Sired

Rated: Hmm... I hate rating stuff R. It makes me feel so dirty! And I hardly rate anything R, so lets say... mature audience. We are talking about Angelus here, right?
Disclaimer: No belongy to me-y. In other words, I own didly squat!
Spoilers: Let's see.... ah... maybe you should read the challenge, yeah, that will help!
Dristibuation: On any B/A fic site, I don't care, just let me know, okay?
Summery: Okay this is an AU, so read the little challenge thingy below, that should be a good summary the way it is.
Challenge By Ally:
Darla, before her trip to Ireland, had also sired another young woman named Lilith (who will later be known as "Buffy"). They both take a trip to Ireland in the 1700's.
While there, Lilith sires Angelus instead of Darla. However, Darla takes a liking to him too and so, they travel through Europe together and wreak havoc wherever possible.
Nearly a century later while in Romani, both Lilith and Angelus get cursed by the Kalderalsh gypsies and each go their seperate ways.
In the year of 1997, they meet.
Angelus, now known as Angel, meets Whistler and makes the decision to help the Slayer, Faith. (he doesn't have romantic feelings for her though). He then later moves to Sunnydale.
Lilith, now known as Buffy, has also met Whistler and she is intent on stopping Darla, Luke and the Master from opening the hellmouth (or something close to that). The PTB wanted to put Buffy and Angel together, hence, the Whistler interference.
Requirements:
1. Darla and Lilith start to hate each other (they often fight over Angelus).
2. Drusilla was never created and neither was Penn. However, Angelus (or Darla perhaps) sires Spike.
3. Both Buffy and Angel are going to have to be portrayed as somewhat vulnerable. (both feel extremely guilty for what they did and there is going to be some tension between them at the beginning 'cause they only knew each other when they were without souls)
4. Buffy and Angel begin to fall in love.
5. Darla, the Master, Luke, Buffy/Lilith, Angel/us interaction. (maybe a scene where Darla, Lilith, and Angelus break away from the Order of Aurelius?)
6. Add the Scooby gang!
7. Happiness clause in the curse is optional(depends on where ya want to go with this)
8. Have fun with it! (Tiara: Oh! I sure am! hehehe..)

Virgina 1752

She was restless as she waited for her Master that night. He was busy making plans to leave the wretched state toward Europe instead. She was glad to go along, hating the many little colonies she, Luke, and the Master had slaughtered. The thought of all those innocent little
virgins and gentlemen made her ill, almost to the point where she would refuse to drink from them.

Watching from the room they had acquired, Darla snarled. The small town was as restless as she and she wanted nothing more than to go watch, and plan, and feed.

Deciding that her Master wouldn't mind her being gone for too long, Darla draped a red coat over her dress, making sure it hid her body. She wore it whenever she went hunting, the color making the ruby redness of the blood that covered her lips after she fed stand out less against her pale skin.

She watched from an alley as carriages trotted by, her enhanced hearing picking up on the drunken laughter and soft moans from couples who were coming back from there night out. Men and their whores, no doubt, Darla thought with some disgust.

Filthy vermin.

They all were.

It took a good eye to find that precious stone amongst the murky water and passing rocks. And Darla was becoming very talented in doing that.

And there it is, She thought as she watched.

A girl with long blond hair, that looked as if it had been blest by the sun, shined through out the soft lamped streets. She wore plan clothing, and by the look of her, standing next to a fairly old horse and a tiny cart, she was obviously not from the city.

A young farm child, Darla snickered. Slowly, she weaved her way through the crowd and slipped into a alley much closer to her.

She was a women child, almost finished blossoming, but not quite; tiny. Her eyes were a sharp emerald color. She smiled at the old horse and patted its face as she glanced back at the tiny shop.

"I wonder what could be taking father so long, Duke," She spoke to the horse, obviously uncomfortable. As if she sensed Darla's penetrating gaze on her.

I doubt that, Darla thought, wondering briefly about why this girl called out to her. Or, perhaps it was the temptation of making her first childe. Under the Master's guard, he had explained that the family he was building would consist of strong vampire beings. Luke
had been a strong guard for some sort of important rich fellow. She had been a whore who cared less about her own soul than anything else.

Darla's thoughts continued to thread with what the Master had told her. Yet, this girl! She was shining so brightly and she had wondered why she hadn't been attacked already.

Her thoughts were shot off when she sensed someone behind her who smelt all too human. Drunk with the scent of whiskey, and one who hadn't bathed in two or three days, she guessed. This pathetic being that was obviously planning on attacking her momentarily enraged her.

She was about to slip into her vampiric visage when a hand shot out and grabbed her arm and pulled her under the protection of a street lamp.

Whirling around, Darla saw the young girl she had been looking at. She was now gazing down the alley she had just been in, her gaze hard before she turned back to her.

She was a pretty one, Darla had to give her some credit.

Her face was smudge slightly, from work, no less. She bowed her head slightly, "Forgive me, ma'am. But, that horrid man was about to attack you and I feared for your safety. If I don't seem too rude, why would a lady such as your standards be in a alley filled with that sort of filth? You should be in the protection of the lanterns."

Darla eyed the girl, in which she immediately bowed her head again, "Forgive me ma'am. I have over stepped my boundaries."

"No," Darla's voice spoke, sounding mockingly sweet, "Forgive me, deary... but I was just contemplating over how such a young, brave child such as yourself, was able to know how a horrid man like that would attack me."

She started, then stopped, remembering what she had been told about honesty, "Ever since I was little... I have... I've been able to feel things and see things others can't. My... my father says its a gift from God... I believe that God must be punishing me for not being able to help my father more." She looked the old horse, Duke, "Its because I'm not strong enough."

Darla shifted, interested now, "What is your name, deary?"

She looked at her, "Lilith." She cleared her throat, "Lilith Jones."

"Lilith," Darla said, rolling the sound of it off her tongue, "I presume you work on a farm?"

"Yes, ma'am." She answered.

"Does it not bore you?" She asked, curiously, watching her carefully.

"Bore?" Lilith spoke, almost sarcastically, "What could be a bore? Working on the land? Tending to sheep? Or having to clean up after farm animals?"

"Would you like to escape?" Darla questioned, touching the horse's face, which started neighing immediately. Lilith shushed him, running her hand through Duke's gray hair, and wondering why the friendliest horse was being so uneasy around this perfectly elegant women.

"I would," Lilith said, thinking about it, "But how? I am alone here. My father is barely able to do anything, and with my mother's sudden passing away--"

"Don't think of that," Darla interrupted, "Think of only you, child. Think of what you want, and tell me."

Lilith held onto the battered reins for Duke, and closed her eyes, "I want... I want to leave the farm."

"Good," Darla whispered, gently removing the reins from her hands and slowly leading her toward the darken alley again as Lilith went on, "I want... I want to be able to live without fear of my secret. Without worrying about mobs attacking me if they knew of what I can
do."

"Yes," Darla prodded, glancing over her shoulder for the drunken lad, and smiling when she found no one around.

"I want to be able to sing and dance in the moon light like how my mother used to when I was little. " Lilith continued, passion filling her voice, "I want to be able to forget my worries. I want to leave Virgina. And never come back!"

"Done." Darla murmured into Lilith's ear.

She frowned when a sharp prick nicked her neck, her eyes snapping open with fear. She felt dizzy and weak, the world around her spinning.

Darla drank greedily. Her thoughts wondering how this girl's blood could taste like magick and honey. Lilith put up quite the fight, her heart pounding until she started to slump in Darla's arms.

Using a sharpened nail, Darla slashed her exposed shoulder. Bringing Lilith's lips to the open wound, she waited for her to drink, and was not disappointed.

"You did what?" Luke asked again as they waited in line to board the ship that would bring them to Europe.

Sighing, Darla glanced around, "I sired a farm girl."

Luke gripped her arm, "What possessed you in doing so?"

Darla pulled away, "Don't worry your handsome little head about it, Luke. I picked a good one. One that I feel will be most beneficial."

"Master will be unpleased," Luke hissed.

"Master won't know until we are aboard the ship," Darla retorted, remembering the night before of how Luke had arranged for him to be put on the ship before hand.

"Where is your find now?" Luke questioned.

Darla sighed, "I left her a note. She should be done feeding by now. And getting dressed."

"Dressed?" Luke asked.

Darla suddenly grinned, "Welcome child."

Lilith stood before her, dressed in a firm fitting dress that was a light shade of blue that matched Darla's dark blue gown.

"How was your first meal?" Darla asked, taking out a handkerchief from her corset and dapping off the small droplets of blood in the corner of her mouth.

"Sweet," Lilith replied, standing still for Darla, "Father is now resting with mother." Then she pouted, "But you weren't there to watch..." Her lower lip stuck out, "I wanted you to watch..."

Darla smiled, "Be thankful for the family you had, Lilith, darling. My parents were already dead and I didn't get the pleasure of having them for supper." Tucking the handkerchief back into her corset, she turned to her companion, "Lilith, child, this is Luke. I wouldn't waste much time with him, though. He's busy trying to play favorite with our Master."

"Where will we be going?" Lilith asked, looking at the ship.

"Our Master will be going to Spain with dear Luke here," Darla answered, "But, I have arranged for us to go to another part of Europe."

"Oh?" Lilith looked at her curiously, "Where might that be?"

Darla smiled, looking back at the ship, "A little land called Ireland."

Galway, Ireland 1753

The Master had taken a liking to Lilith. She had a very wry sense of humor, and appeared to be more crafty than she seemed. Plus, the fact that she so easily looked of innocence, a look that would take her far in the vampire world. He had praised Darla for catching such a find.

By the time Darla and Lilith made it to the town of Galway, Ireland, the new year had already come. In the short time on ship and on the way to the town, Darla had shown Lilith simple skills that would keep her safe. Being Darla's first childe, she took it upon herself to practically mother her.

But she was beginning to gain confidence in her childe, positive now that she was capable of taking care of herself. Darla sent Lilith out on her own toward one side of the town, while Darla went to another.

Lilith walked with grace as she stepped into the tiny tavern. Darla had told her that she could find the best entertainment in taverns, and if she played her part right, the males would run around like fresh chickens with their heads cut off, just to impressed her. And then, she could take the victor aside, have her way with him and feed.

At least, that was Darla's style.

Lilith was still finding a feel for hunting and praying on the humans.

She sat down, watching the fight that had started long before she had sat down in the far back. Many men were fighting, rather sloppy like.
No finesse, but perhaps that was just  her way. She was surprised, however, with one of the males. He was constantly being thrown down, but always managed to get back up again. He was persistent, not likely to give up easily.

Lilith briefly wondered if it was not just for fighting.

Smiling, she watched he was knocked to the floor next to her table. His head hit the floor after being tossed over a table. She smiled down at him as he dazedly looked up at her. He was very handsome young man. A drunk, possible a whore as well, but so was her sire at a time and look at what she turned out to be.

Feeling bold, she reached down the short distance and brushed some of his thick brown hair out of his eyes, her fingers lingering on the hot skin of his cheek before pulling away.

He was about to say something when he was jerked up from the ground and tossed back into the fight.

Lilith laughed, setting aside her drink before deciding for certain that one man would not be her supper. She chose the thick headed one instead, batting her eyes at him and giggling as she left the tavern. He followed her like a lost lamb before she slammed him into the wall and nearly tore his throat out.

She hadn't been in the mood for games.

Her mind was too busy making plans.

******************************************

She managed to manipulate Darla into going back to the other side of town again. It wasn't that hard once Darla started boasting about the fresh little children she spied near the end of town. Darla always loved children.

Again, he was at the tavern.

You are a whore, Lilith thought, "Hmm..."

But she had decided. This was the night.

She would take him.

After all.

The Master had said they could pick up a plaything...

Plus, she didn't dress up in one of the finest white gowns she own for nothing.

Again, the man, Liam, as she had learned from a barmaid, was drinking down whiskey with his friends when another fight broke out.

Almost routinely, she watched Liam be thrown down, only to get back up again and be thrown toward her. Again, she smiled down at him, just as coy as ever. She lovingly caressed his cheek, Hello, Liam, she mouthed sensuously before his friends and he were thrown out of
the tavern. She smiled, moving toward the back and exiting into the alleyway.

She watched him with his friend stumbled away from the tavern. Liam
was very drunk, shouting, "We'll be back when we've got a bit of cash
money to keep the gals warm." The door slammed shut.

Liam took a hold of his friend, holding him almost as if he wanted to whisper, but nearly shouted, "Will sneak in take some of me fathers silver. He never misses it. He eats with his hands." The young Irishman smiled.

His friend scoffed, "The pig." Then promptly passed out on the ground.

Drunkenly, Liam sighed, "Well, why don't you rest right here, then?"

Wavering on his feet, Liam looked around and spotted the alley of that ghostly blond women he sworn he saw before. She was all by herself, the noble women. From the look of it, she was a tiny little thing. Wobbling, he trudged toward the alley.

He collected his breath, "So, I ask meself, `what's a lady of your station doing alone in an ally witha reputation that this one has?"

Lilith grinned coyly, "Maybe she's just lonely."

Liam blinked. Vaguely noting her different accent, "Well, then I offer myself as an escort to protect ye from harm and lull away the dull hours."

"You're a very gracious man." Lilith said, knowing very well what was on his young mind.

"Well, it's often been said." He boasted.

Lilith turned around, looking at him under thick eye lashes, "Are you certain you're up to this particular challenge?"

Liam moved closer to her, "My lady... with the exception of an honest day's work, there's no challenge I'm not prepared to face." He looked at her, really looked and nearly cursed. She certainly was beauty. A tiny little woman, but he liked that all the same. As long as she was
a fair one. He inhaled her sweet fragrance, a sweet smell of vanilla, and spicy hints of lavender.

She smiled adoringly at him and he couldn't help but blurt out, "Ohh...but you sure are a pretty little thing." He brushed his fingers against her chin, marveling at the creamy soft skin, "Where you from lass?"

"Here and there and back again." She answered.

"I've never been anywhere myself. Always wanted too see the world but..."

"I could show you." Lilith whispered, gazing up at him.

"Could you then?" His interest peeked.

"Things you've never seen, never even heard of." She said.

"Sounds exciting." He murmured.

"It is..." She looked away, then back up at him, "It's exciting... And frightening." Lilith whispered.

"I'm not afraid." He said, "Show me... show me your world."

"Close your eyes." Lilith whispered as he did what she asked. She closed the small gap between them, touching his chest and feeling his heart beating rapidly under her hand. Lilith morphed to her vampire visage, and moved toward his ear, "Now a make wish..." She softly
nibbled on his ear with careful care before kissing his neck softly and biting into his flesh.

His eyes shot open and he winced in pain, gasping as he felt his heart start to slow.

When Lilith finally pulled away, Liam fell to his knees, her mark on his neck. He wouldn't be able to stay in that position much longer. Taking a droplet of his blood from his neck, she placed it on her upper chest before slicing her nail across her chest, creating a wound.

With much care, Lilith took Liam's head and gently placed it against her chest. She stroked his hair when his eyes flew open and he began to drink. There was something in her blood that was magickal... powerful.... and filled with promises.

He drank harder, greedily as his arms wound around her tiny waist. Lilith held him close, running her fingers over his hair and on his shoulders while whispering to him, calming him, knowing just how painful it was at that moment, and recalling how painful it would be
when he awoke.

As a new creature.

The End.
