AN: I *really* don't agree with all the things you are going to read.
But then, it's *not* my point of view.***

Why do they hate me so much? It's not as if I've committed thegreatest of all sins. What do they blame me for? Give 'Angel' his ownseries? Is that really SO bad? I just don't understand. When he stillwas in the BtVS show many claimed he wasn't given enough importance,and now that he is the main character they want to kill me! And don'tsay it isn't true. Do you really think I haven't read all those 'Ihate Joss', 'Joss is the Devil', and many other far less nice thingsabout me on the Net?

I just don't get it.

After 'Surprise' they wanted me to give him back his soul. Didn't Ido *exactly* that? It was not my fault if the plot demanded that'Buffy' had to kill him soon after. Would they have really preferredthe world sucked into Hell?? And then I brought him back!!! Even ifthat meant screwing my own plot I-brought-him-back. I even put Scottout of the picture!! And they still hated me!! Just because I didn'tchange the curse. But hey! What fun would have been seeing those twoscrewing around?? The show needed a bit of drama and it was eitherthat or to bring 'Angelus' back. But did they understand me?? Ofcourse not.

And then came the worst.

I admit I was a bit harsh. Making them break up in a sewer of allplaces... But didn't I leave a bit of hope in their hearts? The danceat the prom, the 'I am sorry-I love you' glance at the end. I evendidn't make them say goodbye. But of course, they still hated me,they called me a bastard and other things I really don't want toremember. They kept complaining that I had left 'Buffy' all alone andthe thing with Parker infuriated them even more. Then I brought'Riley' along. How couldn't they see that he was the perfect guy?Nice, good-looking, everything 'Angel' was except for the dark looksand the vampire thing. But did they like him? Did they even make aneffort to? NO. It didn't even serve that he was a type of warrior, ohno, they wanted him dead. I think there are more fics about his deaththan about the very Master's. They didn't even complain so much whenI made 'Oz' leave and then paired 'little-shy-cute Willow' with a*girl*.

Oh! And how can we forget the death threats in my mail after ' I WillRemember You'. I try to give them what they wanted and how do theypay me back? More insults. I really regret ever airing that episode.They just didn't deserve it.

Then came the whole Initiative thing. I really thought it was a goodidea. Doesn't everyone love 'X-Files'? What was wrong having thegovernment aware of *my* world's secrets? But they hated the idea asmuch as they hated Buffy's new boyfriend. They even wrote about'Buffy' destroying it *before* I even thought about it. The onlything that made them happy were the rumors about Riley transforminginto a monster of sorts; but when 'Buffy' didn't kill him they hatedme even more.

And now we are in Season 5.

Do they worry about Buffy's 'new sister'? Or about her mother'sillness? Does it matter that Buffy can't seem to defeat her newnemesis? Of course not. The only reaction I receive was when I make'Riley' *donate* his blood ( They were the first compliments since'What's my Line' ) and after 'Into the Woods'. Even that was mixed.Some congratulated me for 'having regained my mind' and some said itwas unfair to make Buffy the one to blame. I just don't understand. Imake the guy leave and even then they tell me I'm at fault. I don'tknow... if they keep being so nasty I just might bring Riley back.
