SUMMARY: Talking ensues.
RATING: PG
SPOILERS: General (if any)
TIMELINE: Over 17 years after IWRY
DISTRIBUTION: You want you can have it, just tell me where you put it.

After Buffy had ran from the room, both Willow and Hope went to go after her. Willow grabbed Hope's arm and said, "Let me, you stay here and get to know everyone".

Hope sat back down and stared at the group of strangers in front of her. Finally Angel broke the silence by saying, "Hope. I know finding out about..."

Hope cut him off. "Actually, I'd pretty much pieced it together from mom's old diaries".

"Resourceful kid" Doyle whispered to Cordy, who nodded.

"I bet you don't know who we are?" Xander said, patronisingly.

"I bet I could snap you like a twig, and I will if you don't stop treating me as if I was a two year old" Hope replied.

From his place next to Hope, Dev started to laugh especially at the look of horror on Xander's face.

"What are you laughing at?" Xander said, trying to be intimidating.

"You" Dev replied, still laughing.

Doyle joined in the laughter and said to Xander, "He's got you there, you did look hilarious".

Xander sat there silently fuming at being taunted by some hooligan and demon-breath. Everyone else sat there staring at each other in an uncomfortable silence, they all had so much they wanted to say and ask but none felt comfortable enough to do so.

Buffy sat on Hope's old swing set in the backyard trying to pull her emotions back under control.

"Is this a private sob session or can anyone join in?" a voice from behind her said.

"So you come out here to destroy my life too" Buffy asked.

"Actually, I thought you might wanna talk and if you remember I was always a pretty good listener" Willow said, sitting down next to Buffy on the other swing. "Well, how about tonight? It was full of surprises".

"Yeah" Buffy replied, reluctantly.

"I mean you have a daughter, who is Angel's. That is so amazing" Willow said trying to get Buffy to open up to her.

"Yeah" Buffy repeated.

"So how did that happen anyway?" Willow asked, desperately.

"A demon"

"Oh" Willow replied.

They sat there in silence and it finally sunk in to Willow that although her appearance hadn't change much, Buffy was a radically different person to the one she had been all those years ago. Willow finally broke the silence by saying, "You know you're taking this well".

"Taking what well?" Buffy asked, suddenly confused.

"The fact that Angel's human" Willow said, "I thought you knew?"

Buffy sat there in shock for a moment before asking, "How long?"

"About 15 years" Willow said, as she saw Buffy jump up and head back towards the house.

Buffy went inside and marched into the living room. Once there she marched over to where Angel was hiding in the shadows and shocked everyone in the room by hitting him, full slayer strength. "You total bastard" Buffy said. "Did you have fun? A good laugh? Buffy is so stupid, she didn't even realise I'm not a vampire anymore".

"Buffy..." Angel began.
