SUMMARY: Buffy and Angel go once more to Sunnydale to tell some news. Joyce flips out.

Buffy sat quietly next to Angel as they drove towards Sunnydale. She just couldn't believe how much had changed for her since she was last in town, she was now engaged to and pregnant by her Angel, the Vampire that was now forcing her to tell her family and friends, the news. He said it would be nicer and easier to tell them now, before the wedding or the birth and he was as usual right. She just didn't want to face her mother or Xander, she knew just what their reactions would be, it was a good thing she didn't live in this town with them anymore. Before she knew it they had pulled up in front of Giles' place and it was time to face the firing squad.

GILES' PLACE

They walked up to the door and knocked, when he answered the door Giles had a funny look on his face, Buffy knew something was up.

"Giles, what's up?" Buffy asked concerned that one her friends was in trouble.

"Xander had to work late and Anya wouldn't come without him, so tonight, there will just be me, your mother, Willow, Tara and if you're unlucky Spike" Giles said trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"Spike?" Angel asked, confused "When did Spike join your gang?"

"The Initiative put a chip in his head that stops him from harming Humans" Buffy told Angel "He's basically a demon outcast and Giles is a big softie. So we adopted him."

Giles, Buffy and Angel went into Giles' living room and sat down to await the others, it didn't take long within the next ten minutes everyone had arrived.

They all sat in Giles' living room staring at each other, until Joyce said "So why did you you want to see us all, tonight?"

"Well...." Buffy began "Angel and I have some news to tell you and we wanted to do it face to face".

"What?" Willow and Giles chorused.

"There's actually two pieces of news" Angel said.

"Well, tell us" Willow demanded.

"Ok, Wils, keep your panties on. One is that Angel and I are getting married" Buffy

announced.

"Congratulations" Willow said running over to hug them both

"Congratulations" Tara whispered to the couple, hoping they'd be as happy as she and Willow are.

Before Giles or Joyce could comment the door flew open and Spike strolled in, he said "Sorry I'm late, hope I didn't miss Peaches and the Slayers announcement".

Ignoring Spike, Giles asked Buffy "Are you sure?"

"Sure about what?" Spike asked

Angel answered him "About marrying me".

"Woah, Peaches is marrying the slayer. Well sweetheart looks like you managed to hook one of us, especially since we didn't work out" Spike commented.

"What?" Angel asked.

"Didn't Slayer, tell you? She and I were engaged once" Spike said, taking great delight in Angel's distress.

Buffy quickly said "Wils, cast a spell over us and we thought we were in love. When the spell was over I resumed my hating of him" and then she said to Giles "Yes, I'm sure".

"Well then, my best wishes to the both of you" Giles replied.

Joyce sat there in shock, she couldn't believe her little girl, her baby was marrying that vampire. Especially after how much trouble she went through to get rid of him, six years earlier.

Seeing that Angel was not going to take the bait anymore thanks to the slayer, he asked "So why are you two getting married. What did you do Peaches, knock 'er up?"

Everyone in the room, except for Buffy and Angel laughed at this. That's when Buffy said "Spike, how'd you guess the rest of our news?"

This effectively shut everyone up. They realised that Buffy and Angel were serious. Giles was the first to recover "How is this even possible?"

Buffy answered that question, "Short version is big fight, Morah demon's blood spilled, Angel fell into it. Next thing we know, we're pregnant".

"This is totally unprecedented" Giles mumbled as he got up to start his research.

"Oh Buffy, I'm so happy for you and Angel. Congratulations again" Willow said.

"Wils, would you be my Maid of honour ?" Buffy asked her.

"Really. I guess that means you want Cordy for Godmother" Willow said bitterly, she realised that Buffy had been drifting from her now they didn't live in the same town any more. It also hurt that it seemed to be Cordy that was taking her place.

"This time Wils, but if this ever happens again, you are number one on the list" Buffy tried to appease her.

"Why is she number one this time?" Willow pushed Buffy for an answer.

"She is my best friend in LA, Wils. Plus she is going to have to put up with my hormonal self everyday and she'll be around all the time after the baby's born" Buffy said.

"Alright" Willow said "But next time I'm godmother".

"Deal" Buffy said, as she and Willow hugged.

When Angel finally stopped watching Buffy, Spike walked up to him and said "Bloody hell. Peaches is gonna be a daddy, and at your age. It's just sick", then he walked away.

Meanwhile Joyce was still sat there in shock, trying to absorb the fact that not only was her baby marrying the much hated vampire, but she was also having a baby of her own, a half vampire baby. Buffy noticed her mother was quiet and went to sit down next to her.

"Mom" she said, "You're awfully quiet. So what do you think of the news, Granny?"

"Are you sure you're pregnant? Because if you're not you don't have to marry him" Joyce said icily.

"I'd marry him, even if I wasn't" Buffy told Joyce "Don't you get it yet, I've been in love with him for almost 10 years, it's always going to be him. Without him I'm not whole, nothing means anything without him".

"But why couldn't you love someone normal? That Riley, was a nice normal boy, why couldn't you marry him?" Joyce said desperately.

"Mom, Riley was a geek. I didn't love him, in fact I didn't even like him" when she saw Joyce was ignoring her, she said "Angel has always been the one freaky thing, in my freaky world that has made sense to me. If you can't deal with it or be happy for me, I suggest you forget you have a daughter".

That was when Joyce did the most unforgivable thing, she got up and walked out of Giles' house and didn't even look back to where Buffy was standing in tears. Angel who had watched the ugly scene unfold, rushed over to Buffy, pulled her into his arms and held her while she cried. When she had calmed down, he made their apologies to everyone and took Buffy back to the mansion.

THE MANSION

When they arrived there Angel led Buffy to the bedroom and just laid next to her and held her until she felt like talking about what had happened. After she had poured her hear to him, he said to her "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have forced you to tell them".

"Actually, I'm glad you did. Even if my mom and quite possibly Xander act like idiots, I at least have the support of you, everyone in LA and Giles, Willow and Tara". Buffy told him, honestly.

"Well, at least you've told everyone now" Angel said, soothingly.

"Actually there is one more person to tell..." Buffy said.

"Who?" Angel asked.

"My daddy" Buffy answered.
