On the map there is a place called Sunnydale
On that afternoon, when I sat there
It was so warm and sunny,
The air smelled sweeter then honey.
The sun shone with all it’s might,
But not strong enough to hide the night
The night that lurks around every corner
And I think of times, when life was warmer.
Life was great, before I became the Slayer.
All the creatures I have fought, even the mayor
But maybe I don’t want to fight
Maybe I just want to be young and light
To be a regular, everyday american schoolgirl
Maybe I don’t want to slay vampires and save the world
But there was something else I wanted each moment,
Something I didn’t even notice until it showed it.
I didn’t care, how it could be
I just hoped, that he still loved me
It just seemed so right
