Synopsis: Angelus goes over his feelings.
AN: This is assuming Angelus didn't go all-evil after Buffy.

No- he didn't love her. He didn't love her after she smiled at him every morning and whispered words of love to him. He didn't love her when he told her he wanted to be called Angelus- and then she said she was happy he had gotten past that. He didn't love her when she started coming over more often- and ended up staying up the night. He didn't love her on those nights when she would stay just to sleep and whisper 'I love you Angelus' at him. And he certainly didn't love her when he would cover her with his soft sheets and kiss her on the forehead.

"Ugh, you know fighting evil is a lot easier than high school," Buffy stated snuggling closer to her boyfriend. The first few weeks of senior year were really starting to get to her. Angelus smiled softly at her and brought her into his lap looking at her book.

"It'll be okay, Buffy," he reminded her reading from the book. He had gone over her class choices with her a few months ago and told her to take History again instead of chemistry. He could help her in history- that's what all good boyfriends did. He had to take care of his property- not that any feelings were involved. "Otherwise I can kill the teacher."

"That would be wrong," she said sleepily dragging him down for a body pillow. His head was directly in front of her jugular and he accidentally slipped into game face from the scent. This was nothing- sure he hadn't had fresh blood in a month or had this dream about a million times before. This was nothing.

"Love you," Angel whispered not able to help himself but to bite in. He took a sip and she didn't even seem to

No- he didn't love her when she woke up and smiled at him. Or when she liked the bite mark at her neck. Or when she bit into his neck to do the same. Angelus didn't love- no he wouldn't love.

But No wasn't an option anymore- being human kind of changed that.
