DISCLAIMER: I own none of these characters ::sniff:: except Katrinah and the storyline. The rest belong to Joss Whedon. NOW if I did own the rest of the characters, life would be very nice. Anyway, that's I have to say.
TIMELINE: 4th Season
AUTHOR'S NOTES: A sorta short fic. I wrote it while I was camping (I was really bored). It's sorta weird, but it works.
FEEDBACK: Please be nice when you send it.
RATING: probably G

As Katrinah stepped into the small space of chairs that she knew she was to meet these people. She knew of most of them, Willow was the one with red hair, Giles the one with the glasses with his nose in a book, Oz the one with the funky hair, Xander the one mooching around the most, and Anya the one that followed him. Angel had told her this, she being Riley's sister and all. She had to see them and Angel somehow knew that they knew about him and his whereabouts.

"Um, excuse me?"

All heads turned in her direction. They looked at her with curiosity.

"Can I help you?" said Giles.

"Yeah, hi," Katrinah said sticking out her hand to greet him formally. "My name's Katrinah Finn."

"Uh, yes, hello," Giles said shaking her hand. "You are Riley's sister, I presume."

"Yeah," she said. "Do you by chance know where he is?"

"With Buffy," she heard Xander murmur.

"I've heard of Buffy," she said turning to him. "I've heard a great deal about her and have a message for her."

"Someone talkin' about me?"

Everyone turned, including Katrinah to see who the voice was. 'So this is Buffy' thought Katrinah. 'Angel certainly has taste. As does my brother.'

"Hi," Katrinah said brightly. "My name's Katrinah. I'm Riley's sister."

Buffy's mind clicked and she smiled slightly.

"Yeah, hey," she said.

"Where is he?" Katrinah muttered.

"Where's who?" Buffy asked. "Riley?"

"No," she said. "The man who's been helping me since my stupid brother hasn't been sending me money for my things. He took me out shopping and everything! It was awesome."

"Who's this man?" asked Buffy.

"Oh," Katrinah said, slightly embarrassed by her stupidity. "His name's Angel."

"And what time did he take you out shopping?" asked Giles.

"Around two o'clock in the afternoon, why?"

Everyone seemed to have confused looks on their faces and it confused Katrinah why they did.

"That's weird, why?" she asked.

"Um, ah," Giles was stumbling over words.

"Oh!" she said finally getting it. "The part about him being a vampire! No duh! He got rid of that like two or three months ago. Some stupid demon called a Morra demon. Made him mortal. Pretty cool, huh?"

Katrinah saw Riley come into the room and turned to greet him.

"Morning, Riley," she said smiling at him. "I've missed you."

The look on his face was priceless.

Katrinah sat around a table in Giles' home as everyone discussed the latest problem on hand. The reason Katrinah was here was because a pack on demons called the "Pack of Five" had moved to Sunnydale after Angel had ran them down. They were now moving onto Sunnydale for some more "fun" as Angel put it.

"So," said Xander. "Where is Angel, Katrinah?"

"You know what?" asked Katrinah annoyed. "I haven't the slightest clue, so sorry."

Xander glared at her before returning to his book.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Katrinah went to open it.

"Hey, Angel," she said as she opened the door. "Nice to see you again."

Angel stepped into the room and, as usual everyone noted, dressed in black.

Everyone, except Riley, could see Buffy's eyes travel down his body.

"So, Angel," Xander drawled. "How *did* you and Katrinah meet?"

"Katrinah," Angel said gesturing to her. "Came to me for a job. She had a very wide vocabulary and memory of demons she's encountered and know about. I gave her a job to help me. She seems to be a Slayer."

Riley's eyes turned to his sister.

There was silence in the room as everyone stared at the future Slayer.

"Uh, uh," said Buffy, getting up. "You know, I have a history test to study for, you know. I'm gonna go. See you all later."

"I'll walk you to your dorm," Angel said, looking at her.

"Sure," Buffy said smiling. "We can catch up on… stuff."

Buffy pulled Angel out of the doorway.

Katrinah smiled at their need to be together as Riley looked hopefully at them. Everyone answered him at once.

"I knew this would happen."

"Sorry, man."

"Typical guy."

"Finally!"

"Go, Angel."

Riley groaned as Katrinah smiled in triumph. Served her brother right!

"Hey guys," said Buffy, as she came to greet them at the space of chairs they were sitting at again. Everyone turned to look at her, Riley with the most intensity. "Um, yeah," she said. "Riley I'm really sorry, but I love Angel, and now that he's human, I want to break up and Angel and I are getting married!"

Buffy held out a diamond ring. Willow gasped at how big it was and Anya muttered about how typical it was for a guy to mark women as theirs. Oz, Giles, and Xander congratulated them. Katrinah smiled and said, "I've got something to tell all of you. Since Riley managed to keep his mouth shut I'll tell you all," she swallowed hard. "Riley knows I've been dead for several years, since I was twelve," everyone gaped at her. "I was sent by the Powers That Be to help Buffy and Angel get back together. I know they've never favored you before, but they notice you made a great team and sent me to do it. So, I'm sorry Riley for coming back to do this to you, but the Powers would not take no for an answer."

Riley nodded in understanding as everyone stared at her. She looked so real to them, like she was not a ghost.

"Well," she said sheepishly. "Time for my 'solidness' to demolish. Buffy and Angel," she said with a smile. "Be good to each other. Maybe I'll be back for the wedding."

The last the heard from her was a little girl laugh and then nothing.
