Vienna, 1808

"Christmas again?" Lilith sighed, flopping back onto Angelus' chest. Her hair matted to her sweaty back. The sun had just rose about an hour ago, and with great discomfort, Lilith realized what day it would be tomoroow.

"Ah, love," Angelus started, beads of sweat falling down his neck, a big smile on his face, "why are you always troubled around Christmas?"

"I don't enjoy the holiday much." Lilith confessed, "I never did when I was alive, and I sure as hell am not gonna enjoy it while I'm dead."

Angelus brushed some of her hair away from her face, "What exactly were you when you were human?"

"What?" Lilith placed her chin on his chest.

"What were you as a human?" Angelus asked, running his fingers up and down her back.

"Honestly?" Lilith tilted her head to the side, "I was the daughter of a accused witch and farmer."

"A witch, eh?" Angelus proded.

"Yes," Lilith murmured, "I believe she was a real one, too. She taught me when I was six, until I realized what I did was wrong." She rolled her eyes, "My soul had powers at the tip of her fingers and she refused to use that power. And with my soul gone, I cannot even work a simple spell. The powers belonged to the soul."

"My angel of the night without her powers?" Angelus pulled her closer, "Don't you think I make up for it?"

"Mmm," Lilith sighed. Leaning forward, she licked the small droplets of sweat off his neck. Sitting up again, the sheets clinging to her skin, "Want an encore?" Then made a slow rotation with her hips.

Angelus growled.

Lilith smiled, "Merry Christmas."

She giggled when his eyes rolled back into his head.

Dublin, 1838

"Tell me, love," Lilith started, dressed in warm clothing, a muff covering her tiny hands, her pink, pouty lips matching the shade of her cheeks after she finished off the young man's fiancee, "would you really have settled for his money if he had it?"

Angelus laughed, dropping Daniel's dead body on the ground. Several weeks ago he had met him at a party, playing cards. Angelus had won, and Daniel had become indebted to him. He learned of his fiancee, Anna. Of how Daniel was a hard working business man.

"What do you think?" Angelus chuckled, pulling his lover close.

"I thought so," Lilith nestled into his embrace, "How does it feel to be home?"

Angelus guided her toward their hotel, "Like having my first meal..."

"Duana Connery invited us to her Christmas Eve banquet." Lilith gazed up at him, "There should be many young servants there... who could resist Angelus Lunn?" She chuckled at the name he had taken from a child he had killed many years ago.

"Why, I do not know Lilith Lunn," He ignored the singing carorals, "I have yet to meet her..."

"Where should we go?" Lilith inquired, "You know that I would like to leave right after Christmas."

"Hmm," Angelus thought, "I'm tired of drunken lads and whores... and I swore to you that we would never go back to France... wretched country..."

"Why not Rome?" Lilith suggested as Angelus nodded to the man in the lobby of the hotel, "We had fun there the last time, and they are so ignorant of creatures of the night."

"Perhaps," Angelus said, planting a kiss on her hand as they entered there room.

Lilith slipped out of her coat, and muffs, and lazily stretched out on the bed, gazing up at him, "Mmm... maybe I could persuade you?"

Angelus laughed, and with vampiric speed, he was on her. Devouring her lips with his vampire teeth.

She sighed, watching him corner his prey, dressed in his finest.

She wore lovely garnets around her neck, and velvet. Roses and pearls adorned her shiny locks. Lilith sighed glancing around the room. Women and thier escorts moved from one part of the room, to the next. Laughing, and chatting away.

Stupid lambs.

Lilith stood next to the small buffet table, glancing at the punch bowl that had lemon slices swimming it. Milk and water...

"Has my Christmas angel grown weary without me?"

"Angelus, love," Lilith sighed, taking his outstretched arm, "I wasn't able to finish my last meal..."

Angelus looked at her.

"He kept looking at me while I was trying to eat," Lilith pouted, "It was really very impolite."

"My last meal has a son," Angelus said, taking her hand.

"Mmm," Lilith grinned, "A little treat should fill me for the night..."

"For such a tiny little thing, beloved, you sure have quite the appetite." Angelus commented, leading her up the stairs.

She laughed, "Well, I do tend to work off blood and sweat when I'm with you, dearest."

Without warning, Angelus pulled her into a room, and shut the door behind them. He let his hands do the wlaking for him, making her gasp.

"I intended to give you your Christmas gift earlier," He whispered into her ear.

"I would greatly enjoy that," Lilith replied, brining her arms around him, "But I have news that you might wish to know..."

"What might that be?" Angelus asked, playing with the string to her dress.

Lilith batted her eyes up at him, "It's laying at home... waiting next to the fire place... crying for poor father who I wasn't able to finish... It is Christmas..." She touched his cheek, "I thought we could let her spend Christmas with us... after all... you haven't had a good virgin toy in ages..."

He chuckled into her neck, scraping his teeth against the pale skin, "Lilith... you know my heart better than anyone..."

She smiled, licking his lips and kissing him passionately. She ran her hands up and down his back, enjoying the feel of him. Glad that she had him still, and the he needed her.

That she was needed.

Pulling away, and licking his wounded tongue that she had bitten while they had kissed, she sighed, "Merry Christmas, Angelus."

He smiled, "And a happy new year..."

Lilith giggled, pushing him to the floor and joining him with equal passion.

The End.
