".and then he was all `I didn't say anything' and all was back on me" Dawn complained. "Why is it this difficult being a teenager? I mean- Nobody's listening to me and everybody's treating me like I was still five and after Buffy's kind of view I should be locked in my room after sunset!"
"Dawn, you know why's that her kind of view! She just wants to protect you, they all do. That's why they're treating you like a child and when you think nobody's listening to you, maybe you should speak a little louder? Besides it's not true! I'm listening to you, am I not?" Angel said, drying the dishes.
"Yeah, yeah, I know but I like complaining!" She murmured
Angel chuckled "Maybe you should do that with the throwing-up-on- Xander-thing again? Then you get their attention, for sure!"
"I was *eleven* then and Giles drives *so* bad!" Dawn yelped embarrassed "And stop that goofy-grin!" She handed him a plate.
"You know- I found that kinda amusing!" He smirked
"Of course you did, you sat in the front - FAR away from the throwing up scene!"
Angel laughed and two arms circled themselves around his waist while someone nuzzled at his shoulder.
"How comes the goofy-grin?" Buffy asked, Dawn burst out laughing.
"Why does everybody say that?" He tried to look hurt, but failed miserably. He was far too happy. He finally was able to be part of his love's life and was accepted by her family. Joyce was such motherly towards him and Dawn reminded him this much of Kathryn.
He turned around and was face-to-face with his beloved. He tucked a blonde lock behind her ear and smiled at her. He loved her this much. How could he ever think he could live without her? She was a goddess. HIS goddess. *How did I get so lucky?*
"How did *I* get so lucky?" Buffy purred happily.
Funny how you can ask yourself a question in your brain and don't notice you said it out loud.
Dawn was finished with the dishes and headed for the door. Then she turned towards the soulmates once again. "Oh, and you two were MUCH too loud last night!"
"DAWN!" Buffy yelled blushing.
Dawn went out of the room, giggling hysterically.
"She grew up a big deal since I first saw her" Angel said.
"Yeah, she did" She sighed happily against his chest, nuzzling herself in his embrace.
"You want to stay like this forever?" He asked after several minutes. His chin resting against her hair.
"Yeah. Just hold me and say that you always be mine" She closed her eyes.
"Always" He replied truthfully. "Even if you tried you wouldn't get rid off me. I won't let go off you ever again."
"And don't even *dare* leaving me again!"
"Never"
"Good answer"
He silenced her with a deep, long kiss which left both of them breathless.
"I love you" He looked deeply into her eyes.
"I love you, too" She said merrily
Her eyes were sparkling at him and in that moment only the two of them existed in the whole universe.
They didn't even notice Dawn entering once more.
"Buffy.BUFFY!" Dawn yelled. " See. That's what I mean with `nobody's listening to me'... .BUFFY!"
"Huh?" She finally heard her sister but didn't turn away from Angel.
"Willow was on the phone, she said something about bronzing tonight" Dawn answered. " Geeze, you two are undressing each other with your eyes."
"Whatever" Buffy replied, still staring into her lover's chocolate deep eyes.
"You two are *so* bonkers" she said while leaving the room.
"We have to go to the Bronze tonight?" He sounded much hopelessly.
"I promised"
"We can go later?" He begged while sucking on her neck.
"You know- if you don't stop I'm going to have a HUGE hickey!"
"Uh-huh"
She finally pulled away and went into her bedroom
"Fine. Spoil the fun." He said after her.
"You can have your fun later tonight!" She said playfully.
"That a promise?"
"Maybe"
*~*~*
The Bronze was crowded. They'd need an hour to get seats but finally they were all seated in the couches,Willow nibbling on her Muffin and
Angel was dieing of jealousy. Buffy and Xander were dancing in the front of the Bronze.
Angel's eyes were fixed on the dancefloor. Watching every movement his girl did.
Her hips swayed. Taunting him and every other male in the place, she raked her fingers through her hair. Angel was *very* busy giving every man who looked at her murderous stares.
"Jealous much?" Willow asked grinning.
"No" He replied, not daring to take his eyes from Buffy.
"Oh, come on. You're boiling" Willow smiled brightly.
"How can I not? Look. He's staring at her!" He whined.
"No. *She* is staring at *him*!" Anya yelped.
"She's not" Angel exlaimed.
Buffy and Xander came back to the others, laughing. When she was near Angel, he pulled her into his lap and glared jealousy at Xander.
"You really should get over your Macho-ego, honey" She teased him " There's no need to be jealous" She sipped on her Cherry-Coke.
"There is! All males in this place are checking you out!" He complained.
She lifted one eyebrow.
"Hey! Besides, I'm born in the 18th century. I'm supposed to be a jealousy super Macho!" He said "And by the way, I know you like it!" He grinned.
"Well, maybe a little," She smirked "but there are other things I like, too!"
She gave a little wiggle
"Yeah, I *suddenly* remember you promised me something!"
