I've been expelled from Heaven

ANGEL:

I wasn't here,

So I must fear it's my fault

Cuz I didn't tell

BUFFY:

Sweet shakes his head. Buffy starts dancing wildly, but is stopped by our Dark Night ANGEL!

ANGEL:

Three songs ago

[brushes hair back from her face]
