"What if Wesley forgot the rings? What if the priest is late? What if I am too nervous to get out one line and am not able to say 'I do`? What if I—"

"Buffy, calm down! Too many what if's! Nothing's gonna happen!" Faith tried to calm the girl down.

Buffy sat down next to Willow, who tried to curl her hair. "Guess you're right, but—"

Buffy was cut off by Willow who had clapped her hand over the slayer's mouth.

"Get up." Willow ordered. "You're ruining the dress which is beautiful, by the way!"

"Willow, you picked it out!" Faith reminded the witch.

"That's why it's beautiful!" Willow grinned.

They were interrupted by a knock on the door and Faith got up to answer it, wearing a pink long dress that looked ridiculous on her that matched the one Willow was wearing. And she opened the door only to reveal a handsome, tall man she'd never seen before.

"And you are?" Faith asked annoyed.

"I'm Ryan. Nice to meet you, too. I'd like to see Buffy." The strange guy flirted.

"GOD! How many admirers does the girl have? Look, sod off! Riley tried ten minutes ago. She's TAKEN!" With that Faith hit the door shut.

But the man knocked again...

"What did I just say?" Faith remarked.

"I'm Ryan. Ryan Summers. The bride's brother!" The dark-haired guy smirked.

Faith's eyes went wide and she shut the door anew. "B., since when do you have a brother?"

All Buffy did was ran to the door in her wedding-dress and opened it. "RYAN! What are you doing, here?" She hugged the older guy.

"You don't think, I'd miss this, do ya?" He hugged her back. "You look magnificent!"

"Hello Ryan" Willow smiled and hugged him as well. "Long time, no see!"

"Faith, this is my half-brother. My father's first born. Older by four years!"

"Hello B's father's first born." Faith grinned. "And you come here, bride. Let's do your hair!"

"One question:" Ryan interrupted. "Why do the bride-maids always have to look that stupid?"

"Because we aren't allowed to look better than the bride!" Willow explained matter-of-factly. "Besides, we look good! I picked those dresses!"

Willow and Faith were busy making the most beautiful bride there ever had been out of Buffy and Ryan was busy questioning the bride-maids about his little sister's still-fiance.

When Buffy was finally ready, Giles entered the room only to freeze on his place.

"My, Buffy you look beautiful." Giles breathed. Never in his life he had been more proud of his slayer. She was the first slayer that had been able to find her soulmate and live a quite normal life beside her destiny. She had done something no slayer before her had been able to.

And now the one girl in the world that meant more than a daughter to him was about to get married. And he was gifted with the chance of giving her away.

"Do you have the rings?"

"Yes"

"Sure?"

"Yes!"

"Do you—"

"ANGEL!"

"I'm sorry, Wes. But are you sure she—"

"YES!"

"You think so?"

"ANGEL, CALM THE HELL DOWN!"

"Okay. Right. Sorry."

"Good."

"But—"

"GOD, ANGEL!"

"Woah, nervous much?" Gunn commented, coming through the door."Oh, I just saw the bride, she looks awesome!"

"Don't forget that you're talking about my girlfriend, here!" Angel warned playfully.

"Your wife-to-be!" Wesley corrected.

"My wife-to-be." Angel repeated.

"Looking forward?" Gunn grinned.

"Much." Angel smirked.

"Then, let's go. It's time, groom." Gunn showed the ex-Vampire the door.

*~*~*

It was the very best day of their lives. It was just perfect.

The church was a gothic, old building and the windows were painted lovely in a colors which turned the room to a darker romantic atmosphere.

The church was filled with all people they knew, but all they saw was each other.

They were lost in their own little universe and didn't even notice the priest's talking.

He couldn't believe that he really finally married the woman of his dreams. He was finally worthy of this incredible woman that gifted everyone with a smile and helped every being that needed help or advise.

This woman whose hair shined as beautiful as the sunrise and whose lips were as soft as rose pedals and whose eyes sparkled like the fireworks on New Year's Eve.

That woman that he loved with all he was, is and always will be.

And the most amazing thing in all this was that she loved him just as much.

He couldn't believe that the two words "I do" out of her mouth would make him this happy and that, when he returned those words, her eyes began sparkling with a kind of joy he'd never seen before in them.

And before he could think of it, she was wearing his ring and on his left hand was settled hers. The one that told everyone that he was taken by the most precious being there would ever be.

And her lips were touching his in the first kiss as husband and wife.

And their guests were applauding and cheering, but they didn't even notice.

They danced trough the night with their eyes locked on each other and celebrated the best day of their lives like a normal just married couple.

In his eyes, she never looked more beautiful to him like just that moment when she was wearing this white wedding dress and her wedding- ring on her left ring finger.

Anya caught the bride's bunch of flowers, but that wasn't really important to them. She was the next to marry so or so.

And they were never happier than that moment when they knew that they finally could really be together forever. That they could grow old and grey side by side and live happily ever after.

For them life was perfect.

And you can't imagine how he felt when she quietly whispered "I'm pregnant," into his ear.
