"Thud!"

Forrest whirled as a huge net full of fish fell on top of Riley. Huh. he thought. Oh well.

He walked on into the night.

Riley and Buffy kept their weapons level on each other. All of a sudden, a knife stuck through from his back. He crumpled to the floor, dead.

Buffy looked up to see Faith. The dark haired Slayer grinned and shrugged. Then, as the demons attacked, she whirled. The two started killing demons left and right.

The ceiling above them collapsed, narrowly missing the two Slayers. The box holding the voices was smashed amongst the falling beams.

Buffy screamed. The demons popped like balloons.

"Sorry 'bout that." said Faith, waving at Riley's corpse.

"Oh well." said Buffy. "He was starting to annoy me anyway. You hungry?"

"Famished. Let's go."

Riley was slammed back against the wall. The demon lifted it's knife.

Just as the knife pierced Riley's heart, the demon's head popped. The box had been broken. And miles away in LA, Cordelia was shrieking.

Hey, she is the self-proclaimed Princess of Sunnydale.

Buffy screamed.

Riley's head popped like a balloon.

"You were a demon?" Buffy said in disbelief, staring down at his body. "Too bad, commando boy."

As Riley was about to kiss Buffy, something grabbed his neck. And twisted. He fell to the ground in a heap.

Angel took Buffy in his arms, and kissed her long and hard.

Willow focused her power. Just as the blonde with huddled next to her grasped her hands, Riley appeared in a shimmer of light. The pop machine slammed into him, and ran straight into the demons bursting through the door.

Spike winced as Riley hit him over the head. As the commando moved in, he blinked. Reaching out, he grabbed Riley, and bit down on his neck, sucking him dry.

"Thanks!" he told the commando as he sauntered off.

Anya blinked.

"I wish a lightening bolt could just put me out of my misery." Riley wrote on his piece of paper.

"Done."

ZAP!

The gas filled the elevator. Strangely enough, it only harmed Riley. He choked to death.

The doors to the underground base slid open, and Forrest stepped out. As scientists dragged Riley's body away, he took his place at the table.

A werewolf jumped out of nowhere. Riley died a very messy death at the fangs and claws of Oz-wolf.

"Good boy." Buffy told him, patting his head approvingly.

Riley screamed as the knife impaled him. The ghost of Jenny Calender looked down at her telekinetic handywork, and grinned.

Xander threw his messageboard out the window. It struck a telephone pole, bounced off a crashed car. It gained momentum as it zoomed through Sunnydale.

Riley never saw it coming as his head was neatly severed at the neck.
