Angel went to pick up the phone, when Cordy stopped him. "What?" he asked, confused by her action.

"Well, do you really want to get their hopes up once again? What happens if we can't find her this time?" she replied.

"Go on Angel, call 'em" Doyle said. "Don't worry princess everything will work out. After all if it wasn't for you, we would still think she was dead".

While Doyle held Cordy, Angel dialled a number he had long since memorised.

~Ring, Ring~

"Hello" Giles said, wondering who would be calling him.

"Giles, it's me. Angel".

"Yes. How are you?" Giles asked, politely.

"Fine. Giles I need to tell you something".

"What?" Giles asked.

"We've heard from Buffy" Angel blurted out.

"How can that be? She's dead, the next slayer was called", Giles stammered, confused.

"I don't know the answers Giles" Angel said, wishing that he did.

"What do you know?"

"She called here and hung up, Cordy being a total snoop *69'd her and they fought. Which apparently led Buffy to her back and when she wasn't here, she left her a message on the machine" Angel replied.

"Thankyou for calling" Giles said, automatically. He was in shock, Buffy was alive.

"I'll call if we find anything" Angel told Giles.

"Fine, if you'd excuse me. I need to call the others" Giles said.

"Bye Giles"

"Goodbye Angel" Giles replied, hanging up.

Angel stared at the phone for a moment before putting it down. He turned back to Doyle and Cordy, "What are you doing standing around, we have work to do".

Having their orders they scurried off to follow them.

Giles sat impatiently waiting for everyone to arrive, he hadn't told them the news, just that he needed to see them immediately. When he couldn't take it anymore, he started to pace, and upon hearing a knock on the door pounced.

"Woah Giles. Try to cut down on the caffeine, huh?" Xander said, after Giles jumped out at him.

"Sorry. I'm just a little on edge".

"No kidding" Xander replied sarcastically, as he sat down.

Giles was about to comment, when Willow walked in with Joyce close behind.

"Ok", Giles said after they were seated. "Since we're all here I can start..."

Willow cut him off, "Spike isn't here yet".

"Oh yes. We can't leave old Chip-head out of the fun, can we?" Xander remarked, snidely.

That's the moment Spike chose to join them, "Sorry, I'm late. I had unexpected demon poundage".

"Alright. Now I can tell you" Giles said. "An hour ago I had a call from Angel..."

"How is Deadboy these days?" Xander interrupted rudely.

"Hey, I'm the one who gets to make the peaches jokes. After all he is my sire" Spike said, offend.

"A fact I'm sure he regrets more with each passing day" Xander said back.

Before a fight could break out, Giles yelled "He's heard from Buffy".

With that everyone froze, shock evident on their faces, all except for Spike.

"Does Peaches know where she is?" Spike asked, suddenly.

"No" Giles answered, "He's working on it".

"I say we go to LA and help him" Joyce said, knowing that she'd do just about anything, including helping Angel, to get Buffy back.

"I'm with Joyce on this one" Willow replied.

"Me too" Xander said.

"Sure" Spike answered quietly, unlike his usual self.

"Then I guess we're going to LA" Giles told them.

After everyone packed and got ready, it was almost three hours later that they arrived at Angel Investigations. They walked in to find Cordy on the phone, she waved at them and when she'd hung up escorted them to Angel's office, "He's expecting you".

"How did he..." Giles began.

"He just knew. We've been working since the call to try and track her down but we're having no luck". Cordy led the way into Angel's office, where Angel was sitting in the dark turbo brooding.

"They're here" Cordy said to him.

"You needn't of come" Angel said. "We can't find her, she covered her tracks too well".

Spike couldn't take it anymore, < Jeez, what's wrong with me? > he thought, < I'm supposed to be evil, not sooky >. He looked once more at everyone's dejected faces and quietly said, "I know where she is".
