" The moon is out tonight, and so are the stars. They really are showing bright and big tonight. I wonder if he is watching them like I am. Angel and I both would wish upon the very same star. Every night It we would go out and wish on that very same star without in careses of what the future would bring. I guess we thought that the stars would keep us together somehow. But we ended up drifting away.......

Chapter 1

" Buffy!" come on we are going to be late" Buffts best friend Willow Rosenberg said.

" Oh I am sorry Will... I dont know If I feel like going. I mean what if he decides not to show? I mean the last conversation that I had with Angel turned out to be awful. I dont think I could handle him shutting me away any more.

" Buffy, Angel will be there tonight. I promise you. He promised me. I know Angel and he never lets anyone down. I know your scared on how things will turn out tonight, but you must give him a chance. You owe it to him, more importantly you owe it to yourself."

" That was nice Will. Your right. I wil never know what this night would have been like if I didnt show. And If he showed and I didnt show, well that would make me a coward."

"So what are we waiting for? Xander and Anya are waiting for us at the Bronze, so lets go.

"Yea, lets go! Buffy whispered to herself.

At the Bronze

" Hey its about time you two showed up", their best friend Xander said.

" Buffy was just a little nervous about coming tonight, you know the whole Angel thing."

" Oh I am just so tickled about seeing deadboy again" Xander said sarcasticaly

" I dont see him will. So you know what I think I am just going to go home, flip on the t.v and see if we have one of those idoits for a president yet. Maybe I can catch a rerun of 90210 instead."

" Buffy, no. Angel will be here. I am 100% sure of it . Now take a chill pill go order yourself a coke come back sit down and start having a good time. Got IT? "

" Geeze Willow when did you become all mom on me?" Buffy said followed by a laugh

" Ha ha very funny."

30 minutes later....

Flashback

"I want my life to be with you"..

" I don't....

"Buffy! earth to Buffy come in Buffy."

" I am sorry guys, I was just lost in thoughts."

" About Angel?" Anya said.

" Yea. He is 30 minutes late. He is not coming. Everytime when Angel and I met he wouldn't be this late. So I am going to call it a night

" Buffy turn around. Willow said excited.

" Angel. Buffy said barely a whisper.

" Buffy. Angel said.

" Don't just stand there, Buffy go to him."Buffy and Angel met half way, Angel held out his strong muscular arms out. And Buffy ran fast into them as if she was never going to let him ever leave her again.

" I love you Angel so much.

" I love you too Buffy, and Buffy?"

" Yes Angel?"

" Have a little faith in me."
