"Are you almost ready?" Angel called to his wife, from the living room of their apartment.

"Just one second," Buffy called, shoving the last bottle of milk into the already bulging baby bag before joining her husband in the living room.

Angel took the bag from her and swung in over his shoulder. "Is that everything?"

"You've got the car seat and cradle in the car right?"

Angel nodded.

"Then, I'm quite sure we've got everything," Buffy confirmed.

"Are you sure?" Angel asked, looking at his watch. Buffy shot him a look. "What? It's just every time we go somewhere, you always end up forgetting something."

"We better get going or Giles and the gang will leave without us," Buffy said, choosing to ignore his comment.

Angel walked over to the door and opened it. Buffy smiled at him as she walked past him. "Are you absolutely positive you're not forgetting anything?" he asked again, as he closed the door and locked it.

"I'm sure," Buffy answered in an exasperated voice, wrapping her arm around Angel's waist and leaning her head on his shoulder as they walked down the hall.

*****

A few minutes later the door knob rattled as it was unlocked and Buffy tiptoed back into the apartment.

She disappeared into a room down the hall and emerged a few minutes later with a pink bundle of blankets cuddled to her chest.

"Mommy is so sorry, sweetie," Buffy cooed to the baby as she opened the door. "I can't believe I almost forgot you."

*****

"Hey, G-man, nice digs you scrounged up for us," Xander whistled as he stepped onto the private jet Giles had somehow got the Watchers council to lend them for their trip to Canada, with his arm around Anya's waist.

"It is very nice," she agreed. "I can definitely see us joining the 'Mile High Club' on here."

"Pardon?" Giles asked.

"She means, they're gonna screw in the bathroom. That's where everyone goes to join the 'Mile High Club'," Cordelia told him as she stepped onto the plane behind them. She looked around, surveying the place.

The inside of the jet had two black leather couches, one loveseat and two arm chairs. On one end of the plane there was a little hall off to the side leading to the bathroom, a small storage room for their luggage and the tiny kitchen. On the other, there was a door leading to the cockpit.

"I'm impressed," she said with a nod. "Those watchers really know how to fly in style."

Behind her Doyle stumble into the plane, his arms loaded down with bags. One for him and at least four for Cordelia, even though they were only going to be gone for a week. "Where do you want these, Princess?"

"There's a small room down that hall for them," Giles said, taking a couple bags from him and leading him to the room. Xander followed after them with his and Anya's bags.

"Where's Willow and Oz?" Cordelia asked Anya, who sitting on the arm of one of the couch's filing her nails.

"I think they are still outside waiting for Buffy and Angel to show," she replied in a bored tone. "They're always late. It annoys me."

"Everything annoys you," Cordelia mumbled to herself.

"What?"

"Nothing. I never said a thing."

Willow and Oz stepped onto the plane then, soon followed by Buffy and the baby.

"Well, look who finally decided to show up," Xander joked as he, Giles, and Doyle emerged from the storage room. "I thought we were gonna have to leave with you. Where's Angel?"

"He's out getting our stuff from the car," Buffy answered, handing the baby to Giles, along with a bottle. "Can you feed Emma for me, while I go help Angel?"

"Sure."

"Thanks," Buffy replied, kissing her ex-watcher on the cheek.

*****

Half an hour later everyone was settled in and Giles had told the pilot it was all right to take off. Angel was sitting on one of the couches reading a book, Buffy was lying with her head in his lap, reading Cosmo as she rock a sleeping Emma's cradle. The rest of the gang minus Giles was playing a game of Monopoly. Giles, having found nothing better to do, was in the tiny kitchen making them all snacks.

"So, Giles," Xander called. "You never did tell us how you managed to get the Watcher's Council to lend you their private jet."

Giles thought for a minute, before answering, "Let's just say, they owed me a favor."

"Oooh!" Xander cried as Cordelia landed on Park Place, which he happened to own. "Pay up!" Turning his attention back to Giles he said, "Let me guess? You sent Buffy to threaten them, didn't you?"

"What?" Buffy cried sitting up on the couch. "Hey! I never threatened anybody!" She grabbed a pillow off the couch and chucked it at Xander."Maybe he doesn't want to tell you. Mind your own business, Harris."

"Are you saying I'm nosy?" Xander challenged her.

"Yeah, I'm am," Buffy teased. "Wha'cha gonna do about it?"

Xander shrugged. "Nothing. I was just wondering." After a brief pause he said, "So, how come you guys are so late?"

*****

"Wow, you guys, this place is great," Willow gasped as they stood just outside the airport, waiting for Giles and Angel to return with their rental cars, to take them to their hotel. "It's so pretty!"

A light snow must have fell just before they landed because the ground was cover in a thin blanket, as was all the surrounding buildings.

Cordelia took one look at the snow and scolded. "Ugh. Snow. I hate it. It's cold and wet and icky."

"Don't worry Princess," Doyle soothed, coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'll keep ya warm."

"You promise?" Cordelia asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, guys, let's keep it PG rated. There's little ears listening," Buffy teased.

"Ah, she ain't payin' no attention to us," Doyle replied. "Little Emma's too busy chewing her mother's hair to listen to us."

Buffy looked down at the baby in her arms, and sure enough, she had a chunk of Buffy's hair grasped in her chubby little hands, chewing away on it. "Lovely," Buffy winced.

"My gosh, Buffy, what did you do to that poor child?" Anya gasped, noticing what the baby was wearing.

"What?" Buffy asked looking down at her daughter. She didn't see what was so bad about what she put on the baby. She had dressed Emma in a light pink snowsuit and matching hat. "She looks fine to me. Nice and warm and snugly."

"She looks like a little snowman or something. How can she move in that?" Anya asked.

"She's six-months old, she ain't gonna be movin' too far," Buffy answered.

"Ladies, ladies," Xander interrupted before Anya had a chance to reply. "Let's try to the fighting to a minimal, at least for the next three days. We wouldn't want anyone to be hospitalized or anything during our Christmas vacation, now would we?"

Willow walked over to Buffy. "I think she looks adorable," she whispered.

"Thank you," Buffy whispered back.

"Hey look," Oz pointed, changing the subject. "Here comes Giles and Angel with our cars."

"Great," Cordelia exclaimed. "I'm freezing and tired. I can't wait to get to the hotel and go to sleep. I need my beauty rest."

"You need more than that," Xander mumbled under his breath as he picked up his and Anya's bags and walked them over to the cars.

"Hey, I heard that, Xander Harris," Cordelia shouted, stomping off after him with Doyle in tow.

"Now, what was he just saying about no fighting?" Buffy whispered to Willow as they went to join the others.

****

"What do you guys want to do now?" Willow asked, sitting next to Oz on the couch in Buffy and Angel's room. Anya was sitting on Xander's lap in the lazyboy and Cordelia and Doyle were sharing the armchair. Buffy was in the kitchen getting a bottle ready for baby Emma and Angel was in the bathroom changing her. Giles had decided to stay in his room and rest.

The gang had all unpacked and settled into their rooms and decided to gather in Buffy and Angel's room to figure out what they were going to do that night. It was the easiest room to get to. Willow and Oz's room and Xander and Anya's room adjoined to Buffy and Angel's on either side, putting them in the middle. Giles' room was across the hall, as was Cordelia and Doyle's.

Actually the rooms were more like mini-apartments then rooms. The was a bedroom, bathroom, living room and a small kitchen equipped with a small refrigerator, stove, microwave, cupboards filled with dishes, and a small dish washer.

"Actually, I think Angel and I are just going to chill here tonight. It was a long flight and I'm really tired, so is the baby," Buffy replied.

"I have to agree with my lovely wife on that," Angel said, emerging from the bathroom with a freshly changed Emma in his arms. He handed the baby to Buffy and kissed her lightly on the cheek. Buffy gave the bottle to Emma who gripped the it in her chubby little hands and hungrily began sucking on it.

"I wanna try out my new bikini tonight," Anya told the group.

"Uh, Anya, it's winter and not a Californian winter either, I'm pretty sure the outdoor pool is closed until it warms up," Cordelia stated.

"Who said anything about going to the pool?" Anya asked. "I wanted to try it out on Xander. See how bad it turns him on and then we'll have sex."

"Anya, we've talked about this," Buffy reminded. "No talking about sex in front of the baby. Little ears, remember?"

"Oh, please," Cordelia scoffed. "Like she doesn't see it or hear it every day."

"Cordelia, I'm sure Buffy and Angel do not have sex in front of the baby," Willow defended. "You don't right?"

"Right," Buffy answered. "We put the baby to bed first, don't we sweetie?"

Angel nodded and wrapped his arms around her waist and watched as she feed the baby her bottle.

"What are our plans for tomorrow?" Willow asked, changing the subject.

"I dunno," Cordy answered. "What do you guys want to do?"

"I saw a Christmas carnival thingy on the way here, we could check that out," Xander suggested.

"That's sounds fun," Oz agreed.

Everyone nodded in agreement. "Christmas carnival it is then," Buffy said. "And next day we go shopping."

"Shopping?" Angel asked.

"Yes, shopping. I still have a couple things I have to get."

"But it's Christmas Eve."

"I know. That's my favorite time to shop. You get to look at all the shops decorated for Christmas. It's fun. You guys with me?" she asked Willow, Cordelia, and Anya.

"Yep. Sure," they answered.

*****

"Wha'cha doin'?" Buffy asked, sitting down onto the couch next to Angel, after having put the baby to bed, cuddling up to his arm.

"Watching a movie," he replied.

"Ooh, what one?"

"'Where the Heart Is' I think."

"Oh." Buffy paused. "You're not getting really into it or anything, are you?"

"No, not really." Angel glanced at her. "Why? What's with the twenty questions?"

"Well, I was thinking of trying out that huge pool like bath tub, in our bathroom, and I was wondering if you would care to join me?" Buffy smiled suggestively, cocking an eyebrow.. "I could really use someone to scrub those hard to reach places."

Angel jumped up off the couch and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards the bathroom. "I suddenly feel really, really dirty."

Buffy giggled, following him to the bathroom. "I was hoping you would say that."

Part Two

"Ooh, I love carnivals," Willow chirped, as they walked into the brightly lit fairgrounds around noon the next day..

"I don't," Anya complained. "Carnivals are only money grabs. You pay to play games that are rigged so you can never win and to go on dirty, lame rides. Besides, it's cold."

"Well then, dear, you should have worn more then your bikini top under your jacket," Xander scolded gently, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

Anya shrugged. "It work so well on you last night, I thought if I wore it all day today, the effects would be even better tonight," she explained.

Everyone snickered and Xander cleared his throat, slightly embarrassed. "Anya, we've talked about this. What we do during our alone time is nobody's business but our own. You don't tell everyone about."

Anya smiled and nodded. "Right. I remember. No talking about our sex life if front of others. Sorry."

"What do you guys want to do first?" Buffy asked, taking the baby from Angel as he unfolded the baby stroller. She then gently set Emma in it and fasten little strap around the baby's waist, in case Emma started to squirm, she didn't want her to fall out.

"I want to go watch that guy over there get out of that straight jacket," Willow replied, pointing to a magician a few feet away, who was trying, unsuccessfully, to get out of a straight jacket.

"Ugh," Anya scoffed. "That trick is so over rated," she exclaimed boredly. "Everyone knows that secret."

"I don't," Willow pouted.

"Well, you live a few thousands and you pick up a few things," Anya replied. "Ooh, fortune teller!" she cried excitedly, pointing to a tent with a picture of a fortune teller holding a crystal ball on the front. "Come on, Xander, we have to see that."

"Isn't she the one who said carnivals were over rated?" Angel mumbled.

Buffy rolled her eyes and shrugged. "We'll meet back here at five o'clock," she yelled after them, as Anya dragged Xander away. She turned to the rest of the group. "I guess it's just us-" The only people left were Angel and the baby. "Where's everyone go?"

"Willow and Oz went to watch the magician and Cordy and Doyle took off somewhere mumbling something about a horse and cart," Angel answered, putting his arm around her shoulders as they started walking, pushing the stroller in front of them. "I guess it's just you, me and the baby."

Buffy put her arm around his waist and snuggled into his side. "You won't hear me complaining. Quality time with my family, what could be better?"

"Absolutely nothing." Angel answered, with a smile.

*****

A couple hours later, after taking Emma on the carousal, stopping for quick, healthy lunch of really greasy carnival hamburgers and fries, and stopping to watch the flame-eaters and some dancers, Buffy spotted a ring toss, with really adorable Snoopy prizes

"Angel," she squealed, grabbing his arm. "You have to try that. You have to win me... er.. Emma, I mean, a Snoopy toy. She'd love it."

"Buffy," he protested. "Those things are rigged. You can't win, all you is keep dishing out money, until you're finally broke."

"Oh, but just look at her Angel, she wants a Snoopy toy." Buffy leaned over and unhooked Emma from her stroller, picking her up. "Don't you, baby? You want to Daddy to win me.. er... you a stuffed Snoopy, don't you?"

"Da!" the baby gurgled, pointing to the ring toss booth.

Angel sighed and reached into his pocket, stomping over to the ring toss. "I'm a sucker," he mumbled to himself.

Buffy followed behind him with the baby and the stroller, a huge grin on her face. "Daddy's a sucker," she whispered in the baby's ear, kissing the side of her head. "We have him wrapped around our little finger, don't we sweetie?"

The baby giggled and smiled in response.

*****

Half an hour later and fifty bucks poorer, Angel walked away from the ring toss game over to where Buffy was waiting, with the baby back in her stroller, for him, a big white, stuffed Snoopy in his arms.

Buffy giggled and threw her arms around him and the stuffed animal. "I knew you could do it," she exclaimed. "What happened to those games being rigged so no one could win them?"

"Buffy, I just spent fifty bucks trying to win it, there was no way I was coming back empty handed."

Buffy laughed and grabbed the stuffed toy from him and showed it to their daughter. "Look what Daddy won for you, baby? Do you like it?"

Emma let a happy squeal and reached for the toy, which was about twice her size.

"I think that's a yes," she told Angel.

"It had better be a yes, after all that work I did trying to win it."

It was starting to get quite dark as Buffy looked at her watch. "It's a quarter to five," she said. "We should head back to entrance to wait for the others. Man, it gets dark early here."

"Yeah," Angel agreed, taking the baby stroller, while Buffy carried the Snoopy.

As they turned around to head back to the entrance, Buffy bumped into the shoulder of someone who was heading past them.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Buffy apologized.

"Well, you'd better!" a familiar British voice answered.

"Spike!" Buffy and Angel gasped at the same time.

"Ah, bloody hell," Spike groaned. "It's Peaches and the Slayer.... and well, this is a new addition to the slaying family." Spike noticed the baby in the stroller and took a step toward her.

"Get away from my baby," Buffy growled warningly, stepping between him and the child.

"Relax, Blondie. I wasn't going to hurt her."

"What are you doing here, Spike?" Angel asked.

"I'm here with Dru," he answered. "She's always wanted to come to Canada, so I brought her, seeing as though it's the holidays and everything. What are you doing here?"

"We're here for Christmas," Angel told him.

Buffy looked around. "Where is she?"

"Um, you mean Dru?"

"Yeah, where is she?"

"Uh, um... You see," Spike stammered. "I think she ran off with one of the face painting clowns," he rushed, embarrassed.

Buffy bit her lip to keep to keep from laughing but without success. Soon she was doubled over in laughter, and Angel was joining her.

Spike stood there, humiliated. If he hadn't been a vampire his face would have been bright red. "Go ahead. Laugh it up."

When she had calm down and caught her breath from laughing, Buffy said, "You're are such a loser, Spike. Why you keep going back to her, I don't know."

With that Buffy and Angel, pushing the Emma in front of them, left Spike standing there fuming, to meet their friends at the entrance to the park.

*****

"Hey, G-man," Xander yelled, as he and the others, excluding Angel, who had taken Emma back to his and Buffy's room for a nap, burst into Giles' room at the hotel after returning from the carnival. "We're back!"

Giles looked up from the book he was reading on the couch. "I can see that," he glared at the boy. "Don't call me 'G-man'"

"You won't believe who Angel and I ran into at the carnival," Buffy exclaimed, plopping down in the arm chair next to the couch.

"Who?" he asked.

"Spike!"

"Spike?"

"Yep. Spike," Buffy replied. "We were getting ready to go meet the gang and I turned around and walked right into him."

Giles frowned in confusion. "Why would Spike, of all people, be hanging out in a carnival in Canada?"

"He said he was here, in Canada, because Dru wanted to come." Buffy started to laugh as told them the reason why he was at the carnival. "He was at the carnival because he thought Dru was skipping out him with one of the face painting clowns."

Everyone laughed.

"Spike got dumped for a clown?" Willow giggled. "That's funny."

"He wouldn't agree."

"Yeah, yeah," Anya whined. "Enough about Spike. Look what I won playing darts." She pulled a box of chocolates out form behind her.

Giles nearly jumped off the couch in excitement when he saw them. "Are those..."

"Jeez, take a pill, Giles," Buffy said. "They're only chocolates."

Giles jumped off the couch and ran over to Anya. He grabbed the box from her. "Buffy, these are not just any chocolates, they're English chocolates."

"And the difference would be..." Xander asked.

Anya glared at him. "English chocolates are only the best chocolates ever!" She took the box of chocolates back from Giles, who was practically drooling all over them. "Since it's almost Christmas, and I'm in such a generous mood, I'll share them with you," she told him, tearing the plastic wrap off the box and opening it.

Giles looked at her, his a mixture of surprise and hope. "Really?"

"Yes." Anya split the box in half and gave half of it to Giles.

"Okay," Buffy said, looking at them strangely. "I'm going to go back to my room and see how my husband is making out with our daughter. I hope you two enjoy your chocolates."

*****

Buffy walked into her hotel room expecting to find her daughter sleeping in her cradle and Angel watching TV or reading. She did not expect to find Angel laying on his back, asleep on the couch, with little Emma sprawled across his chest, sound asleep, her tiny thumb stuck in her mouth.

It was the most adorable thing she had ever seen. Buffy crept quietly into the bedroom to retrieve the camera she had pack for the trip. After snapping a couple pictures of her husband and daughter, she set the camera on the coffee table in front of the sofa, and gently, so she would wake her, she picked up the baby and took her into the bedroom and put her to bed in her cradle.

She walked back over to were Angel lay, still sleeping. She on the floor beside him and placed a soft gentle kiss on each of his cheeks. "Angel, honey, wake up."

Angel stirred slightly, mumbling something, before turning slightly onto his side, facing her, still sound asleep.

Buffy sighed. "Angel!" she nearly yelled in his ear. Still, he never woke. "You know, I was looking forward to having some fun before the baby woke up, and you're not even gonna wake up," she grumbled, getting up off the floor.

She was about to stomp off when an arm snaked around her waist, pulling her backwards, causing her to fall on top of Angel.

"Faker," she smirked, as lips began kissing trails down the side of her neck.

"Just a little," he mumbled between the kisses.

*****

The next day the girls went shopping, leaving the guys at the hotel. They spent the day watching sports on the television and playing with the baby. Everything was fine until about 2:30 when Emma woke up from her nap, crying, and wouldn't stop.

Angel tried everything to make her happy. He fed her, changed her, played with her, even tried singing to her.

"What's wrong with her?" Giles asked. "She's not sick or anything, is she?"

Angel put his hand to the baby's forehead. "I don't think so," he answered. "She doesn't feel warm."

"Maybe she just misses her mommy," Oz suggested.

"Probably," Angel agreed.

"Hey," Xander cried. "I know what'll cheer her up." He into his room through the adjoining door.

"Yeah, you leaving the room would cheer just about anyone up," Angel replied, rubbing Emma's back, trying to soothe her.

"Haha, funny." Xander answered sarcastically from the other room. He returned with a helium-filled balloon in one hand and what looked like a gnome in the other.

"You think giving her a balloon and a doll are going to work?" Angel asked. "I already tried that. It didn't work. Besides she could choke on the balloon if it busted."

"The balloon is not for her play with," Xander told him. "Watch." He took a pin and poked a hole in the end of the balloon, then brought it to his mouth and inhaled the helium. He walked over to where Angel was holding the baby and reached for her.

"Hi, baby Emma," he cooed, his voice coming out in a high-pitched squeak. "Come see Uncle Xander."

Emma stopped crying and looked at him, then buried her face in Angel's shoulder and screamed even louder.

"Oh, great! Look what you did!" Giles scolded. "You made her cry even more." He took the baby from Angel, giving him a much needed break.

"What about my gnome, we haven't tried that yet?" Xander whined. "Maybe it'll make her stop. Look it's animated." He pushed a button on the back of the over sized doll and it's hands and legs started moving, like it was marching on the spot.

Angel looked at the ugly thing and groaned. "You've already scared her enough for one day. You show her that thing and she'll never stop."

Giles looked at the gnome and winced. "That reminds me of Sid. Why on earth did you buy it?"

"You think it looks like Sid too?" Xander smiled. "That's why I bought it. I was going to give to Buffy as a joke gift."

"For your own safety I'd advise you against that," Angel warned. "Buffy hates dummies and anything that reminds her of them."

A few minutes later the door to the room opened and Buffy and the girls walked in. Their arms full of bags and packages.

At the sound of Emma's crying, Buffy dropped her bags on the table next to the door and rushed over to Angel and the baby. "What have you guys done to my baby?"

"Nothing," Xander defended. "She's been like that since she woke up from her nap."

"She was getting better until you scared her half to death with the stupid squeaky voice of yours," Angel argued.

"My Xander does not have a squeaky voice," Anya exclaimed, defending her boyfriend.

"He does after he inhales helium," Doyle informed.

"Oh, Xan," Buffy groaned, taking the baby from Giles. "You know she hates high-pitched sounds."

"We should clear out now," Giles said, ushering the gang toward the door. "Let Buffy and Angel settle the baby down."

"Yeah," Anya agreed, with a sigh. "Xander and I have yet to have sex today."

Xander blushed and put a hand on her. "An."

"Really!" Cordelia exclaimed in a fake interested tone. "Well, I'd say you'd best get to it."

The door shut as they left and they could be heard bickering as they headed to their rooms.

By then the baby had calmed down and stopped crying, and was practically asleep in Buffy arms. Angel came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I think she just wanted her mommy," he whispered in her ear. "I know I did."

"Hear that, baby," Buffy whispered Emma. "Your daddy is a sweet talker."

*****

The next morning, which was Christmas morning, Buffy awoke long before Angel. She got out of bed and took Emma out of her cradle, which was on the floor at the foot of the bed. She took her into the bathroom and washed and changed, before taking her into the living room. She spread out a blanket on the floor and set the baby on it along with some toys to keep her occupied.

She then bounded back into the bedroom and jumped onto the bed, landing next to a slumbering Angel.

"Rise and shine, baby," she said, kissing each cheek and his nose. "Time to open presents!"

Angel groaned and brought his hand to his eyes. "What time is it?"

"6:00am."

Angel groaned again and rolled over covering his head with a pillow. "It's too early to open presents. Wake me up in a couple hours."

"Early?!" Buffy exclaimed. "This is late for me!" She took the pillow from him. "Now, no going back to sleep. Emma's waiting for us in the living room."

Angel made a little whining sound but climbed out of bed and followed her to the living room where they proceeded to open presents.

The gang had decided to exchange present amongst themselves later that afternoon, after everyone had the chance to celebrate with their significant other, so the only present they had to open where ones from each other.

Angel got an art supply set from Emma and a couple sweaters and painting canvases from Buffy. Emma got tons of clothes and toys from her parents. Buffy got clothes and a beautiful diamond necklace from Angel and a bronzed baby shoe, Emma's first shoe, from the baby.

"Oh my gosh, this is so adorable!" Buffy squealed as she pulled took the shoe from the package. She tackled Angel with a big hug and kiss. "How'd did you ever think of something like this?"

"Me?" Angel asked innocently. "Emma's the one who got it for you."

"Right." Buffy replied and picked up the baby, who was chewing on a rag doll she had just gotten. "Thank you, baby girl!" she smothered the baby's face with kisses, causing Emma to giggle.

"Before I forget, I've got one more thing for both of you," Angel told them getting up from his spot on the floor and walking into the bedroom. "Close your eyes."

Buffy did as she was asked.

"This is something you've been asking for for a long time and I figured Emma should have one." Angel set a warm furry bundle in Buffy's lap.

"Oh my god! Angel!" she squealed. "A kitten! How did you mange to keep this a secret?"

"I snuck and got her yesterday while you guys were out shopping. She's been staying in Willow and Oz's room. I got up really early and got her from there."

"This is so sweet." Buffy set the cat down and hugged Angel. "It's the best Christmas present ever!"

They heard Emma let out a loud happy squeal and turned to what she was squealing about. The kitten was rubbing up against Emma's side, tickling her and she was rubbing the kittens back, causing it to purr loudly.

Buffy laughed and snuggled into Angel arms. "I love you," she whispered.

"Merry Christmas," he replied.

"The merriest ever."
