*She stood in a large room. Bigger than any room she had ever been in. There was a soft white color all around. Giant pillars stood, holding up a ceiling that she could not see. There was a portal up the stairs. She had a thought that beyond that portal was a final resting place.

Two golden and blue figures stood before her. A women and a man with crisp blue eyes.

"Hello young spell caster."

They both said at the same time.

"Um, hi." She squeaked.

"You know of the coming battle, yes?" The women asked, with a hint of concern.

"The End of Days?" She asked, "Yes, Angel told me."

"Angelus, great warrior. Possibly one of the best. He will need help. Here is what you will do. We will give you a strong and powerful warrior. They will be able to help you with the battle." The women explained.

"How? And who is it?" She asked.

"Who, you will know soon enough. And how, we will tell you." The man spoke up. The women looked at him sharply, warning him with her eyes to be quiet and not give anything away.

"You will do an invocation, and give an offering to the Gods." The women started.

"What kind of offering?" She asked.

"One might say an animal. Another might say a jewel. Whatever is of value will be taken." The male said again, ignoring the piercing glare of the women.

"Yes, as I was saying, an invocation, an offer, and a prayer." The women summed up.

"A prayer?" She asked.

"Yes, we understand you've lost a loved one, a great warrior." The women said.

"Buffy…" She whispered.

"Yes, the Slayer. She gives her best. Give her a prayer and the warrior should come forth." The women said.

"Is that all?" She asked.

"Yes, and good luck to you and yours." The women said, the man nodding.

A blinding flashed burned her eyes and Willow woke up.

A WEEK AFTER HER DREAM

"An invocation, you say?" Wesley asked, looking up from his book.

"Yes, that's what they said. We have to do this, they're right. We need help. With Buffy…gone, Angel can't do this on his own." Willow said, looking at Giles and seeing he was getting ready to leave.

She gathered her supplies and followed Giles out the door with Wesley at their feet.

They walked to an open part of the park. They had a clear view of the starry night.

"We need to light the white candles first, then the black." Willow said, looking at the book.

Giles and Wesley did that.

"Now we need to get the powder and make a triangle. And put the candles at the middle and the pints." Willow said as she helped with that.

"I believe we need to sit at the points and join hands." Wesley said, stating the obvious.

"Yeah, come on." Willow murmured as they say.

"Gods. We who are your children. We call upon you to beg our plea. We ask you for assistance in the battle which draws near. A warrior. Born of light, fighting of the night. We ask you to send him to help us. We give you this offering as a trade. A life for a life."

Willow chanted, her eyes closed in concentration.

Giles spread the blood of a deer over the candle in the middle and Wesley put chunks of meat around it.

Giles started to pray.

"Buffy, we lost you suddenly and quickly. We only wish we could say goodbye this time. Rest in peace." Giles whispered.

A lightening bolt zig zagged to the ground and hit the blood covered candle . A bright light appeared and knocked everyone to their back. Two figures came and were visible from the after shock of the flash.

A man and women.

The man was not familiar.

They women they all knew.

"Buffy…."
