Sunnydale Park

Willow and Buffy walked through the park during one of Buffy's nightly patrols. "So, you're moving in with Angel?" Willow asked Buffy.

"Yep. This weekend. I can't wait!!"

"What does your Mom think of this?"

"With collage starting in a couple months she's not to happy with it but she knows that we love each other, so she's not going to stop it. Besides she likes Angel."

"Oz hasn't asked me to move in with him yet." Willow pouted.

"Don't worry Will. He'll ask when he's ready."

"I hope he's ready soon!"

"He's a guy, who knows how long it will take."

Willow saw a vampire behind Buffy. "Look out!! Behind you Buffy!!"

Buffy's leg shot out behind her and kicked the vamp in the groin. As he doubled over in pain, Buffy punched him in the stomach and pushed him into a branch on a near by tree.

"Dusted!" Buffy cheered. "That's good for tonight. Do you want to come over and help me pack?"

"Sure. It's that time of the month again for Oz, so I have so I have nothing better to do," she said looking up at the moon.

Buffy's Room

"Do you still want this?" Willow asked holding up a lavender skirt.

"You can keep it," Buffy stepped out of the closet were she had been packing clothes into boxes.

"Wow!! This is like a all you can eat buffet..." Willow exclaimed. "Except with clothes."

Buffy laughed. "And you don't have to pay." She looked over at the clock next to her bed. "It's late. You should probably head home now. I can finish packing the rest tomorrow."

"Okay." Willow agreed. "I wanted to stop by the library on my way home to say good night to Oz anyway."

"Are you and Xander going to help me move my stuff to Angel's on Friday?" Buffy asked.

"Of course. I wouldn't miss my best friend moving in with her vampire turned human lover. That sounds like something from a soap opera. Any ways I'm so glad you guys are together. If anyone deserves to be happy it's you and Angel."

"Yeah, and we have you and Jenny to thank for it. You guys are the ones who found the spell to make him human. Well, thanks for helping me pack. Your the best."

"Night Buffy." Willow picked up the pile of clothes Buffy gave her and walked towards the bedroom door.

"Night Will." Buffy stopped and though for a minute. "Oh, wait a sec."

"Yeah?" Willow stops and turns to face Buffy.

"Have you got a cross or holy water with you?" Buffy asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Yep, both. Bye," she answered.

"Bye."

Angel's Apartment (Friday afternoon)

A loud bang came from the apartment.

"Owwww!!!!!! Goddamn thing!!!!" Angel yelled.

Buffy, Willow, and Xander run into the apartment, all caring boxes.

"What's wrong honey? Are you okay?" Buffy asked worriedly.

"I just dropped one of you boxes on my foot. What do you have in there? Bricks?"

"Well, we all know it can't be books," Xander remarked.

Buffy stuck her tongue out at him. "Oh that was just sooo funny. I'm rolling on the floor with laughter." She sat down her box and walked over to the other one and opened it. "If you must know it's my shoes."

"Should have known. You have enough shoes for a small army," Angel said.

Buffy crossed her arms in front of her and pretended to be annoyed. "Yeah! Well... well... You have enough..." She stopped to think for a minute. "Leather for twenty cows!"

"Now that's a comeback. I bet he's shaking in his leather pants now!" Xander said sarcastically. Buffy hit him on the arm. "Ouch!!!!" he whined.

Willow sat down her box, so did Xander. "Well these are the last of the boxes. We should probably leave now."

"Yeah, I have a date with Cordy. If I'm late she threatens to tell 'Josie Grosie' that I want to go out with her." Xander said with disgusted look on his face.

"That's gross," Buffy remarked as she walked across the room to the door and opened it. "If you're leaving, leave and if you're not, leave anyway." She smiled sweetly.

Xander looked at Willow. "Gee, Will do you get the feeling the Buffy, our bestest best friend is trying to get read of us?"

"I wonder where you got that idea. Oh yeah! It must have been when she told you to leave." Angel replied sarcastically.

"Jeepers! I was just joking. Don't have a cow or anything Dead Boy."

Angel glared at Xander. "You were also getting on my nerves. And don't call me 'Dead Boy'. I'm not dead anymore."

"I was not getting on your nerves," Xander argued.

"Were too!"

"Were not!"

"Okay, that's enough!!!! Your both getting or my nerves," Buffy exclaimed.

Angel and Xander point at each other. "He started it!"

"Come on Xander." Willow grabbed his arm and pulled him toward the door. "Let's leave before Cordy decides to tell 'Josie Grosie' that you like her and before you start World War 3."

"But he started it." Xander pointed at Angel again.

"And I'm ending it. Bye Buffy. Later Angel." Willow pulled Xander out the door and shut it behind her.

"About time they left." Buffy walked over to Angel and wrapped her arms around his waist.

Angel kissed her lightly on the lips. "We should unpack your stuff now. You wouldn't want your dresses getting wrinkled."

Buffy pulled his head down and kissed him again. "Alright," she pouted. "Ahh! Who gives a damn about my dresses." She pushed Angel onto the couch and sat on his lap. "I would much rather be doing other stuff with you." She kissed him passionately.

"Me too." Angel picked her up and carried her into the bedroom.

Spike and Drusilla's Warehouse

"Come here pet," Spike called to Drusilla.

"It's time, luv." She walked over to where he is sitting and sat on his lap.

"Time for what, ducks?"

"Time for the Slayer to lose the thing she treasures the most," Drusilla replied.

"I like the sounds of that." Spike kissed Drusilla. She kissed him back.

Buffy and Angel's Apartment

Buffy and Angel were laying in bed holding each other when the phone rang.

"Ohh!" Buffy groaned. "If that's Giles, I'm going to kick his British ass, I swear." She got out of bed and walked across the room to the phone.

"I'll help."

Ring, ring.

Buffy picked up the phone. "Whoever you are better have a damn good reason for calling or I'm going to be pissed." Buffy complained into the phone.

"Buffy? It's Giles."

"Oh, sorry." Buffy apologized. "Oh, no, what happening now? Please tell me it's not another prophecy."

"I'm afraid so. Can you and Angel come to the library now."

"Yeah, we'll be there in a little while"

"Um, Buffy, please hurry."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't get your tweed undies in a ball we'll be there" Buffy quipped. "And no, we won't stop to make out on the way. I promise. Now good-bye."

"What was that all about?" Angel asked.

"There's some new prophecy going down. Giles wants us at the library now."

"Okay." Angel grabbed his shirt off the floor and started to get dressed.

"I just hope it doesn't involve me drowning again," Buffy mumbled gathering her own clothes.

Library

Giles was pacing around the library when Buffy and Angel get there. Kendra, Jenny, Willow, Cordy, Xander, and Oz (in werewolf form) were already there.

"Wow. Everybody's here. This must be big. Or maybe its a party for us." Buffy looked at everyone's faces, then looked back at Angel and shook her head. "It's not a party for us. Spill Giles. What's the deal?"

Giles walked up to her and handed her a book. "Read this." He pointed to a certain passage.

Buffy read it out loud. "The Slayer will lose one of her most prized possessions to two enemies from her past." Buffy's eyes widen. "Oh wow! Prized possession? That means something I own right?"

"Possibly," Giles answered. "Or it could very well mean someone you love."

"Don't worry Buffy," Willow said reassuringly. "Everything will be fine. We'll find a way around this. Won't we, Giles?"

"Yes, quite right," he answered. "Willow, you and Jenny get on those Dread Machines," he points to the computers sitting on a near by table. "And find out what you can."

"Computers, Rupert. It's not a dirty word," Jenny said.

"Yes, whatever," he replied absentmindedly. "Xander and Cordelia, you can help me research this further. Kendra, Buffy, and Angel, you guys can patrol. Look for anybody from Buffy's past that would be considered a enemy."

"Yes, sir." Kendra headed towards the door.

"God, who died and made him king," Cordelia complained.

"Cordy, just do what you're told for once," Willow snapped.

"Let me know when you find anything," Buffy said as she and Angel headed out the doors.

Graveyard

Buffy and Angel were walking through the graveyard hand in hand. Kendra had gone to the park to look around.

"What if whoever this is goes after the people I love?" Buffy asked Angel worriedly. "What if they go after you? What if they hurt you?"

"Nobody's going to come after me. And if they do, watch I know they won't, I'll bite them," he joked.

Buffy smiled at him. "Angel, you're not a vampire anymore. You don't bite."

"So? I'll bite them anyway."

"Seriously though. What if something hap.." Angel cut her off by pressing his lips against hers.

"Nothing is going to happen! Not to me. Not to anyone. Except maybe Xander if he gets on my nerves again."

"I love you," Buffy said staring into his eyes.

"I love you, too." Angel kissed her passionately on the lips.

Buffy wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

Sunnydale Park

Kendra walked silently through the park. She suddenly heard voices behind her.

"Who's there?" she called.

"Lookie here, Pet. It's a Slayer." Spike stepped out of the shadows behind her, carrying a baseball bat.

As Kendra turned around to face Spike, he swung the bat and hit her in the head. She fell to the ground unconscious.

Drusilla stepped out of the shadows behind Spike. "She makes good bait."

Apartment

After checking in with Giles, Buffy and Angel went home. Both really exhausted, they got ready for bed.

Buffy emerged from the bathroom wearing flannel pajamas. "We didn't get to unpack," she said looking around the room at the boxes strewn everywhere.

Angel, wearing silk pajama bottoms, pulled back the covers on the bed. Buffy crawled in.

"We were too busy... doing other things. We can unpack tomorrow," he said crawling in beside her.

Buffy smiled. "I like doing other things." Then she frowned. "But it won't feel right until my clothes are hanging next to yours." Buffy sighed.

Angel got out of bed and walked over to one of Buffy's boxes.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

Angel took a couple of her dresses and hung them in the closet next to his clothes. Then he walked back to the bed and got in. "Now your clothes are hanging next to mine," he explained.

"That has got to be the sweetest thing anybody has ever done for me." She leaned over and kissed him passionately. "I love you." She kissed him again.

"I love you, too." He kissed her back. "Now go to sleep."

"Okay." Buffy laid her head on his chest and soon they both fell asleep.

Apartment (Early Morning)

Buffy and Angel were still sleeping when the phone rang.

Ring, Ring.

"Huh!?!" Buffy sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes sleepily.

Angel looked at the clock next to the bed. "5:45am!! Who the hell has the nerve to call this early in the morning?"

"Xander." The phone rang again . "You better get that."

Angel got out of bed and walked over to the phone. "Hello?"

"Was I right? Is it Xander?" Buffy asked.

Angel pulled the receiver away from his mouth. "No. It's Giles."

"Oh. I'll kill him instead."

Angel glared at her. "What's up Giles? Did you find anything about the prophecy?"

"No. We haven't found anything about the prophecy. Right now we have a bigger problem. Kendra never checked in last night." Giles told Angel over the phone.

"She didn't?"

"No. Would you and Buffy go look for her?"

"We'll go right now."

"Very good. Check in at the library after."

"Yes, we will. Bye."

Angel hung up the phone and walked over to the bed. He grabbed Buffy's hand and pulled her out off bed. "Get dressed."

"But I don't wanna get dressed," she whined.

"Kendra didn't check in last night and Giles can't find her anywhere. He wants us to go look for her."

"OK." Buffy walked over to a box and pulled out some clothes and headed into the bathroom.

Apartment (10 minutes later)

Buffy and Angel were dressed and ready leave. They opened the door and walked out of the apartment.

"Hey, what's this?" Buffy saw a paper stuck to the door. She pulled it off and read it. "I know where Kendra is," she stated.

She handed the note to Angel. He read it out loud. "Slayer, if you ever want to see your friend, Kendra, again, be at the warehouse at sunset. Bring Angel with you. Life's a bitch ain't it, mate. Spike."

Library

Buffy and Angel ran into the library. The gang was already there.

"We know where Kendra is." Buffy said.

"Where?" Giles asked.

"At Spike's old warehouse. The one that burned down last year." Angel answered.

"Spike and Drusilla have her," Buffy added as she handed Giles the note.

While Giles was reading the note, Buffy walked over to the weapons closet and started throwing weapons into a gym bag.

"What are you doing?" Oz asked.

"I'm going to save my friend before Drusilla gets hungry." she answered.

"But it says to go at sunset, does it not." Giles protested.

"I'm going now. The sun is up so they won't be able to escape." Buffy replied.

"We'll go with you." Willow got up out of her chair.

"No. I'll go with her," Angel said. "You guys stay here. We don't want you to get hurt."

Buffy and Angel walked out the door.

Warehouse

Buffy and Angel snuck in through the back. They saw Kendra tied to a chair at the front of the room and they could hear Spike and Dru talking in another room.

"Can I eat her now, luv?" Spike whined.

"No. Not until I get what I want." Drusilla stared into space for a few minutes. "Shh!" She looked at Spike. "The walls are listening!"

Spike gave her a confused look. "Huh?"

In the other room Angel was watching for Spike and Drusilla, while Buffy was trying to untie Kendra.

Angel saw Spike coming. "Buffy! Hurry, he's coming!!"

Spike walked into the room. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here."

Kendra jumped out of the chair as two vamps come out of another room.

"A bit early aren't we?" Spike asked.

"Think of it as your wake up call," Buffy replied.

Spike looked at the other two vampires. "Kill them!" he ordered.

The two vamps went after Buffy and Kendra. Spike went after Angel.

"Kendra! Catch!" Buffy threw a stake to her.

Kendra caught the stake easily and stuck it into the heart of the vamp she was fighting. Buffy quickly dusted the vampire she was fighting too. As the vamp turns to dust she saw Spike hit Angel with a long board.

"Angel!!!" she cried as he fell to the ground unconscious.

Buffy ran over and started to fight Spike. She punched him in the stomach and kneed him in the groin. She was about to stake him when she heard Drusilla.

"Fork over the boots or sister Slayer gets it," Dru demanded.

Buffy pulled her arm back and turned to look at Drusilla. "Huh? Boot's? What are you babbling about?"

Drusilla pulled out a knife and held it to Kendra's throat. "Give me your boots or your friend dies."

Buffy looked at her feet. "You want my boots?"

"Yes!" Dru was starting to get annoyed. "Give 'em to me now!"

"But my grandmother gave these to me. There my favorite." Buffy protested.

"Now!!" Dru snapped.

Reluctantly Buffy took of her boots and gave them to Drusilla. Dru let go of Kendra and sat on the floor.

"You are a freaky whore, ya know." Buffy turned to Spike and stuck her stake into his chest. "And you're dust."

Dru, who was happily trying on her new shoes, didn't even notice as her lover turned to ashes.

" Let's get out of here," Kendra said, walking over to Buffy.

They helped Angel up and walked out of the building.

"That was really weird," Buffy commented and looked at her feet. "My feet are cold."

Library

Buffy, Angel, and Kendra were sitting around a table telling Giles what happened. Angel was holding a ice pack to his head.

"Buffy, where are your shoes?" Giles asked suddenly noticing Buffy's feet.

Buffy started laughing. Giles looked at her strangely.

"Turns out the prized possession wasn't someone Buffy loved. It was a pair of boots that her grandmother gave her." Angel answered for her.

"Yeah. Drusilla was so busy playing with Buffy's boots that she never even noticed when we killed Spike." Kendra added.

Buffy stopped laughing. "I know you meant, when Buffy killed Spike," Buffy corrected her.

"Sorry. When you killed Spike," Kendra said, smiling.

"Well we better go," Buffy said. "Angel looks like he could pass out any minute and I don't want to have to carry him home."

" I am not going to pass out." Angel grumbled.

"See you guys later." Buffy and Angel walked out of the library.

Apartment (Next Day)

Buffy and Angel are hanging the rest of Buffy's clothes in the closet.

"I still can't believe that my most prized possession was my boots. I guess you really did drive her crazy," Buffy said.

"I guess I did," Angel agreed. "If boots was all she wanted why didn't Spike just buy her a pair?"

"Dense people have to do things the hard way," Buffy picked up the last dress and hung it on a hanger. "There. We're all done."

As they turned to leave the closet door swung shut.

Buffy tried to turn the doorknob. It won't budge. "Uh, Angel the door won't open."

"What!?" He tried to open the door. "It's jammed."

"So we're stuck in here? All by ourselves? With nobody around to get us out? What are we going to do? " Buffy asked with a grin.

"I know. How about this?" Angel pushed her up against the door and kissed her. Buffy wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

As they leaned against the door kissing it flew open and they fell out onto the floor.

"Owww!" Buffy said.

"Damn it!" Angel growled.

Warehouse

Drusilla was still sitting on the floor playing Buffy's shoes.

"Spike, do you like my new shoes?" He didn't answer.

"Spike?" She looked around and saw his ashes on the floor near by.

"SPIKE!!! NO!!!!"
