Okay, with the recent repeat of IWRY, I thought that I'd send this poem I wrote about it when it aired the first time. I know I sent it to BuffyAngel4ever, but I can't remember if I did to RKHU, so if you're on those lists, this will be a repost for you.
This is an unsent poem, we wrote them in English during my junior year and I really liked them and so when IWRY aired I wrote this even though it had been like 6 months since I wrote the ones for class. If you don't know what an unsent poem is, it's basically a letter in poem form that is written, but never sent to the person it's written to, hence the title unsent poem.

"I'll never forget. I'll never forget . . .," you whisper,
Your eyes, brimming with tears, begging me to stop the clock,
but I can't.
My heart aches for the peace we shared just moments ago
and yet mine is the only one to be without it.
You'll forget
your heart will never know the joy
and the day will be swallowed
releasing you from the memory.
Only I will remember the most perfect,
most wonderful day,
you'll forget despite all your words and whispers,
despite all your tears you'll forget.
Never, ever remembering the warmth of the sun
on my cheeks as I held you.
I'll remember,
for the rest of my life, I'll remember.
The satiny touch of your skin,
the sweet smell that envelopes you, I'll remember.
You'll forget the tear streaked words, "I felt your heartbeat,
The heart beneath warm skin that beats for you
only to relinquish life
to the cold uncertainties of ceaselessness.
You'll forget,
I'll never forget, my love, never.
