Timeline: 6th season BtVS/ 3rd season A:ts
Feedback: I'd appreciate it.
Distribution: Just ask
Author's Note: IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ--First of all, let's pretend that Gunn and Fred have already met everyone from the Sunnydale gang. Second of all, this story isn't a sequel to any of the previous tales. It might have similarities, but that's just because I wanted it to be that way, to have all three stories I wrote to be connected. (There are spoilers about 6th season BtVS in the author's note, but the eps have already been aired, so if you haven't seen some eps from this season yet don't read this, but it will be hard to understand the story if you don't.) Okay, Willow never went crazy with her magic. Well, let's just say she went a little crazy for the sake of the story, but Dawn was never hurt. So, she, Buffy, and Dawn and everyone else are still ok. Tara still left, I don't have a reason for it, make one up if it bother's you, say she's visiting someone. Spike and Buffy never slept together. In fact he isn't even in this. Angel doesn't know about Connor. Connor and Darla are out of the picture of this story.
++Buffy's Bedroom/Sunday, December 23, 2001/8:35 A.M++
Buffy woke up a few days before Christmas, December 20th to be exact. She looked out her window for a second then turned around groggily to walk to the bathroom.
She stopped, as if time froze. Buffy turned around slowly. She walked to the window and pushed the curtains aside.
There is was. There was more that anyone would've ever imagined. It was the most white, glittering snow anyone had ever seen.

Angel sat in his living room and turned on the news. The gang was going to find a slither demon, but the demon lives above ground. So, Angel wanted to know how easy was it going to be for him to get to the demon. He wanted to check the weather forecast.
"A freak snowstorm hovered above Sunnydale, California overnight. It looks like Sunnydale, won't see sunlight for a week at this rate. But this isn't the first time Sunnydale has seen snow, folks. No, in 1998,..." Angel stopped listening to the TV.
Quickly he grabbed a few things, put it in a bag and called the others on his cellphone on his way to his car.

"What is going on here?" cried Cordelia, walking through the door. Gunn, Wesley, Fred, and Angel followed.
Willow, Xander, Anya, and Dawn stood in the back of the store. There were piles of books on the table, the floor, and chairs.
"You know, there isn't a single demon around who has the power to make it snow in this climate," announced Willow.
"It could've been witchcraft," replied Anya.
"Hey, I haven't touched the magicks for three weeks. Except to get rid of the Hymlygack demon, but that was extremely necessary."
"I don't think she meant you Will," Xander tried.
"Yes I did, she--"
"Anya! That's enoungh of your theories."
"So, is this a bad time?" asked Gunn. "Cuz we just came to help."
"Sorry, " replied Willow. "Help would be great."
"Where's Buffy?" asked Angel.
"She's surveying the town, seeing how bad things are," replied Willow.
"I'm going to go find her." Angel turned and left the building.

++Streets of Sunnydale, California/Sunday, December 23, 2001/12:43P.M++
Buffy walked down another street. Everything seemed to be fine, except for the fact that there was a foot of snow on the ground. Buffy decided she had walked around enough. It was time to head back to the Magic Box.
"Buffy!" someone called behind her.
Buffy turned around just in time to see Angel slip and fall.
"Angel!" Buffy jogged over to him and helped him stand up. "What happened?"
"It's been awhile since I've had to worry about there being ice on the ground."
"Are you okay?" Buffy asked trying not to laugh.
"It's not funny."
"I'm not laughing...I'm not...What? Don't give me that look!"
"What look?"
"The one that's on your face, the 'don't-make fun-of-me-because-I'm-a-idiot look.'
"Okay, okay, that's enough of that."
"Fine." She said seriously, but she looked down and soon started to laugh.

++Streets of Sunnydale, California/Sunday, December 23, 2001/12:59P.M++
Buffy had finally calmed down and Angel vowed to get her back. Then Angel told her why he was in Sunnydale.
"So, you have any idea what's going on?" Buffy asked.
"Not a clue."
Buffy and Angel slowly, walked to the Magic Box.
On the way there they were stopped and noticed a few snowmen in the middle of the sidewalk. The townspeople walked around them, afraid the sculptor would get mad if something happened to the artwork.
"These snowmen look so real," started Buffy.
"Life-like, even," replied Angel.
They passed the snowmen and kept going.
Almost at the Magic Box, Buffy and Angel walked on.
Near an alley, they heard someone yell for help.
"Come on," Buffy told Angel as they headed for the alley.
They got there just in time to see a girl standing there.
"What's wrong?" Buffy asked quickly.
"I can't move," the girl cried.
"What?" Angel asked.
"I'm frozen."
Then, the girl started to change. There were blue and silver sparkles. When the sparkles were gone, all that was left of the girl was a snowman (or snowwoman to be precise.)

++The Magic Box/Sunday, December 23, 2001/1:16P.M++
"Guys!" Buffy yelled as she entered the Magic Box. "We have a little problem."
Buffy and Angel went to the back of the Magic Box. No one was there.
"It's cold in here," Angel announced. "But the door was closed."
"There's a back door," replied Buffy.
They walked though the training area to the back alleyway door.
There were six snowpeople there. Willow and Gunn were setting one snowperson down on the ground.
"Buffy!" Willow yelled. "You're okay!"
"We have a little problem," announced Gunn. "Wesley, Cordelia, Fred, Xander, Anya, and Dawn have turned into snowme--people."
"We put them out here because they started to melt inside," finished Willow.
"Do you have any idea what's going on?" Gunn asked.
"No, but the whole town is turning into snow...people. And I'd rather not find out what happens if they melt."

Ethan Rayne walk over to a window.
"Old Ripper has gone back to England. You won't be able to protect the slayer now. Finally, I'll be rid of that menacing girl."

++The Magic Box/Sunday, December 23, 2001/6:24P.M++
The phone started to ring in the shop.
Willow got up to answer it.
"Hello, hello?" said the voice on the other end.
"Giles?" Willow cried. Buffy stood up instantly.
"Willow, I just found out. Remember, a long while ago, the Initiative took Ethan Rayne into their custody?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, when the Initiative fell apart, Ethan got away and came to England."
"So?"
"When he found out I had come here, I think he decided he could face Buffy again. I think he's coming after you. Be careful. Is anything odd happening there?" Giles asked Willow. "I have to go, Willow. I'll get back to you with more information when I can."
Willow hung up the phone.
"What did he say?" Buffy asked.
"Guys, it's Ethan, Ethan Rayne. He's the one doing this."
But suddenly Willow turned into a snowwoman.
"Willow!" Buffy cried.
"Let's get her outside," Gunn suggested.
As they set Willow down with the others, someone ran through the alley and hit Buffy on the head with a club. She fell to the ground, unconscience. Instantly, Angel and Gunn turned into snowmen.

++The Old Factory in Sunnydale, California/Monday, December 24, 2001/9:17P.M++
Buffy woke up and found herself chained to a pillar in the factory.
"Buffy?" Angel asked.
Buffy jumped at the sight. Angel was, well, Angel, but completely made of snow. He was in a cage about a few yards away.
"Sorry, I was just to see you like that."
"It's fine, Ethan put a spell on me so I could move around like this. But are you okay? He hit you pretty hard, there was a lot of blood."
"I feel fine. A little tired, but I'll live."
"AND, so the princess awakes," bellowed Ethan walking into the room.
"ETHAN! When I get out of here, I'm gonna--"
"Going to what? I've got your soulmate, princess. There isn't much you can do, unless you want him to turn into a puddle."
"Well you obviously want something, otherwise we would all be dead by now, what is it?"
"I'm not a cold killer. All I want out of the way is you. But I don't want for us to fight and let me win. I want you to surrender yourself. So, if you don't give up right now. I'll melt your lover over there. And if you still don't give up, tomorrow morning, when the sun rises, all of your friends will turn into puddles, along with the rest of this wretched town. I'm just upset, Ripper had to miss it all."
Buffy stopped for a moment. She looked at the ground and thought, no one had called Angel her lover and soulmate for so long, it caught her offguard.
Ethan started a fire.
Still looking at the ground, she asked, "What will you do if I give up?"
"I'll turn everyone else back. Turn you into a snowslayer, and watch you melt away in this very fire."
Buffy looked up. There was nothing else she could do.
"Okay," she whispered.
"What was that, speak up slayer?"
"Okay," she said again.
"My hearing isn't what it used to be."
"I give up, okay!! Now turn everyone back and let them go!"
"Buffy, no!" Angel yelled.
"I'm not worth you guys. If you work together, you could do a lot more good, than I could do alone."
"It doesn't matter, you can't die again, Buffy," Angel yelled. "I won't be able to take it."
Ethan started the reversing incantations.
"I'm sorry," Buffy replied.
"Buffy..."Angel trained off.
"I love you," Buffy whispered as she turned into a frozen snowslayer.
Suddenly, there were bells ringing off in the background. And a minute later, the actual Santa Clause entered the factory.
"Ethan, what's wrong with you! I give you a magic set for Christmas in '55 and look what your up to now! You should be ashamed of youself. I wouldn't be surprised if you find coal under the tree in the morning."
"Santa?" Ethan was shocked.
"You know what, you need special punishment for all the problems you have caused over the years. Ethan Rayne, congratulations, you just became one of my new elves. Now, change everyone back, and let them go. It's almost midnight and your going to help me deliver presents this year."
Ethan just stood there.
"I said, MOVE IT!," Santa shouted.
Ethan quickly reversed the spell, he unlocked Angel's cage door and then untied Buffy. She was weaked from the spell and fell to the ground. Angel ran to her side.
Angel looked up and saw Santa pulling Ethan by the ear, out to his sleigh, which Angel only had a glimpse of. After they left, Angel picked Buffy up and carried her back to her house.

++The Summers Residence/Monday, December 24, 2001/11:32P.M++
Angel didn't see any snowpeople on the way to the house, but apparently Santa left the snow on the ground to give Sunnydale their second white Christmas ever.
The entire gang was there and back to normal. Gunn, Welsey, Fred, and Cordelia were sleeping in seperate areas of the living room. Anya and Xander stayed in Dawn's room, while Dawn slept on a cot in Willow's room. Angel carried Buffy to her room and put her down so she could sleep.

++The Summers Residence/Tuesday, December 25, 2001/7:21P.M++
Buffy woke up in Angel's arms. She looked around and found the wound, from Ethan, on her head had healed.
"Angel?" Buffy shook him.
"What?" he complained.
"It's Christmas," she whispered back.
Angel opened his eyes. "Come on, let's go see what Santa brought us."
Soon, everyone in the Summer's home had gathered around the tree and was passing presnts to each other. They turned on the radio to listen to Christmas music.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
"Buffy, Angel this one is for you two," Dawn said as she passed along a little red box.
Buffy opened it, and all there was, was a little note saying 'Merry Christmas, From Santa'.
"That was cheap," announced Cordelia.
But suddenly, Angel started to glow. He started to pant as if he had just run a marathon.
"Angel, you're breathing!" cried Buffy.
"I'm alive," Angel looked at Buffy.
"Wait, there's something on the back of the little note. It says 'Angel, I left you your vampire strength so you won't have the same problem you had that one Thanksgiving," Buffy finished. "What did that mean?"
Angel just looked away, and smiled.
"I love you, Buffy," Angel replied.
Buffy looked into Angel's eyes. "I love you, too." She smiled.
