Buffy got up off her bed and paced around the room for what seem like the tenth time in the last hour. Packing boxes and suitcases cluttered the usually neat room. The sun had set over two hours ago and she had been waiting impatiently for Angel to show up.
"Buffy," Willow said looking up from her aptop. "He'll be here. Now, sit down. Your driving me crazy with all the pacing."
"Sorry." Buffy grinned sheepishly. "It's just that I can't to see Angel. Can you believe that just two weeks ago we were both in different places trying to move on with our lives and now we're having a baby and moving in together?" Buffy flopped backwards on the bed with a dreamy smile. "It's just so perfect."
Willow closed her laptop and sat next to Buffy on her bed. "It is perfect. I'm glad you're so happy." She frowned. "I just wish I could be that happy."
"Don't worry, Will." Buffy sat up and looked at her. "Oz loves you. When he's ready, he'll be back and you guys will live happily ever after, too."
"Buffy, I don't-" Willow started to argue.
Buffy cut her off. "Don't argue with me," she said, teasingly shaking her finger at her. "I-"
There was a knock at the door and Buffy flew off the bed. Flinging the door open, she cried," I missed you so- Oh, it's just you."
"Well, it's always a pleasure to see you too, Buffy," Xander said as he walked into the room followed by Anya.
"And you say I'm rude," Anya scoffed.
Buffy stuck her tongue out at her. "I though you guys were Angel."
"Obviously." Xander turned to Willow. "You ready to go?"
"You're going out?" Buffy asked.
"Yep," Willow walked over to her closet and pulled out her coat. "I'm playing the third wheel tonight at the Bronze."
"Have fun," Buffy called as they walked out the door. "And I probably won't be here when you get back."
"Bye," she called back.
The door shut behind them and Buffy sighed loudly. She looked around the room, looking for something to pass the time until Angel arrived. It was 8:15, he should have been almost thirty minutes ago and she was starting to worry. She got off the bed and began pacing the room again.
After a few minutes she gave up waiting and decided to go look for him. She grabbed her coat off the back of her desk chair and pulled the door open. Angel standing there, his hand posed to knock.
"Angel!" she cried throwing herself into his arms and smothering him in kisses. "You're late," she scolded him, pulling back a little. "I was worried."
"I'm sorry," he apologized, kissing the top of her head. "I had something to take care of before I came here."
Buffy pulled him into the room and shut the door. "What could be more important then me?" she asked with a pout.
"Nothing." Angel pulled her to him and kissed her fiercely. "And it's a surprise."
Buffy pouted again, and pretended to be annoyed.
Angel tighten his arms around her and leaned his forehead against hers. "God, I missed you." He dropped to his knees and placed a soft kiss on her belly. "I missed you, too, little one."
Buffy giggled. "I think this week was the longest in my life," she said, pulling him to his feet, and softly kissing the tip of his nose. "So, what's this surprise you were talking about?"
"You'll see." he said.

Angel led a blindfolded Buffy into his old apartment. After arriving in Sunnydale that evening, he had went straight there and set everything up.
"Come on, Angel. Is this blindfold completely necessary?" Buffy asked.
"Not anymore," he whispered in her ear as he untied the blindfold and pulled it off of her.
"I- Oh, my God. This is-" Buffy looked around the apartment in awe. The lights were off and the whole apartment was filled with lit candles, creating a romantic glow. "Wow."
"You like?" Angel asked wrapping his around her from behind.
Buffy turned around and threw her arms around his neck, kissing him passionately. "I love it."
"Good." Angel let go of her and walked over to the stereo in the corner of the room. He took out a CD and slipped it in.
He walked to the center of the room. Holding out his hand he asked, "May I have this dance?", as Jessica Simpson's 'I Wanna Love You Forever' filled the room.
Buffy smiled and placed her hand in his. He pulled her to his chest and they began to sway in time to the music.
You set my soul at ease,
Chased darkness out of view,
Ceft your desperate spell on me,
Say you feel it too,
I know you do,
I've got so much more to give,
This can't die, I yearn to live,
Pour yourself all over me,
And I'll cherish every drop here on my knees.
I wanna love you forever,
And this is all I'm asking of you,
10 thousand lifetimes together,
Is that so much for you to do?
Cause from the moment that I saw your face,
And felt the fire in your sweet embrace,
I swear I knew,
I'm gonna love you forever.
"I love this song," Buffy murmured into Angel's shoulder.
"I know," Angel replied. "That's why I picked it."
Buffy looked up at him and smiled. "I can't believe you went through all this trouble for me." She kissed him softly. "You're so incredibly sweet."
"Trust me, this was no trouble," Angel told her. "I'd do anything to make you happy."
Buffy smiled and kissed him again, before laying her head back on his shoulder.
My mind fails to understand,
What my heart tells me to do,
And I give up all I have just to be with you,
And that would do,
I've always been taught to win,
Now I never thought I'd fall,
Be at the mercy of a man,
I've never been,
Now I only want to be right where you are.
I wanna love you forever,
And this is all I'm asking of you,
10 thousand lifetimes together,
Is that so much for you to do?
Cause from the moment that I saw your face,
And felt the fire in your sweet embrace,
I swear I knew,
I'm gonna love you forever.
Angel ran his hands up and down Buffy's back. She sighed contentedly against his shoulder before looking up at him.
"I love you," he whispered as he leaned down and caught her mouth in a kiss.
The kiss was filled with pent-up passion from the last week without each other. Buffy moved her arms from around his waist and wrapped them around his neck. Angel swept her up in his arms and carried her into the bedroom.
In my life I learned that heaven never waits, no,
Let's take this night before it's gone like yesterday,
Cause when I'm with you,
There's nowhere else that I would ever wanna be,
I'm craving for the next second I can feel you loving
me.
I'm gonna love you forever,
I wanna love you forever,
And this is all I'm asking of you,
10 thousand lifetimes together,
Is that so much for you to do?
Cause from the moment I that I saw your face,
And felt the fire in your sweet embrace,
I swear I knew,
I'm gonna love you forever,
Forever (ooh),
I wanna love you forever,
Everyday, everyday...
10 thousand lifetimes together...

The next morning Buffy lay with her head on Angel's chest, thinking quietly, as Angel absentmindedly traced little patterns on her back with his fingers.
"How come you're so quiet?" Angel asked. "Is something wrong?"
"No, everything's perfect." Buffy propped herself up on her elbow and looked at him. "Beyond perfect, actually. I was just thinking."
"About what?"
"Tonight. When we go talk to my mother," Buffy groaned. She was really dreading that. "Do we really have to tell her? Maybe we could just send her a card on Grandparents Day?" Buffy suggested.
"Buffy, she's your mother. You have to tell her sometime, and not with a card," Angel said. "It's better to do it sooner then later."
Buffy sighed dramatically. "I guess you're right. What are you? The voice of wisdom?"
"Yep." Angel rolled over so that she was underneath him. "What time did you tell your mother you would be there?" he asked as he pinned her arms above her head and kissed down the side of her face, making his way to her mouth.
"Around 7:30."
"Good."

"Okay, how do I look?" Buffy asked, nervously smoothing out her skirt.
They were standing outside the door to Buffy's mother's house, waiting for Buffy to work up the nerve to knock on the door.
"Buffy, you look great," Angel assured her. "Everything's going to be fine."
"I know. You're right." Buffy nodded, taking a deep breath. "Alright, here we go."
She turned and faced the door. Raising her fist, she reluctantly knocked on the door. Angel grabbed her other hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.
After a few minutes Buffy's mother flung open the door with a big smile. "Buffy, I'm so glad to-" Her smile vanished when she saw Angel standing next to her daughter, holding her hand. "What's going on?" she demanded.
"Can we come in? We have something to tell you and you probably won't like it," Buffy said nervously.
"Oh, o-of course." Joyce stepped away from the door to let them in.
She led them into the living room. Buffy and Angel sat next to each other on the sofa and Joyce sat across from them in the armchair.
There was a long awkward silence. Buffy fiddled nervously with the hem of her skirt. Angel's eyes wandered around the room, not really focusing on anything. Joyce just sat there and stared at them. There was something different about her daughter but she couldn't figure out what.
"So, are you going to tell me what's going on or are we just going sit here all night?" Joyce asked them, breaking the silence.
Buffy took a deep breath and looked up at her mother. "I'm moving to LA to live with Angel," she said rapidly.
"What!?!" Joyce cried in outrage.
"Wait. Before you start you start yelling at us, there's something else," Buffy said reaching for
Angel's hand. "We're having a baby."
"What!?!" Joyce yelled again. "H-How... I thought vampires couldn't have children."
"They can't," Angel asked.
"Well, then, how? Who's the father?" she asked Buffy.
"Angel's the father," Buffy answered.
"But, you just said..."
"I know. It sounds crazy, but he is. It happened during Thanksgiving."
Together, Buffy and Angel told her about the Morha demon's blood making Angel human, spending the day together, fighting the demon after it came back to life, and Angel asking the Oracles to take the day back.
"You really gave up your one chance at humanity for my daughter?" Joyce asked in awe.
"Mrs. Summers," Angel said. "I would gladly give up anything for your daughter. I love her and our baby more then anything. They're my world. I don't know what I've done to deserve this but I do know that I will never do anything to intentionally hurt them."
"I have to admit I wasn't very happy about this at first," Joyce started.
"Can you say understatement?" Buffy mumbled to Angel under her breath.
"But now I realize just how much you two love each other," Joyce continued, ignoring the comment. "I haven't seen Buffy this happy in a long time."
Buffy smiled and went over to hug her mother. "So, I guess this means you're not going to disown me?"
Joyce laughed.

Buffy looked at Willow and Giles sadly. "I guess this is good-bye, for now." All her stuff was packed into Angel's car. Angel was waitting outside for her. "I wish Xander could be here."
"He would have if he hadn't had to work." Willow stepped up to her. "I'm gonna miss you."
Buffy gave her a small hug. "I know. I'm gonna miss you." Buffy let go of Willow and went over to Giles and throw her arms around him. "I'll miss you, too."
"Take care of yourself," he whispered, before letting her go.
"I will." Buffy backed up toward the door. "I better go... before I start bawling like a baby." She started to turn around but stopped. "Don't be strangers," she said. "You guys are welcome to come visit any time you want."
"Oh, believe me, we will," Willow joked. "Especailly, Xander. Just so he can annoy the hell of you."
Buffy laughed and with a small wave, she walked out the door.
