AUTHOR'S NOTES: I got this idea while filling up a bottle of water, so who knows how my brain works, an ever mystery

"You got another one"

"Yep"

"I like it, what is it?"

"I'm not completely sure, I saw it and it described how I felt perfectly at that moment."

"It's nice"

"Thank you"

After a long pause I began again.

"Everyone else thinks it's a phase I'm going through, the tattoo and body piercing stage. I'm trying to get attention is a fond theory of many. I'm rebelling is another popular one. You're the only one who really knows what I think."

"You can't change the inside by changing the outside"

"But I can try right? I know, it's just the self pain thing excluded, it's an escape, my appearance that is."

"I understand, but it won't last forever you know?"

"I do, he's good by the way."

"So is Angel"

"Good, I worry sometimes."

"Unlike him though Angel doesn't know I'm there."

"It's better that way, can you imagine if he did?"

We had a slight laugh over this one.

"It has to end doesn't it", I asked with some fear.

"It does"

"Well, it was nice while it lasted"

"You know what we have to do don't you?"

"Unfortunately, yes"

"I feel the same as you do."

"We have to though, we have to… move on"

"He'll miss you."

"He doesn't even see me now, how can he miss me?"

"He knows though, he's been antsy lately, he's connected with you"

"Him too, he has this last hope that one day you'll come back."

"But we can't come back can we?"

"Never, well, maybe at some point, long down the road."

"Yes, I suppose it's better that they live without us."

"Funny Angel's the one who said that he should leave so that I could have a better life, and now I'm doing the same, yet I'm not exactly leaving in the regards that I was never there, does that make sense to you?"

"Perfectly, because I feel the same."

"I guess this is goodbye."

"I guess it is."

"Thank you, for watching out for him, for everything."

"No, thank you."

"Keep safe Drusilla."

"You too Buffy."
