Summory: Buffy's final thoughts.
Disclaimer: If I owned anything, Buffy would have given birth to her first child with Angel. But, since he's in LA and she's dead, they can't copulate (in Anya's words)and reproduce.

You know how they say when you die your life flashes before your eyes? Well, mine has, or actually is. I'm about 15 feet above the portal, so I still have time to reflect. I've had a pretty good life. Despite what I may say. Normal was no part of it, and most of the time I was completely happy. I say or said I guess now, that slaying is a burden that I got stuck with, but it's not. I mean think of what it brought me..my friends, Willow, Xander, Giles. My little sister Dawn. And the love of my life..Angel. Of course it also took away some things..social life, chance to be normal, my life.

Okay, but let's break those things down (remember I used to be a psychology student)

Social life: I still have one, with my friends, okay I never got to date, but who needs to date when you have to take care of a 15 year old, and you've already found the guy of your dreams.

Normal: There is no specific definition of normal. Demons, stakes, vampires are norms to a Slayer. So there I do have my normal.

The life part is the only part that sucks. So, many things I never got to do before I die. I have very few regrets, though. Nothing big enough to make a fuss about, but there are a few.I never got to have children, I didn't order that George Forman Grill..I didn't get to kiss Angel one last time. Okay, I did but, that was like a month ago, and I didn't know I was gonna die.

Oh, God, How is he gonna take this news? I know if I got news that he had..I would be on the brink of my sanity. I hope he doesn't go see the sunrise or accidentally fall on the pointy end of a stake.

Oh, boy here it comes, geesh 15 ft. sure comes fast.

I take my last deep breath and whisper the only thing that will comfort me in my last seconds.

"Angel."
