Soft hazel eyes awoke to meet dark brown ones, causing her body to jolt. Rolling away, Buffy stood, turning around so she could look down at the vampire from a safe distance. She hadn't expected to wake up pressed to the line of his body through the bars.

Her body didn't mind it though.

Angelus' didn't seem to mind either.

He laid there, on his back watching her in a tense quiet. His tentative smile, had her fingers grappling for her scar, wondering if he had reopened it in her stupidity of sleeping so near him. All her fingers found though, was slightly rough skin. Buffy looked away in shame as she licked her lips.

"What are you thinking?" Angelus intoned huskily.

"If you want the truth-"

"-Oh yes, I want the truth. No lies Buffy. What are you thinking?"

"Of your body and how its been so long."

"Too long…"

Buffy nodded, shifting slightly looking at the shelves on the far side of the room, before looking down to meet his unwavering gaze.

"Too long…" she echoed.

A bedeviled grin crossed his lips, promising only the fulfillment of secret hidden fantasies. Angelus stood, his shoulders slouched slightly as he looked at her.

"You could join me in this cage for some carnal delights."

"Tempting…very tempting…"

Angelus stared at her before replying, "But you won't join me in the performing of our wicked lusty thoughts."

He watched her eye him up and down, immensely grateful that his pesky soul had at least learned to dress appropriately. He was wearing his custom leather pants and his come hither smirk. She wouldn't be able to resist him.

"And how do I know this isn't a trick?" Buffy questioned softly with mistrust sounding out with every syllable.

"How do you know it isn't?"

"Why?" She asked distraught, edging closer to the bars, wrapping her hands tightly around his.

Angelus looked into her confused eyes with his own, before he broke the contact and rested his head against hers, the feel of the cold metal pressing against him taking away from the moment.

"Because you're the only thing real anymore."

Angelus heard a loud sniff, his eyes springing to the noise, and he was there gazing upon her when her eyes got suspiciously bright. He stayed quiet despite the retorts he knew he should have been saying.

"How do I get in there without giving you a chance to get out?"

Angelus laughed, his eyes glowing with bright amusement. Pulling his hands out from underneath Buffy's hands, he stepped back and motioned to the corner.

"I'll be a good boy and stay in the corner."

"Somehow I don't see you doing that."

"Ah," Angelus teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief, "You know me too well my slayer."

"Silver tongued, very suave."

"Of course, I can't woo you any other way can I? I don't think still beating hearts would win your love."

Buffy laughed, walking with him around the cage, following where he went, eyeing him. She tried to see what was inside his head, what thoughts he was thinking, but she honestly couldn't tell.

"Love Angelus?"

"And lots of fucking with that love."

A deep blush colored Buffy's cheeks as she took a step back, and another, edging as far away from the cage as she could get without appearing to be running away.

"You're insane…" she breathed.

"Deeply, madly, truly…"

He watched her swallow thickly, and glance up to the monitor. An evil grin lit up his eyes with merry devilment, as he leaned in towards the bars whispering loudly.

"Think their stunned in bafflement up there?"

Buffy's attention snapped back to him, her eyes wide, her voice hesitant, "When are you going to talk about the beast?"

Angelus nodded, letting out a small "Ah." Throwing his hands out wide, he spoke quiet sincerely, "When you're in the cage with me."

Buffy seemed to gain back some of her courage, as she walked over and passed the red line. A wicked gleam in her eyes accompanied her coquettish tone, "Reciprocity."

"What?" Angelus asked confused.

"You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours."

"But how can I trust you? You might just take the information and go upstairs and then where will I be?"

"Still in the cage," Buffy said with a smile.

"That was rhetorical."

She shrugged, reaching through the bars for him. Puzzled at her boldness, Angelus took her hand in his, and let her pull him to the bars. Their clothes were brushing up against each other. Buffy made a motion to draw him closer to hear her words.

"Tit for tat," was all she said before pressing her lips against his.

Angelus didn't question the kiss, he just wrapped his arms around her and pulled her as close to his body as the bars would allow. Her fingers scrapped his skull as his entwined with hers. The kiss had started almost tenderly, but the nature of it changed, becoming a very demanding and near brutal kiss.

When she pulled back, her lips were red and wet from the force of the kiss, but she was grinning sweetly at him. Although her eyes told a different tale, Buffy was very pleased with herself, Angelus could see. He held tight to her loose clothing, refusing to let her go now that she was in his arms.

Angelus leaned in and whispered in a velvet voice by her ear, "He left a trail of carnage for me to follow in Prussia, wanting my help with something."

"Is that all?"

"Next time you're going to have to be in the cage."

"Next time you're going to have to divulge more information there Angelus."

"My pleasure," he murmured, before taking her lips again in tender kiss and stepping away.

"Now go upstairs Buffy and tell them what I said to you."

"You're giving me orders?" She asked, as she turned away from him to go towards the stairs.

"My orders from here on out are only going to be more intimate."

As Buffy reached the door, she looked over her shoulder and teased him ruthlessly, "I don't like audiences."

Then she was gone and didn't hear the reply of her demon.

"Neither do I. Neither do I."
