Summary: Buffy is in LA over the weekend and meets Kate.
"What time is it?" Angel asked for the 19th time that day.
"Ugh, Angel! Can't you live for five minutes without asking that question? She's coming in half an hour." Cordelia exclaimed annoyed.
"So, it's twelve?"
"GOD! All you can think of is your precious Buffy, huh?"
"Yes" He replied dreamily.
Buffy and Angel's weekend/holiday relationship has been going on for seven weeks now. She had been a big help for him when Doyle died and had been there when Penn came into town. Kate knew of demons and vampires now and it seemed she saw her private protector in Angel since then. And although she knew he had a girlfriend she kept on flirting with him.
"What time is it?"
"ANGEL! STOP IT!" Cordelia yelled into his office.
"Stop what?" Buffy asked from the door.
Angel rushed to her, scooped her into his arms and kissed her passionately. Quickly, their simple kiss began spiraling out of control.
"HELLO! No, you're still NOT the only persons in this room!" Cordelia yelped. "WESLEY, Come on, we need to get out of here!"
Wesley came into the room and blushed heavily because of the scene in front of his eyes. Cordy and Wes headed for the door and shouted their `Byes' from the outside.
Angel carried his lover in his apartment in the basement and pressed a trail of hot, wet, open-mouthed kisses down her neck and shoulders. She moaned deeply and began to unbutton his black velvet shirt.
He placed her on his large bed and removed her clothes slowly between hungry kisses. Buffy did the same and they made love without speaking one word.

One hour later, they lay silently in bed. Her head resting on his chest when she began laughing.
"What?" Angel asked smiling. It was the first word he'd spoken to her since she arrived.
"Hello to you, too" She grinned.
"Hello" He said laughing.
"So it seems you missed me? `Cuz I just had the most amazing orgasm of my life" She grinned up at him.
Angel smirked. "Amazing, huh?"
Buffy lifted her head up to kiss him. " Yes (kiss) that (kiss) was (kiss) pretty am(kiss)azing!"
"I love you" Angel said.
"I love you more" Buffy replied smiling
"I doubt that" He said grinning
The phone rang which made Angel growl.
"Ignore it" Buffy pleaded.
"It can be important" He said while picking up the phone. "'Lo?"
"Hey Angel" Cordy replied.
At the same moment Buffy began kissing up his bare back and stopped at his tattoo to suck on his skin.
"Cor, What do-" A deep moan escaped his lips in response to Buffy's ministrations "-you want?"
"GEEZE, CAN'T YOU TWO KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF EACH OTHER FOR ONE MINUTE?" Cordelia yelled into the phone.
Angel chuckled. "What is it, Cordy?"
"Kate phoned here after trying at you're a couple times - guess you two were too involved with each other - because, well, I wanted to warn you. She'll come tomorrow morning and since I won't come tomorrow I phoned you, now" She explained. " Bye, I *so* don't wanna hear you groan once more" With that she was gone.
Angel threw the phone aside and turned to his waiting girlfriend. He pulled her on top of him and sucked her neck.
"What did she want?"
He placed his hand between her legs and she collapsed moaning on top of him.
Her question was never answered.

Angel woke up and smiled towards his love, watching her sleep peacefully. He'd got up to shower, dressed and made himself a cup of coffee before standing in the doorframe to his bedroom and staring at his sleeping beauty when Kate came down the stairs.
"Hi" She said while fixing her outfit.
"Hey , Kate" He turned around to face her. "What is it?"
"Well, I got myself a little demon-y problem. Yellow, skinny, kills people by removing their hearts and brains." She stated.
"Well, I can research" He said while heading for his bookshelves, hoping she would leave quickly.
"Cool, I'll help" She flirted
*No, I'm faster if I do it alone**No, you're annoying* *No, and now get your butt out of here**No, I'd rather prefer heading back to my bedroom and fucking my naked lover senseless* "Sure, why not?"
He pulled a few books out of his shelf and gave one to Kate, placing the others on the kitchen table and sat down.
They researched for one hour and Angel caught Kate staring at him several times when a small voice came out of his bedroom.
"Angel?" Buffy asked.
"Out here, baby" Angel shouted towards the bedroom.
Kate was shocked.
A few moments later, Buffy came into the kitchen, wearing the shirt he wore only a few hours ago and his boxers. Angel kissed her `good morning'.
"Morning, sunshine" He said when he broke the kiss, handing her his cup.
"Morning" She smiled and then turned to Kate, sipping on his coffee.
"Honey, this is Kate Lockley, a police officer who helped me out a few times, Kate , this is Buffy Summers, the love of my life." Angel said.
Kate's mouth fell open and she checked out the skinny blonde infront of her. Buffy offered her her hand which she took.
"Research-Party?" Buffy asked grinning.
"Yeah, I guess Angels head is smoking by now" Kate said.
Buffy patted his head and began stroking his hair. "Aww, poor Angel's brain" She placed herself in his welcoming lap. This was not what Kate wanted to happen.
"Yellow, skinny, removes hearts and brains" He smiled at his girlfriend, silently begging her not to stop what her hand was doing in his hair.
"The Brotherhood of seven" Buffy said, drinking Angel's coffee. She took a book, opened a page and handed it to him. "There"
Both Angel and Kate looked speechless at Buffy.
"What?" She asked innocently
At the exact same moment Xander came down the stairs.
"Yo Dead-boy" He greeted, erning an evil glance from Angel. "You forgot your bag, Buff" He said, placing it on the couch and then got himself a cup of coffee.
"Thanks, Xand"
"Oh there's a new demon in town. A little hellmouth-y, a little evil but not that bad. Just an average supernatural creature" He said.
"A little blasé there aren't we?" Buffy commented.
"I'm not worried. If it's really that bad, we'll find, you'll slay, we'll party." He grinned.
Buffy laughed. "Kate, Alexander Harris, Xander, Kate Lockley" Angel introduced once more.
"Well, I'll go, we're going to that alien-show in Beverly Hills" Then he headed off to his car.
"That was strange" Buffy said, still stroking him. Angel nodded in agreement and licked her neck. They'd totally forgot that Kate was still in the room.
They both turned to her.
"You said you were single, we met at a single.bar, remember?" Kate burst out.
"I was on a mission then" Angel said confused. "And you see, I'm not single. I'm married for two years" He said.
Buffy's hand froze in her actions and Angel pointed at her Claddagh. He'd given it back to her a few weeks ago. Buffy's smile grew and she kissed him.
"Well, .I, um" Kate nearly ran out of the building.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Buffy asked.
"I wanted to, but then, there was Angelus and when I returned from Hell it seemed not right to me to tell you and--"
She kissed him passionately.
"I love you, my husband"
Angel grinned. "I love you, my wife"
